@Kassarock Don't worry, once the meeting is over things will slow down.

So, I can go ahead and start typing my post up, allowing those who have not posted after Askel's blackout, can include their characters reacting what Askel further has to say. Is this okay with you guys?

Captain Aksel

PSS Excursionist: The Commons Room

Askel was stiff, in the midst of it all, she maintained a straight yet tight posture with all four of her arms folded. Through Riggs’s silence, Nine’s under clear words hidden beneath mumbling, Pax’s disagreement and doubt, Grick’s suggestions, and Ven’s question, Askel managed straight eye contact with the floor. Villianians are known for glaring, glancing, gazing- there is power within their eyes, emotion. Though she held heavy silence, her pupils portrayed her internal struggle pertaining to her decision- the stress and the anger. But the struggle was obvious, who she was angry with, not quite so. Askel finally moved from her position while turning around with a twist of her heel. The Captain paced five steps from the table and away from her crew, now facing the window overlooking the aimless stars of space. The quietude continued…

Deep space was infinite, a great warping black curtain that entangled them. The stars were bright, yet they were dimming. Tick, tick, tick, the clock ticked, and after each stroke the stars faded from her vision. That was until they completely disappeared with only the dark abyss present... She collapsed. As soon as Askel felt herself falling, she slapped her right palms against the screen of the window, trying to catch herself, but there was little the Captain could do with the little strength she had left while entering unconsciousness. She hit back first with the head following with a bounce of the head against the floor.

Sweat swelled from the surfaces of her temples and towards her forehead. Askel's neck was clammy and cold with the completion of her face a pale shade of her normal skin tone. Askel was pictured as a strong individual, she carried herself as such, but the reason for the blackout points likely to stress and anxiety. Other causes could have led up to her lost of consciousness, such as slight dehydration and exhaustion. Because since the discovery of the recording, Askel has lost track of both essential factors of life.

Once awakened, Askel panted heavily, gasping for air and to catch her breath. Dizziness still stood very relevant with her, as it did moments before she fell. She tried staring into the eyes of whoever had awoken her, wrestling with her words and with keeping her head up and supported, "T-the Nomad... We-we-we c-could..." Askel stopped, she gripped firmly the right words as she in the midst of it, tried gathering the last she could remember. On duty, the Captain never for once bore the face of terror, and with her Villianian eyes it was extremely evident to all present in the room. Askel felt vulnerable, and she grew distasteful of the feeling. To counterattack this emotion, Askel quickly tried pulling herself back up, using the wall besides her as an aid. Yet as soon as she reached her feet, Askel became wobbly again, losing her balance. She needed support.

Super long post, but things are about to get interesting...

Captain Aksel

PSS Excursionist: The Commons Room

"Just because your scared of the dark, or is it you don't like because you can't dance in it?" The Captain frrowed her brow, leaning in closer on her pilot. Askel's jaw tightened as the rest of herself became tense, she did not take disobedience or disrespect lightly. "I don't know what you are talking about--," immediately after the short statement Askel angled her head downward and sighed. "I'm not going to force you to do anything... at least not now."

Askel positioned herself behind her seat at the table as she stared intently at the digital clock above the entrance door to the commons room. It was seconds before she decided to shut the door, but then came the Teufelshunde, Cu. He was what-- a dog? Well, at least that was how Askel saw it when he approached the commons area in nude. Yet she really didn't have time for his crap and was not afraid of yelling at him no matter his supposed reputation, she had enough experience with the so called, "tough-guys" of the galaxy. So angrily and coldly she ordered, "Sit down now, Cu!" while pointing to his place at the table.

Once the time ticked past five minutes, she marched at that same door, swiping her administrative card against the panel beside it, thus locking the door shut. Askel rotated her body around facing the table and acknowledging those attending the meeting. Though Askel still stands against Nine accompanying in on the meeting, she recognized it was far too earlier to argue with her and bickering would only side-track them. There was Rigger Moretz, a Corvidae, just like her adopted parents. She would definitely not see him as the scum of the ship, at least he is making some difference. They both equally share the belief in the end justifying the means, perhaps that's what growing up on Corthinidae does to you. In personal encounters with Riggs, Askel always tends to hide her emotions around him, or at least pushes herself to as she grew use to doing around his kind her whole life. Then there was Z, an interesting creature, but none the less to Askel, an animal, sometimes a very vicious one. Although, Askel felt that it very much well fit into the picking business as it would fit into a zoo, she treated it fairly, as fairly as you would treat a house pet. The last one to arrive was Ven, yet Askel can appreciate that he still made the effort to come. Another one to not only believe in the ‘greater good’, but also he hides his emotions just as he hides the rest of his body behind rolls of bandages. And then there was Pax, now Askel did not hate Pax, not like she hated Nine, but she was annoyed with her drunken habits and general ill-mannered behavior. Okay, some days Pax can really set Askel off hence the dents busted on the doors of Pax’s room. Pax is lucky Askel has not busted her with the baton.

“So this is everybody?” Askel question while adjusting into her seat and ushering the recording upwards. “I want you to first listen to this. Grick managed to salvaged this yesterday.” Askel grabbed her laptop that she had pervious propped in the room before initiating the meeting. She then inserted the chip through the computer, allowing the audio to sound,

"On Trorth B601, still can't find any help... or answers. Don't know what I was thinking, going to a small c-col-colony planet-- well, I thought I find other friendly human faces, we are know for building colonies. But it seems like I'm the only one. Really desperate at this point for any sign. Not sure if the Coun-Council is doing anything about this, or if they even care... Human Council member Mathen Hitchcock died of a stroke a couple of weeks ago. We were still in process of electing a new council member before we suddenly... dis-disappeared. Or at least the most of us... The message then ended, and the room sunk into silence. This was a lead Askel was willing to take, it sounded all too suspicious to her. But who would be crazy enough to pose the Council as the culprit suspected of killing off an entire race?

"I spoke with the council two hours ago, while most of you were asleep. If the chip is transported to them, you all are guaranteed immediate release, yet they refuse further investigation into the mysterious wipe of the human race. In fact, they even confirmed to destroy the chip once possessed. They are allowing me to have the chip imported to them within the next ten hours. But I'm not giving them the chip..." The Captain disconnected the recording from the computer, tightly grasping the chip and rising from her seat.

"But we will become targets. Every single one of us in this ship are now outlaws. If there were a better way for me to assist the situation, I would, but freeing any of you on my account might actually allow you to help the council track down the rest of us. If you want to discuss my decision, there will be time for that later, but for now a game plan.

We'll be dropping down on the Nomad. For those who are not familiar with the Nomad, let's just say it gets its name because it attracts the far wanderers of the galaxy, and by wanderers I mean the every sinful scum of the galaxy. This place probably invented the black market. No one is ever promised a stay on the Nomad, hence another reason for the name. However, we are headed here for weapon-dealing. Figured if we are taking on the council, better be prepared. Yet for us, this is a PSS, a Picker Space Ship. They'll see that right when we dock. Good thing, at least for us, Pickers are known to go haywire on their officers, rioting against them. Nine, you can simply agree that you helped the Pickers in overthrowing me. Haven't came up with plans for the lieutenant, but as for me, female Villianians are known to sell big on the slave market. No, you are not going to actually sell me,"
Askel stopped and stared particularly at Nine before continuing.

"But to make the rebellion seem realistic, you Pickers will have to act as if that is your current objective and reason why you are on the Nomad in the first place... Also, no one will believe as bad as a cop I have been grown to be known as was beaten by her own prisoners unless I was actually... beaten. So, if I am going to play the part, got look the part, right? Anyone willing to batter me up? I am not holding anything back on this plan." Allowing one of her own members of the crew to bruise her, was an even further way to show Askel's insanity, yet determination in her plan and for answers. She understand if it was all too much for the crew at once, but no mater, she was ready to jump into action.

@boomlover Hm, hopefully that will work out. But the lieutenant will be a very important spot.
@boomlover Well, I really need to get the Lieutenant spot filled and @SpookySquid has not responded in four days, today would be his fifth. So if he does not respond by tonight, I'll give you the spot.
@jel2658 Yeah, its completely cool, buddy. I understand, just put out what you can.
@Oxenfree No, its completely fine. I appreciate a character's accent.
Just giving @jel2658 time to post, before Askel's announcement.
@R31GN @Evil Snowman @Kassarock @hoppiholla391
Wow, I was not expecting the post to come in so quickly! I am really quite happy with everyone's posts. Great job, guys. I'll put another post after the rest who have characters have the chance to post.
