Hiya, I'm Blitz. I'm oddly eclectic. I love football and drinking shenanigans, but I am equally a huge nerd and love writing and RPing too. Genres I prefer generally depend on my current mood, but I tend to prefer RPs about college/sports, gangs, mild and dark fantasy, realistic/modern/slice of life, post-apocalyptic, futuristic... I could be convinced to do anything if you're good enough at arguing honestly.
I think I'll also put a bunch of my characters' quotes here because what better describes a person than the things they say? (Or rather, things my characters have said... Tee-hee)
The same character has cropped up in different niverses (or the same, at a different time), by the way.
“I guess I should've remembered that you easily get cut on broken glass.”
"Your tongue definitely strikes faster than a blitzing cornerback though."
“No, I think I'll keep you on your toes my little succubus.”
“Oh, shit. I need a mint. Coffee gives you reaper breath.”
“Are you trying to elope or something?”
“It could be a complete dead end, but on the other hand, whatever has managed to kill four men in one week with almost no trace except for an inhuman piece of fur could be lurking there, waiting for the two only detectives who have a lead to stupidly wander right into its claws.”
“I bet I look great in this.”
“If I ever got ahold of that crystal, I'd make you a better dancer.”
“The one? How much have you been drinking?”
“I need a cigarette immediately.”
“Hazel, this is getting… Whew, is it hot in here? Wow!”
“I’ll make some sunscreen bottles filled with alcohol.”
“This is tequila, sweetie, SPF 50. I don’t know if you’re quite big-boy enough to drink this.”
“I’m drunk but I’m not stupid enough to let a wee freshman get to me anyways."
“Oh nothing, you’re just a bit of a tool is all.”
“There’s nothing better than chilling in a hot tub with a drink in your hand and a beautiful lady at the disposal of the other.”
“Well, I'm certainly very sorry about almost pissing you off.”
“I'm sorry about this babe, but no one screws over Angel McBride... You'd be such a good addition, it'd be a shame if I had to kill you right here.”
"Consider this a fee for using the... VIP entrance.”
“I am a Lost One, but I’m not, like, their most active or dangerous member or anything.”
Omg I accidentally took a nap! D:
My homework shouldn't take me that long though. Expect a CS by the end of today.
Alright, I finished!
Name: Pierce Tarantino
Nickname: None.
Age: 17
Species: Human
Gender: Male
: i.e. your typical sports jock. Tall, strong build, etc.
Personality: Pierce has an inflated ego and is very confident in himself and what he does. While a normal amount of self esteem is healthy, Pierce has it in excess. He finds it humors to pick on others and, really, doesn’t feel much of anything about it. His intention isn’t always to hurt per se, but simply to get others to chuckle at him. Despite his rather bro-ish disposition, he is actually pretty smart, though he doesn’t like to showcase this quality. He is a critical thinker, and excellent at analyzing situations swiftly, which is why he’s so good at playing sports, especially football.
Bio: Pierce is the first child of Mark and Jasmine Tarantino, and the older brother of Destiny Tarantino, age 15. His father works as a physical therapist and personal trainer, and his mother, a nurse.
Pierce always liked sports as a kid. He played his fair share of soccer, little-league baseball, basketball, football, and even lacrosse. When he got to high school, he decided to join the school sports team. It’s hard to balance with his schoolwork, but he somehow manages to get by. He’s good but he’s not the best, hence he doesn’t think he’ll play any of these sports in college, at least, not D-1.
Family: Mark Tarantino (father), Jasmine Tarantino (mother), Destiny Tarantino (younger sister)
Friends: Jake Campbell (from football), Andre Smith (also from football)
Loved Ones: Apart from his closest friends and family, none.
Sentimental Attachment: None. He just broke up with his last girlfriend.
Other: Nothing that I can think of right now.
...Hopefully that title wasn't weird enough to scare you away.
About Me
Thank the lord for BB Code. That heading is awesome.
Ahem. Anyway...
Hi! My name is Blitz. I've been roleplaying for maybe six years? I actually can't remember exactly when I started roleplaying. I know. Sad. Six years (or so) sounds like a long time, but trust me, I'm not exactly a seasoned novelist. In fact, I'd say my writing is mediocre at best. At times, yes, I can have a burst of inspiration and really get the creative juices flowing, but more often than not, I sit comfortably in the casual section.
Some other things you should know:
I'm a boy.
I'm best at playing a male, but I've plenty of experience playing gals too.
I'm completely fine with doubling up. It's kind of fun actually. (In a roleplay I'm in now, I'm in charge of... 2 main characters, 4 secondary characters, and a slew of extra characters.)
I live in the Eastern Standard timezone.
I like threads, but am willing to compromise if that makes you cringe.
I only do MxF pairings if we're talking romance. Non-romantic MxM and FxF pairings are A-okay.
I prefer to play from ages 16-20ish. Depending on the roleplay, though, this might not be possible. The reason for this is because I'm around this age range as well and would therefore give the best writing for someone in the age group as well.
I tend to type too fast for my own good and make some innocent spelling mistakes. I usually type up my posts in Word before putting them here, but sometimes, accidents happen. Anyway, if you're super-duper crazy about spelling, I'd recommend you suppress that quality if you wish to roleplay with me. I promise the mistakes aren't anything crazy, though. This is mostly just a disclaimer.
What else... Damn it. I always feel like I'm forgetting something important.
Oh, I remember.
Yeah, so, I'm generally alright with swearing, violence, drugs, perhaps a touch of gore (I'm reading a book about a child soldier right now, actually). As for romance, I prefer to fade to black, but that's mostly because I'm mature enough to admit I'm too immature to act out mature scenes (???). To summarize, I'm not exactly 'no-limits.' Maybe if I feel comfortable with you, and you're a very convincing character, you may persuade me to do otherwise.
Speaking of romance, it's nice when a roleplay has it. It doesn't need to be 100% centered around it, but those hormones definitely add a little more oomph to the character development.
As for my schedule, my availability can be somewhat sporadic. I'm most free on the weekends, and during the week my free time varies inversely with the amount of work I have. But keep in mind that, if I'm in a roleplay, I will log on more than if I'm just lurking. This is especially true if I really like the story. As you can see from my post count, I can get on average two posts a day. So, make of that what you will.
Please, please, please, please, please, please, please don't just disappear/stop responding to the roleplay. It's a serious buzzkill. If you want to stop, just tell me! I hold no grudges, and I will do the same with you. Now if the only object that has internet access you have suddenly explodes, I can understand that telling me you won't be around isn't possible. But if you can, just let me know if you want to stop or if you'll be busy.
In OOC, I tend not to bother with grammar rules. But rest assured I never, ever, let my roleplaying quality slip.
I love when my partners surprise me or suggest ideas!
But be respectful. You can decline my ideas and I can decline yours. We don’t want to cross any boundaries.
Please keep in mind I can only do so many roleplays at one time. If I get involved in too many, I’ll have to decline you. But if things open up again, I might come back to you! (If you’re still up for it. Thanks for understanding though.)
Wow. That was wordier than I thought. I haven't even gotten into the plots yet. Sorry if I bored you to sleep with that. Okay, just one more thing before we get to the exciting stuff. I promise!
What I'm Looking For
Someone who isn't too... serious. Personality-wise as well as roelplaying-wise. We're here to have fun, after all.
Related to the previous point, there's no need to be nervous or anything around me! I'n an idiot and love to joke around, so I hope you're okay with that. :D
Tell me about yourself. The most important character you can develop is... wait for it... yourself!
I don't really care what gender you are, in relation to what gender you play, as long as you know what you're doing. I've played with guys who play girls and girls who play guys.
Just... do the best you can do.
Oh, and don't be a dumbass. :-)
Ideas & Pairings
Told you that was the last thing! Okay, ideas... Well, I guess I should start with the fact that I am not too big on doing fandoms. I'm not completely against doing them, but you'd have to really convince me with a good plot. If you have an absolute burning desire for something related to Naruto, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, or Avatar; and you want me to be a part of that, then tell me. I just expect you to have a plot already in mind. Capiche? (On a side note, someone told me once that one responds to capiche with 'caposh.' I don't think that's a thing, though.)
Okay, on to the exciting stuff!
I've actually done a roleplay about gangs before. It was actually really enjoyable. For an idea like this, we could do a setting in the past (I guess that'd be around the 20's or 30's). However, I personally like making the setting in some distant future where the world is more impoverished, with there being small, very affluent areas (meaning, the gap between the rich and poor is astronomical). I don't have any ideas set in stone, mainly because there are so many different possibilities for this. Could it be rich girl x gangster boy? Perhaps, two gang leaders belonging to opposing gangs (romance? Romeo and Juliet? What?). Maybe even two new recruits who had to join a gang for safety, but need to protect each other from the batshit-crazy senior members. I'm very flexible here. Feel free to suggest as well.
Like the previous idea, this is also pretty flexible, pairings-wise. Though, I'd both like our characters to be students. Some people thing high school plots are somewhat disinteresting, but I think there can be a lot of potential if you have the right pairing or conflict. A few ideas could be... popular girl x aloof dude; shy girl x popular girl (i.e. she makes her popular. this would probably require doubling up); shy dude x popular dude (similar concept to before. Maybe the shy dude joins a sports team)… Again, I’m open to suggestions as well.
Actually, for the shy x popular MM FF pairings, both of those roles could be assumed by one player. Then, the second player can be another popular person that the shy character meets at a party, etc. It’s up to you.
Similar to high school, but with perhaps a tad more potential. Characters can have a history, cliques/popularity isn’t as important, etc… Same pairings as before, but again, suggest if you can think of something!
Yeah, this isn’t really concrete by any means, but I was kinda craving a plot with a sexy female assassin in medieval times who can only make a living off of her job, only because she’s good at what she does. (After all, girls didn’t really have much in that time. Either you got married, inherited land, or became a nun.) As for who she’s paired with… that’s flexible. It could be one of her clients, or even someone she was assigned to kill but… love comes in the way. The latter sounds silly, I know, but just bear with me.
I can play either role too. And as always, suggest if you can!
So yeah. I know none of these are complete plot ideas, but that’s because I like to be flexible and build a plot together. If you see something you like, or if you have an idea that you’d think I’d be a good match for, reply here or send me a PM. See you around!
Rhea was stunned to see that even more Heartless were beginning to appear. They came from just about everywhere in this strange cityscape; though they did appear to be weakened to an extent. Some were missing various limbs or appeared smaller than the normal size for Shadows. They might, in turn, be easier to fight and defeat, but Rhea, despite her cockiness, wasn't sure how much more of this she could take. For a few moments, she simply swung her weapon defensively and kept her distance from the converging enemies.
Right when she thought they'd be overwhelmed, a voice called out from the ground floor of a nearby building. A man's voice informed them that they'd be safer inside. The woman who had stood at the head of the group earlier then turned back to shout at them to go inside.
"Thanks," Rhea grumbled, still twirling her weapon. Obviously she wasn't too keen on taking orders from anyone. "Like I didn't hear the guy myself."
Rhea began to head carefully for the door, keeping one eye on the large amount of Heartless surrounding the others. Rhea knew she wouldn´t be the Heartless' only target, but it was very possible they'd go for her, and she was too busy to pay attention to how badly the others may be wounded. When she was a few feet away, a Shadow jumped high into the air toward her.
"Get out of my way!" she shouted, slapping it away with her chain, but not destroying it. Not like that mattered, though, because that bought her enough time to quickly dash inside the door into safety. She pushed her way past the rest of the people who had made it in and stood in the back, as always, talking a look around her. Not exactly her choice in décor, but whatever. Sensing her safety, her chain sickle evaporated into sparkling light.
She crossed her arms. What now?
I started roleplaying when I was in sixth grade. I always loved writing. I was on another website (not an RP website, mind you), and I was scrolling through the forums and always say this section called "Roleplaying," though I never paid it much attention. Then one day, on a whim, I clicked on it and figured out that roleplaying was (other than playing roles, duh) essentially writing but with partners. Anyone, like I said, the site wasn't dedicated to RP'ing, so the forum was pretty slow, and someone posted there saying "I'm leaving this forum, I found this new site that's so much cooler...."
So yeah. As for the "why"... I dunno. I like writing.
¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
Rhea bit her lip, still keeping her eyes locked on the little Shadow that had left her arm feeling more like it had suffered a second-degree burn than a little scratch. She swallowed the pain momentarily and attempted to use her gradually worsening anger to sharpen her focus. Her sole goal was to finish it off as quickly as possible.
Then, the Shadow did something that Rhea had been too busy to notice the other Shadows were doing. Out of nowhere, the Shadow’s body became two-dimensional as its entire body melted into the earth. Rhea gasped and instinctively threw the blunt end of her chain out toward the living shadow, but it uselessly clanged against the ground, leaving the Shadow unscathed. The Shadow sensed this moment of vulnerability and rushed forward her, still flat. With a grunt, Rhea tried to bring her chain back as fast as she could, but by the time it was back in her grasp, the sneaky Heartless had slipped underneath her feet and behind her.
Rhea had only the time to turn ninety degrees before the Shadow sprung forward and latched itself onto her bare calf. It didn’t scratch her, but just the monster’s touch burnt with malevolence, even coming from such a small creature. Rhea stared down at it for a fleeting moment, and it looked back up at her, without any expression whatsoever. Inside those glowing yellow eyes, Rhea saw beyond just the manifestation of darkness… She saw another incomplete being, just like her. They had that in common… though this Heartless was incomplete in a way that was different from how she was.
She smirked at the irony. Heartless was a misnomer. In reality, she was the one who lacked a heart.
With her free leg, she kicked at the Shadow’s fingers so its grip loosened. She then kicked her leg forward, sending the Shadow sprawling into the air. Instead of using her typical mid-range attacks, Rhea gripped her sickle at its handle and jumped up into the air as well, right in front of the Heartless, and sliced straight through it using the sharp end. Instead of reforming, the Shadow burst into a puff of glittering purple and black smoke before eventually fading away.
Good thing, too. Rhea would’ve thrown a tantrum if that hadn’t finished it off.
She landed gracefully on her sandaled feet and let out a small sigh, fixing some loose locks of hair.
“Pity. I was hoping for a little more entertainment.” Saucy as always, despite the pain in her arm that was beginning to rear its ugly head again. She grit her teeth and dropped the chain from her right hand to place it over the wound.
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed one of the group running away. She didn’t even know them, but she couldn’t help but feel a little betrayed as well as bitter. Just then, another group of Shadows came from a nearby alley to reinforce their comrades.
Rhea shut her eyes and forced a smile.
“Y’all are really testing me today.”
