On another note, I'm outa music. Anyone got some cool suggestions? My Itunes is filled with Rock/Metal/Dubstep/Hardstyle etc etc to get a feeling of my eclectic tastes. I'm just hoping the well hasn't dried up in my attempts to find all the music!

Why not just wing it off the top of your head, based on whatever our beloved cat-herding GM gives us, and just let yourself have some fun with it, yes? There's nothing to worry about at all, just invest whatever emotion you feel is best, whatever fits the scene or hell, whatever fits your mood, and there you go! Have a great time writing, and you've done all you need to do in an RP!

Ja, I suppose, and thanks. Just with what I consider my first really serious foray into advanced, and doing so with the intention of improving my writing I'm all 'Gotta do well, Gotta be awesome' at the moment. I've written a small intro that I'll be adding to based of the IC OP. Can't wait for this!

Oh, a quick question for everyone. I like to make my posts all neat and tidy and so I would like to format them so it's all centered and italicized. It's a little strange but I really like how it looks that way, the speech will be bold also. I just want to know if anyone has a problem with that in case it makes it difficult for them to read at all etc.

EDIT: In fact I might not center it all bar a small title to each post.

I need to learn that smart-assery XD I'm alright in fantasy settings because there is a lot you can describe but I think in circumstances like these it's hard not to repeat myself in terms of describing the surroundings.

Well FYI I've watched all the Alien films + Prometheus and other things around it (AVP and the like) so if anyone needs a little help feel free to ask although I'm sure Wiki will suffice. Getting excited for this now! Would the Navigator be with everyone in training? or could i potentially be a late-comer to the party? I'm just thinking that whilst everyone can have ties to one another a cool contrast could be one person who is new to the group, doesn't have to be me but I'm thinking someone like the pilot/navigator would eb most likely to get tacked on at the end.

Oh and I'm in England...for time zones and stuffs.

Haha thank you!, what I meant was I'm not a regular in the advanced section. I hope that doesn't impact my place in the RP. I'm confident I can write at an advanced standard, but it's more of a chore than simply fun so I don't do it often. I want to improve though so I have been looking for an RP of this Caliber to join, You all seem supremely comfortable at this level, meaning any and all constructive crit would be welcome :)

He swings his booted feet from the table to the floor, arms (real and not-so-much) stretching overhead with a satisfied groan as he feels that *pop* in his spine. He rises to his feet, glancing back down to Captain Pretorius with a helpless shrug before he turns to follow the doctor to yet another appointment - no matter he's not entirely sure the point of it. See this was fun to read! and I'm sure it was a less than 60 second off the top of your head thing. Whilst I would ponder, 'um' and 'ahh' over this for ages :P

Good, I was hoping as much. We can only get so far RP wise in a 2 year journey :P And great, thank you for pointing that out, I was a little cautious going for the Navigator but it's good to know, actually a little nervous that I'll be important to the beginning! :S I'm guessing once we are in the thick of it everyone will assume the same role of squishy human trying to survive anyway :P
