A war that has lasted for years between different enemy nations has come to a catastrophic conclusion. Years of warfare between countries and the countless casualties of soldiers and civilians alike has caused one country to take drastic measures and launch several nuclear warheads at the enemy. The enemy decided to retaliate and launch their own warheads eventually leading to a nuclear fallout to the majority of the world.
The country that you live is now a giant wasteland with little to no resources still available. Most people scavenge surrounding areas, looting, killing, pillaging, trying to find as much resources as they can. The fallout has also caused the wildlife and some humans to mutate into violent monstrosities.
But this community is trying to rebuild society back to the way it was before the fallout and live in peaceful times. One of the ways they thought they could achieve this Utopia is by continuing to educate the children. They hope that one day the next generation would find a way to create a better society.
Rules:
*No magic, keep it modern
*characters can form relationships but no sex scenes
*please include what class your character is in and possibly a simple they're learning
*classes can include: survival classes, plant and animal identifications, foraging, math, engineering, shop classes, cooking, and first aid. Feel free to add more
*Anything can happen to the school like bandit raids, wildlife attacks, and resource shortages but mostly everyone is armed so situations like these can be dealt with appropriately
*Cannibalism is fine
*Make it like an average high school day but with like a random intruder in the middle of it
*Please don't try and kill other characters please
