Hi, i know i'm new here but am i allowed to vote? Because if so, I vote for Mehrydaen.
Gaylia thought for a moment. She was about to respond when a man came crashing from the brush. He was gasping for breath, wearing tattered clothes and covered in bleeding scratches. She went for her bow, as she saw Al draw his sword. She heard Al speak, the light, jovial tone replaced by that of a commander and soldier.
Gaylia raised an eyebrow and finally let herself smile. "You may prove an honest soldier yet. I'll ask once more. Before I take my leave, where are we headed?"
"My friends call me Lia," Gaylia repeated. "Why should I travel towards no clear destination?"
"I was not poaching, as your guards so kindly understood," Gaylia said, standing a bit taller. "I was scavenging plants for medicines that could one day save your life." Gaylia's face had turned a slight red from sudden anger. She looked at Al and then at Rom. "My friends call me Lia," she said looking towards Rom. "Its a pleasure."
Gaylia paused and looked at Aelystair sadly. She hesitated before simply saying, "Its not over yet." She looked back to see Aelystair's soldier watching them. "Are you coming? I would like to get to know you as well."
"No," Gaylia's face fell, only for am instant, before she fixed it with a smile. "Shall we go?" She turned and began walking away, not bothering to look behind her this time.
Gaylia smiled but ignored the comment."Where are we headed?" She turned and walked ahead of the two, turning around only to receive an answer.
"How come you can travel the woods freely yet I get reprimanded?" Gaylia emerged from the shadows. She had had every intention of returning to the inn for the night, but curiosity about the soldier had gotten the better of her. She eyed his new companion. There was an air of sophistication around him, and she could tell by his posture next to Aelystair that he wished to impress him. Gaylia smiled with a slow nod and then turned her attention back to Aelystair.
"Well Aelystair, It has been a pleasure to meet you, but I think..." Gaylia's words were cut off by the sound of breaking bottles and shouting. A drunk soldier was yelling incoherently and stumbling through the streets, a half full tankard in hand. When he caught sight of Aelystair he threw his arms up in the air and lost balance, falling right on his butt. Gaylia let out a snort and turned back to Aelystair. "I think I should be going."
