Hm... I've kind have been losing interest in RPing in general. Therefore, I will either close this thread or have someone else manage it.
I'm slowly getting back to normal, so expect Melvin's crew to start moving in my next post.
Lin did as Alice implored, grabbing Hez's wrist and taking her to a hiding spot behind some large boulders. Hez remained silent and blank-faced, but Lin peeked around the corner to watch the ensuing battle. Her eyes widened with horror as the scenery changed into a nightmarishly distorted, monochrome version of itself. Alice also transformed into something unrecognizable and murderous. The hiding duo didn't change in appearance, but suddenly Lin felt out of place in this freakish world, which was responding to Alice's violent bloodlust.

During the chaos, Hez glanced around in response to the dramatic changes. Lin realized that the mute girl wasn't afraid. Normally, Hez would be hiding her face within her hood and clinging like a scared child to Lin. Now it seemed as though the reverse was happening. Lin hugged Hez, mostly to keep herself calm during the battle.

Finally, the nightmare stopped. Everything returned to normal. Lin stood up and saw Chess dropping something by Alice's feet. The two girls returned to their comrade, and Lin asked, "Is everything all right?"
I haven't been feeling well for the last few days, and it might take some time for me to get back to normal. Please be patient with me in the meantime.
Sorry if I've been MIA for a bit. I just started a new part-time job and was preoccupied with that. I should still be around to manage this.
Sorry for the delay. Just started a new part-time job today, so I was preoccupied with sorting that out. I should still be around to make posts.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm going to be adding a new character shortly. *runs back to edit post*
"I don't know..." Lin murmured, transforming back into human mode now that the battle was over. "I thought she would recover by now, but she's still in this catatonic state. Let's hurry and investigate this place ASAP so we can get her back to the museum. I know we agreed to help you find your artifact, but I'm also worried about Hez's condition."

She took Hez's hand and guided her forward while asking Alice, "Let's approach this from another angle. Since this canyon is unfamiliar to you, is there anything here that has any significance to you in real life? The teacups, the canyon, the sky, the type of monsters, anything you can think of. Even if you think it's unimportant, the fact that it's showing up here should mean something. We don't know anything about you, so you need to search your memories for any clues."

Back at the museum in Remniche, an imposing figure stood in front of the doors to the empty facility. Even amongst the most bizarre Oneiros, this one practically dominated the otherwise calm atmosphere with his sinister presence. His light-colored hair swept up behind his head, almost matching his equally pale skin, his eyes deep and saggy, his expression unusually depressing compared to the vividly evil armor wrapping around every part of his body except his head and chest. The deep red-and-black armor, spiked with claws and blood vessels everywhere, pulsed with a life of its own as several extra arms protruded from his back. They only responded to his commands, but when they were in standby mode, the arms writhed around calmly.

The eerie yet sad young man reached his actual hand out, commanding one of the longer arms to break open the locked doors by force. He stepped inside and looked around at the hundreds upon hundreds of artifacts cluttering the place. Nothing seemed to catch his eye until he found Lin's chalkboard monitor humming away as it recorded constantly changing data within Vivi-Dream. The man frowned even harder than usual. He had staked this place out for a few weeks now, not having infiltrated until he found a chance when the owners were away. He couldn't go inside before because he would have to return to the real world just as the perfect opportunity arose.

This time, he went to sleep a lot earlier, and his persistence finally paid off. He stood before the monitor and sent his armored arms out to key in lots of numbers and codes. He wanted to find what he was looking for quickly. He didn't know if he'd get another chance like this, so he became desperate to hack into the museum's databank. The arms responded in turn, typing at blinding speed to match their owner's anxiety.
Man, I'm sorry, but I don't feel interested in this RP anymore. Not only am I managing two RPs myself, but I'm also anticipating starting a job really soon, so I need to devote my time and attention there. Again, I apologize, but I'm just not feeling it anymore.
“I don’t know how long it has been, but I’d feel bad for raiding your food supplies, but I’d also feel bad if I drug the authorities back here if I went to grab something.”

"Huh? Why're you asking me?" Melvin raised an eyebrow and scratched his head, feeling weary from spending this whole time planning the team's next move. "Since you're a member now, you should have access to the pantry as well. There isn't much there, such as crackers and soup, but my guys are restocking for our trip tonight. Ah, speaking of which..."

He returned his attention to the map for a second. The desk was littered with notes, used quill pens and a small trash can brimming with crinkled papers. "I think I figured out what we're gonna do tonight. I'll brief everyone during the trip, but basically we're heading for Aoli's chapel to the west and taking it down. The plan probably sounds painfully simple to you, but I have to consider weather conditions, the enemy's security measures, any current events going on, and our members' skills before finalizing our movements."

Melvin let out a huge, unrestrained yawn (that could probably be considered rude to Deimos) and stretched, rubbing his eyes of exhausted tears. "Goddammit, I feel like a leech has sucked my brains out... It ain't easy being the boss of a resistance movement. I'm used to this sort of stuff since I have to stay in hiding all the time, but that's usually for my own survival. Thinking about everyone's safety is really tough. Of course, I've considered you for the attack on Aoli - none of my buddies have a Lorelei Thauma, so it'd be a real bonus if the two of us could communicate long distance like we did last night."
Well I have no idea what to do. I'm seriously struggling to continue in this RP when our characters aren't meeting each other and we don't post for such long periods of time.
