Rafe was running, again. It must have been the fourth or fifth time this week he'd been caught, so, all in all, not a bad Tuesday. As he leaped over the space between rooftops, the guards, he assumed they were guards, they could very well be haze employed merchants, or mercenaries, whatever they were, they were following him, the entire idea seeming ridiculous, and yet it was happening. He jumped again, once again feeling his entire self become weightless for a brief millisecond, and the land lights lay on his well balanced toes. Damn Terrowin, being so cute and strong, why'd the little tyke have to have a birthday today? Oh well at least Rafe got his exercise. Skidding to a halt and looking over his shoulder at the guards the Fool saw that they were hot on heels, which was just how he liked it, there was generally less stopping time for them that way, he picked up running again, staying just outside the range of the weapons of his pursuers. He led them on a merry Dance throughout the city, exercising carefreely before realizing that he had been summoned to the castle, some meeting of the arcana as had all of the major arcana, he sure hoped nothing bad had happened. Though that would be a miracle if all were there without any sort of harm coming to them. But he figured that should anything he need to be concerned about happen, Atina would find him and tell him, probably.....
Beau waited outside the mouth of the cave, unsure of what would happen, hoping that the others would stop being slow, he definitely didn't want to have to sleep outside natures haven tonight, he had a feeling it was baaaadd juju or something. Anyway there he sat, watching the scene with the cigars, intrigued by the interactions of his new family, they were certainly a varied bunch, though that's probably good, if everyone were the same it might get boring. It was just then that suddenly a crashing wave came bursting through the cave, flooding everybody to the outside, definitely summoned by old man wrinkles to get them going an started on their paths, or however the old man liked to put it. As he watched what happened bed a sense of calm and peace washed over the old mans eyes, mixed with something that was a lot like hope, as they all stared at the stars, Beau couldn't help but feel a new energizing feeling, he had a purpose that wasn't entirely selfish now, he wanted EVERYBODY to be able to see those stars every night. So he turned his face toward Cora, the ice elemental who had offered a different solution to his council previously, and saw that her eyes were filled with something, what exactly it was hard to tell from this angle. Beau wondered what it could be. But he but just shook his head clean of the thoughts and moved on, thinking of the mission ahead and his part in it, and paying close attention to the other conversations around him.

lol Voltus, that would actually be pretty cool! I imagine "Daddy? How did you meet mom?" "Well son, she used to be a horse and I met her when some people attacked my caravan with a rain of arrows" "Huh? O_o"Voltus, are you going to arrive to Damascus in the next post?

Oh the horse puns, "honey have u met the neeeiiiggghhhbours yet?" And so much more. Also the kids would probably have some weird horse genes.

Also I'm posting soon, sorry it took me so long, THERES PRACTUCALLY NO JNTERNET where I am.

EDIT: ugh, it's so bad, but whatever I can edit it later when I have more time and better connection if I want to
Beau watched as all gave their five-cents worth in an attempt to help the cause. Beau smiled noticing that all of them, including himself, seemed to be getting along much better, much more peacefully than he would have thought possible last night. He listened intently as the fire elemental with the bow introduced himself and presented a logical, reasonable plan, a thing he hadn't expected from the hot headed individual. Also the quiet girl whom Wolgran had addressed as Fauna the night before, spoke up and offered herself as bait, throwing down a gauntlet that was picked up by Shida, though he wasn't entirely sure the electrician comment made by Shida was meant in good humor, he didn't take offense, he had often been an electrician, so, whatever man. This was wonderful, they already had people dedicated enough to be bait, though if the plan worked the way it was supposed to work, they would not even need bait, as giant tornados of fire.......

Beau suddenly noticed a presence in the corner of his eye, there was a strange man standing at the mouth of the cave, wielding a dagger seemingly made of solid light, he struck and interesting silhouette, painted against the sky as he was, various people reacted, all suspiciously, but upon opening his mouth, Old Man Riverguardian calmed the fears of those around him, and of the newcomer himself it seemed, it was then that the old man began to get angry, veins popped in his head, his beard seemed to grow multiple inches, and the volume of his voice was almost as thunderous as Beau himself could be, it was a terrefing sight, made even more so by the knowledge that he would kick them out of Nature's Haven.

Beau chuckled after the moment of silence that folllowed the old man's tirade. Father Time was absolutely right, they should get going, it was just that no one had ever accused him of not moving fast enough before, it was refreshing. So Beau, turning his face from the old man's and looking around and what was happening, In the brief quiet of the cave that followed the old man's departure, Beau stood up and spoke "The old janitor is right, We should get moving, we can discuss our plans on the way there if we have to, but I think we have a decent one already layed out, if we don't leave soon it's possible that we won't make it to Riverdale at all tonight" and with that he picked up his staff and headed for the cave exit, reaching where the New guy was standing Beau held out his hand in good faith "I'm Beau, Lightning elemental, Pleased ta meetcha Phil"
WE'RE SO CLOSE TO STARTING AND IM SO EXCITED, AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT!!!!!!!

You like it?

Chya we do.

Also death is going to be an interesting subject in this RP, as it would seem that everybody has their own opinion on the thing, I wonder what Mokeia's character will have to say on the subject, the interactions will be interesting, that's for sure.
Everything was happening so fast it seemed that it all occured at once, flashing heat and dampening cool mixing, twisting, making the air in the cave churn with the myriad of power being thrust in various directions and into the world itself, the girl whom last night had been covered in bright lights and had spoken so passionately of the human condition, and of hope, emerged from her resting place, her eyes bloodshot, her look crazed and haunted. Then, everything suddenly began happening in slow motion, the attack, the screaming, the fighting, the bright light consuming it's own, suddenly, words pierced through the hazy sludge that was time and perception....

"Don't stand around, go away! NOW!"

Holding his arm to his face Beau looked away, unable to stand the blasts of tangible light, he almost threw himself behind a nearby scorched rock, but the tangible light stopped, it's destructive aura ceasing, and as he lowered his arm and looked at the seen what he saw was that all that was left of the point of origin was dust. Taking a moment to leave his mouth agape at what had happened, he only sort of listened to what was said by the old man, some sort of warning about getting to caught up in everything, and about the possible, incredibly deadly consequences of going overboard, it was all so surreal. Regaining his composure Beau put his folded hands to his lips, thinking for a moment about what, he was pretty sure their names were Cora and Aerilyn, had said, It made sense, they weren't terrorists, but there was something about it that he didn't like, maybe it was that as Terrorists they were free from an obligation of protecting citizens, but then he remembered what it was someone had said last night, about protecting those , as his leg bounced up and down rapidly, moving almost as fast as his mind, he decided that if this was ever going to work, there were already so many moving parts, and individual egos, personalities, and now even more probable death, he decided that his pride, and even his gut, needed to be kept in check, but perhaps there was a compremise possible, so he brought his hands down, looked at the rest of them around the fire and spoke "Look, if we can do this without pointless bloodshed, then great, not to mention I love your whole symbol of hope thing, for that I'm all in, but I still think that a two, even three pronged approach is the way to go though, It better masks our starting point, it splits their forces and focus, and generally the smaller the group the easier it is to be stealthy, which makes our lives endlessly easier, so I guess the question is, whats your theory?" Beau was curious, and it was getting the better of him.
Hey guys, Sorry bout there being like two days between posts, life has had ALL THE CHAOS lately.

Wow, thanks for the input guys! XD I like BattleShovel and Noyuri's ideas...those seem like they could easily be put together.Squirrels, deer, ect. Skinwalkers tend to have a problem similar to housecats where they don't necessarily need to hunt to survive, but if they don't they get restless and aggressive, so it's a means of expending extra energy.

Ever killed an entire deer by yourself out of sheer boredom? Skinwalkers have.
Drake's inner expression was entirely mirthless, he was worried that she might say something to that effect, and moreover to that effect in that way, the way she looked down, and had hesitated told him all that he needed to know, whatever was causing these disturbances, all present knew that it was something supernatural, there was one difference, now Drake knew that she knew that, and could infer that she probably had a theory on what species it was. Drake continued his drunken act, smiling widely and pretending to laugh as he made his way inside "Well then it sounds like the cops have their work cut out for them, they're looking for someone who is both old and able" Drake continuated his faux-drunken mirth, unlocking the door as he took his arm from around the Paladin and opened the front of his abode, he made sure to stumble slightly, though not as much as before, calculating that it wasn't unheard of to have sobered up a small amount in the amount of time and distance they had walked. "Well this is it, thanks Miss, you're nice people ya know that?" he slurred through lazily closed eyes, just hoping to get inside and think over what had occured.

After closing the door he took a deep breath, reaching out with his sense of smell and his ears, closing his eyes to heighten them slightly, wondering what the Paladin would do, as well with his sense of taste enhanced he chugged the rest of the spirit in his hand, making his way to the couch and falling over.
Beau was among the first up, he rolled out of his giant-mushroom-bed-thing, or GMBT, as he had decided to refer to it, and, landing on his face, picked himself up and growled as he did so, seeing breakfast prepared, he scurried over as the others also began to awaken and the old man gave them some more information. Beau tried to listen, he swears he did, but it was all just so dire and important and monotonous for first thing in the morning, luckily he picked up on a few bits of information.

"These items are special, they are Zars, meaning that they are infused with an element. They are very powerful when handled properly and will increase the control you have over your element. Take what you need and go. We have waited long enough here, and every day will weaken us and strengthen them."

His brain making its way to fully functioning with the addition of a good meal and halfway decent lecture to the mix, Beau more or less tuned everything out, despite this, from what he did hear, the old man actually had a decent mind for tactics, having an emergency safe house and restocking station was a good idea, especially considering the nature of this war. He raised an eyebrow as Father Time drew the covering from over the pile of Zars, and in the back of his mind Beau heard the rest of the ancient's words but, again, he wasn't really paying attention, he had noticed long and sleek bluish-purple colored staff sitting among the other weapons, as he approached it and picked it up, he held it in his right hand and twirled it a little bit, it felt good, right, like it had been carved specifically from the bit of strange bone just for him, it crackled and as he held it he felt his heart race, Beau suddenly had a sense of being supercharged, like he could do anything he needed to, he holstered the Staff, noticing on the side that the words, etched in a language he had never seen before but completely understood, one word was carved 'Beau's'. Rolling his eyes at the implied pun and shaking his head, Beau turned his attention back to the pile. Noticing a boomerang as well, Beau picked it up, intending to make fun of whoever it was that would be chargin' into battle with such an antiquated weapon, though then he noticed that on one side of the boomerang the word 'Beaumerang' was engraved in the same language as that on the staff, laughing, and figuring that he would probably just call it something like 'Bolt', Beau turned the device over and read the incription on the other side, which was actually just a series of pictures that told a story.

As one hot, wet tear escaped down from the otherwise shockingly cold blue-green eyes of the lightning elemental, Beau put the Beaumerang in his jacket pocket, it fitting nicely in there. Finishing up with the pile, Beau caught the tail end of the conversation the old man and a girl, whom Beau was pretty sure was an earth elemental, and added his two cents into the conversation:

"You Hygrons should talk less and act more, its almost noon already."

"We should split up and half of us attack RockHill on the other side of here, that way The Vygorns have less of an idea where we are coming from, not to mention that Rock Hill is a mining town, and going for the resources is like terrorist tactics 101, we could arrive at Rock Hill about an hour after the time they arrive at Riverdale, which would put both attacks at close to midnight, meaning that we would most likely catch them by surprise" Beau added, sitting down next to the other two and then absent mindedly playing with the boomerang he had pulled out of his pocket.
