I'm looking to see if there's any interest in doing a fantasy roleplay set in a mid or high fantasy setting like D&D without dice. I would like to explore the concept of a pair of characters who have left their respective homes and due to the difficulties of the world have teamed up to try and become successful adventurers together. Whether or not they do is dependant on what we would want to happen with the story. I like playing out the gritty struggle that would actually lie with clearing out infestations of troglodytes or giant spiders for adventurers so I don't expect everything to go their way. I would also be happy to set this in an ancient or medieval setting, going from ancient Greece to the Medieval ages as popularly depicted by most fantasy stories.
I can generally manage a post once a week and can pump out two to three paragraphs per post at minimum. If we get heavy into dialogue I'll tone down the length and increase the tempo to average out so it doesn't get stale. I'm older than 21 and would appreciate playing with someone in the same age category, though if you lie and I can't tell the difference that's fine too. I would prefer to try a roleplay that doesn't focus on romance and instead focuses on the characters vs the world, and the camaraderie that helps them overcome obstacles. To that end I prefer playing male characters, but I don't care what you play for a character or what gender you are. Other than that I think the general rules concerning basic internet etiquette apply. I would like to do the roleplays over PM.
