Yo, the name's Batcat, though I also go by Bat, Niv, Niveous, or Niveousangel, male, age 31. I do ask that you forgive the generic/cookie-cutter introduction here, as I've gotten no where near enough sleep for the day and still got a solid 13 or 14 hours before I can lay down again.

Roleplaying career: I've been RPing for most of my life now, starting around the age of 14 or 15. I've even built and helped run my own forum (with the help of a few friends, of course), including building the host server up from scratch (don't ask me how, all I remember is asking a friend quite a few questions and following a guide. I just know it involved Linux and lots of sleepless nights trying to work out kinks. Still one of my favorite recent experiences and really helped kick start my interest in cyber-security more than it already was).

Roleplaying preferences: As for preferences, I tend to favor 1x1 over groups, but that's not to say I'm against joining a group game if the plot interests me enough. Genre wise, I tend to lean heavily into mature dark "semi"-fantasy (I say semi mainly because it's more or less modern times/reality, but with fantasy elements added in. Think mutants, demons, vampires, dragons, etc. I'm sure there's a term for that style, but I can't think of it at the moment) romance with a good amount of action thrown in. Though I tend to shy away from pure slice-of-life, I know a good romance story can't flourish without some slice-of-life sprinkled in.

As far as plot/story length goes, I tend to get overly ambitious the more into a story I get. I'll be coming up with various plot ideas and twists, sharing them with whoever I'm writing with. It's not uncommon for stories to turn into multi part RPs that interconnect.

Hobbies and interests: Aside from writing, gaming is probably my largest hobby by far. My competitive gaming days are behind me, so I tend to focus more on cooperative games when it comes to multiplayer. Currently bashing my head against the wall grinding through a mod pack for Minecraft that takes about 4,000 hours to complete... On average... For a group of four... I'm going at it alone... Other than gaming, I also like to collect and build Gunpla whenever I have some spare cash to toss around and the inventory gods decide to bless me with in-stock products.
