A giant temple lies on top of the mountain with the houses built going down the mountain. In ancient times people who lived on the mountain carved out an anthill like tunnel system into the mountain. The Holy Kingdom of Mors Et Stercore uses those anthills for the utility buildings, roads, and markets, but they have the houses, animal pens, and barracks outside of the mountain for quick acces.
