Soul listened to everyone speak as he kept his presence low, though he didn't have the strength to fully hide from them even if he wanted to he acted more of habit than anything. As he listened their voices rang out, screaming in his head. A random concussion would drum in his head. Some one jumped and was startled as the creeking board screamed in his head. His hand was trembling as he felt cold. His body temperature lowering. His mana reserves were, low and for some one who used magic to make up for having half of a soul, he looked drained of vitality.

He turned to look to lithy"The ghouls were cannon fodder. As monsters go they were weak," he stated though intending to reassure her his flat tone made it, hard to fully inturrpet. That said though at least to him it was the truth Even operating at the minimum as he had been he was able to overpower those gouls so he figured they were some low monster, they didn't even seem to have innate magic. He looked right back to Emelia before speaking again. "If I had to guess. They sent only disposable units in order to test our defenses. Get an adequate gauge of how secure we are and also to test who of us would be the biggest threats" he paused for a moment speaking. His eyes blinking rapidly, before closing for a moment and opening back up and continuing "We can only claim this as a minor victory, but If it wasn't for the select few who were able to act in the chaos this would have been much more of a massacre...." The light in the room was starting to burn at his eyes again, closing them before opening them up. A constant drone and ringing in his ears before he opened speaking "...but it would be safe to assume that our enemy has learned more from this than we did." he continued " I recommend we move forward with some plan of action, whether it be for cups with holes or some other thing. If all we do is react we will eventually be backed into a corner"

He "Steped back" again Rubbing his eyes he looked tired and aged. the light was starting to burn through his eyes lids. That ringing was growing louder as that humming and buzzing grew more and more intense. It hit him like a wall. He gritted his teeth, he couldn't maintain his senses anymore as they dropped down. It was like a concussion grenade went off inside his head. The world slowed down, everything got quiet and at the same time loud mixing together as his pupils fully opened up and light burned his eyes. He felt like he was going to vomit, he had kept his senses so high for such a prolonged period to suddenly dropdown. He focused as he was slowly adjusting to the world around him once more.
Soul spoke out returning to his normal way of speaking looking from Lithi over to Emelia as addressed her, his flat tone having that unnatural clarity that made it easy to hear as it even seemed like his presence in the room was more noticeable as he was speaking "If I may make a suggestion, I recommend we kill them, our the ability to trust them is low. More than likely they will simply be repeat combatants if let go. Reducing the number of potential threats would ensure the best chances of survival. Holding them could also be problematic depending on supplies and manpower. THough In truth I do not know enough of those things to make any strong judgment on the viability of holding captives." He finished his statement lowering his head to Emelia, as he "Step down" to clear the floor for others, his presence even seemed to fade back down.

after he finished speaking through Soul could feel his senses fading. He would need sleep and food soon. He had neglected them since he came to the school. Choosing to maintain himself with mana, but between evacuating, traveling to the manor, and now the attack. he was pushing near his limits. His hand gripped his sword, his breath was steady and controlled, though only thouse close to him would note any abnormal behaviour as he was was hiding his presance, making himself less noticeable to those at a distance from him. Those of already weak awareness even forgetting he was there.
Soul could hear voices all around, whispers as if they were right next to him, footsteps, he could smell the magic flowing through the building. He left his senses on high alert, keeping them empowered to watch the captives. The one who shared her scent was standing before him, answering his question, he looked down, it did appear magic was shared between them. He was silent for a moment he lifted his arms, twisting them around looking at them and tilting his head "I do not feel I would enjoy that. I find comfort in knowing my own actions" he said. He found the calm beat of the assassin suspicious, he couldn't help but wonder if they were like him. "Though knowledge of a constant companion. I can see the advantages of such an arrangement."

Though the interrogation with the assassins was picking up. He watched as the man cut off the fingers, the taunting of as he watched without reaction. He turned back to Lithy before him as her state started to change, her breathing altered as she was watching what happened. His head tilted to the side some as he looked at her. He wasn't sure what had caused it as he remembered someone who was helping him telling him what to do "Everything is fine" he said his voice tone actually shifting as he spoke softer than normal, and it didn't ring with the same somewhat unnatural clarity
Soul Turned to Emma as she spoke, Hearing her world is attention was suddenly grasped by Lithy, Her voice was wrong from what she had early. Her tone was also off as one hand found a hilt of his blade ready to draw. She changed again though, pausing for the moment he waited coiled, but in only a few moments he deemed the situation over. Though the way she was clutching at the cat he tilted his head..they seemed to share a scent. He was a bit confused by this but didn't think it was the time to ask about such things. Instead he turned to Emma directing his attention to her. With a polite bow of his head he spoke to her "I will work on gathering the assassins...I would ask any who can restrict others to assist with this as well" he said assuming those that had been here longer would know better who could do such a thing out of the people gathered at the mansion, as he at best only had a surface-level understanding of the magic they had from what he had only seen since arriving here. Using his shadow meld to get outside as quickly as possible he went to work, Pulling off any obvious weapons and patting them down. While other students were focusing on healing he decided to focus on the assassins. He could easily lift and carry their weight, dragging four of them at a time. Any that were starting to wake up, he would quickly knock them back out as he turned them over to the other students who were helping bind them up. WIth him and the other students, it didn't take long.

He felt he was much more limited in what he could do, His body was still flowing with magic, he senses were heightened as he kept an eye on the prisoners as he was leaving himself in a state of hyper-alertness. It was hard to sift through the noise, he could hear people in the next room perfectly fine, He was sifting through scents, familiarizing himself with the people around him as he looked almost like a guard sleeping standing up his eyes closed so he could focus on his other senses. Though he was still reacting, moving out of the way of rushing people who wearnt dating attention and didn't see him. But he was also starting to feel hungry. He could hear footsteps, picking up the scent of the one who shared it as his eyes opened up, he focused in on Lithy. "Why do you and that cat share a scent?" He asked her rather straightforwardly as he tilted his head "Also earlier it was as if another person spoke with your mouth. Is this a common occurrence for you, or is this a problem we should be wary of?" he asked. Standing closer he appeared like he was smaller than before he left to round up the attackers.
As Soul was still confused about what they were talking about the first of the bullets came flying through the wall. He could feel a shift as the world around them changed. His first instinct was to kill, to slaughter his opposition No that voice was faint in the back of his mind. Suddenly that creature was attacking the boy with two scents, but another window came crashing as another monster came Leaping towards the group Protect them!, that voice whispered to him. As that monster lept towards them, he lept after it. As it got closer he spun, lifting up his leg as it collided with the face of that monster, the force of that kick caved in its face, its body crumpled as it reversed directions and was sent flying back out that window to skip along the ground outside.

These monsters at least for now seemed mostly physically bassed. More were coming in, leaping in the next came after him. Its movements were slow, at least to soul they were, it came in with a knarled maw with rows of teeth. Before it could register though, it had crumpled down as Soul punched it, he Grabbed its head under his arm. He Tensed, with a squeeze and a jerk there was a crutch and pop. For good measure Soul walked forward bending it back and pulling ripping its head from its shoulder. As another was about to come in. It suddenly screamed and was hurling back that field launching it out.

He could hear screams, the scratching of claws...he could smell blood. "more have entered the building. We must gather ourselves and prepare a counterattack." his voice was flat and calm as ever. Though his veins had a slight magical glow to them. His already athletic and toned build seemed slightly more pronounced as magic flowed through him.

"I can only heal myself if any can heal others attend to him." he said as he walked over to his bag. He pulled it open, pulling out a set of swords he pulled back the belt, snapping it around his waist so they were on either side of his waist. He pulled out a large hunting knife as well. Reaching behind himself as it hooked onto his jeans. "Who will accompany me?" he asked looking to the group
Sat watching the ritual happening before him. He found the use of blood as a power source interesting, he even wondered if that is how his own magic worked. After all, while he could easily control the flow of magic in his own body he had trouble pushing forcing it out as the others seemed to do. Though also others seemed to radiate magic, while his own flowed through his veins. If she could use blood to perform magic, he also wondered what she could do with his own magic-infused blood. He believed it was something worth exploring if he was to be of more use to those around him.

As time drifted on and he sat there in his own mind, he neither fidgeted nor moved. Almost looking like a statue as he kept that neutral appearance on his face. Soon though Ivy was back into their world and speaking to them. Though, she spoke in a way that confused Him. The context of the words was lost on him, and some of them he didn't quite know. Ignorance was no the bliss people kept saying it was. But the boy who seemed to have two scents made the most sense to him, not the two scents part, that kind of confused him, but a mission. A mission was a concept he understood.

"I agree...having a course of action is desirable," he stated. "We must find this Grail with holes...but why do we need to Harm Ivy with plates...I do not see how hurting her with plates helps in any way. No matter how glorious said plates maybe...also why must they be plates for the use of Sushi?" He wasn't fully sure what sushi was, but he did know it was some kind of food made from fish.
It had only been a few months since Soul found his way to the school. Well since the school found him. The first few days were a transition. He had never seen so many people gathered in one place, all of the scents and sounds were almost overwhelming. But also he felt peace, despite all the chaos of this place. He felt a peace had never known. Interacting with people was something different, however. Those that could feel others, empaths they were called, and spiritualists that could read auras seemed to be the most unnerved by him. He had heard the empaths talk about how they didn't like always feeling emotions...but then feeling nothing from him seemed to bother them even more. Those that saw auras tended to stay away from him as well. He wasn't surprised and felt it best to simply allow them the space they wanted. Preferring instead to allow others to approach him.

He also enjoyed the routine of it all. Starting his day, usually before the sun rose with training. Then he had lessons, the teachers weren't too keen on fully integrating him just yet, he had more to learn they thought. He could speak, but his understanding was limited, and he could only just barely read and write. He could perform basic math, but anything more advanced was lost on him as he was only taught what others deemed necessary, which wasn't much. During physical events and training he mixed with the rest of the students, he enjoyed it, the rules were straight forward things were regimented. He spent most of his time after scheduled events in the library. It was quiet and peaceful, and he could read the books to practice his reading more. A few students had even started to warm up to him.

Sitting in the library late at night as he didn't sleep as much as most people, and it was only a light sleep at that. The quiet was suddenly disturbed, he could hear movement. Panicked footsteps, looking up he scanned the room. The air was starting to feel heavy, the hair on his arms stood up as. Though all the scents of smells of this place, one was starting to rise up. The growing sense of Fear becoming palpable.

Soul Walked up what everyone was calling Black Hill Top. He was with one of the last groups of stragglers, most of them seemed exhausted. He walked with bags upon bags pilled onto him, his feet sunk into the ground with each step. Despite the weight, he didn't look tired, and it even looked as if the others were having trouble keeping pace with him. "Please Keep up, we have almost arrived" There were a group of students in front, talking to an old man. He could hear some of what heard said, even from the distance as he approached "thank you" "thanks". Once they felt they were safe behind the barriers they were taking their bags from him. He nodded to them, hearing the relief in their voices. He looked at the building in front of them. Only a few were still outside, some walked past him as he took in a deep breath. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, the scents of magic permeated from this place, His eyes opened, an ethereal glow behind them as he looked about, the night turned to day, the scent of magic came alive to him as he could hear that constant humming of it all. Exhaling the light dimmed away.

"What can I do?" He spoke as he approached closer to those who remained. His voice was soft, his tone flat. Despite that, it carried well. His words spoke with unnatural canter and cadence as it seemed like he was making sure he was speaking correctly. There was a Pause before he spoke again, "I would like to be of Service."

Realistically he could be hundreds of years old cause he isn't really "Alive" he doesn't really age either. He was never born. He was made, he has always looked the way he does. Then he spent a lot of years being trained and let out to do jobs. But he had no real sense for a passage of time. Honestly was thinking more he lives with Anatole, who kind of found him and decided to shelter him, so not a student. As he does sort of lack social skills and any sense of how people behave so throwing him in school might be a bad idea. Partly I wasn't too sure about how I wanted to approach the age, having him much older than he looks, but sheltered so naive. Or he could also the route of being much younger than he looks.
