I like to think that I have a healthy amount of self-esteem, but I absolutely cannot generate original writing ideas without thinking they're trash and uninteresting

Hiya, I'm Blitz. I'm oddly eclectic. I love football and drinking shenanigans, but I am equally a huge nerd and love writing and RPing too. Genres I prefer generally depend on my current mood, but I tend to prefer RPs about college/sports, gangs, mild and dark fantasy, realistic/modern/slice of life, post-apocalyptic, futuristic... I could be convinced to do anything if you're good enough at arguing honestly.

I think I'll also put a bunch of my characters' quotes here because what better describes a person than the things they say? (Or rather, things my characters have said... Tee-hee)

A little bit of color flushed Charlotte's face as Mr. Hersker, appearing much too jumpy tonight, got on one knee and grabbed her hand like some kind of... Romeo. He asked her what was wrong and Charlotte shook her head, though her hand was trembling.

"N-No," she replied with a small stutter. "You appear to be a little anxious; that's why I asked."

Then the mortician stood up, slid his drink over to her, and ran off again to God-knows-where. She still didn't need that second drink, but it'd be a waste just to leave it there... What was she to do? As if God was answering her unconscious prayer, someone else sat down next to her, filling Archie's vacant seat. It looked to be... Simon? Er, no... Simion! If she wasn't mistaken, this chap was new to the town as well.

"Yes, that's me indeed," Charlotte replied when he questioned her identity.

He proceeded to introduce himself and confirm that yes, he was new to Sand Flats as well. Charlotte's memory was working well, though she was quite surprised she could remember his name and a bit of his backstory.

Then he complimented her, causing her to giggle a little bit though politely so.

"Why, thank you, Mr...—" She paused and in the split second forgot his last name. "Mr. Simion. What a flattering compliment. Here..." She slid Archie's drink over to him casually. "Why don't you have this as a reward for such chivalry, on me." Charlotte was glad to be rid of that drink anyways; she took a sip from her own.
@Voltus_Ventus Sorry for leaving you hanging in that awkward silence there for a bit since I didn't respond very quickly, but it looks like you got around it. Just thought I'd say sorry about that anyway ^^;

Working on a post now!

Well, actually, I'm reading then I'm posting
aaaand I posted too :D
"I'll certainly keep an eye on that drink of yours," Charlotte replied to Mr. Hersker as he got up and left in a considerable hurry. At least she had something to do now other than just drink. She took this moment to nonchalantly gaze around Lady Rose's saloon. Nothing seemed too out of the ordinary: the rough men, the well-dressed women—well, some looking more classy than others. However, Charlotte couldn't help but pick up on something fishy. Or maybe that was the alcohol. Or the stress. She sighed; whatever. She still had that gun strapped onto her thigh if she needed it, so why worry?

Archie reentered the saloon and Charlotte threw him a gentle smile, but he instead went straight to Lady Rose, leaned over the bar, and whispered something to her.

Charlotte held her drink in her hands and took another small sip.

"That's the last time I do something for someone," she muttered, but then she chuckled at herself. It's not like she needed that second drink anyway.

"You know," she called out to Mr. Hersker and Lady Rose. "I am the Sheriff, in case you might've forgotten that little fact. If there's a bit of trouble I could help y'all out." Though deep down, she kinda didn't want to. She came here to escape her duties for a bit, but she simply felt compelled to offer.
I could, but I wouldn't be sure what to write exactly. can't just have charlotte have a psychic epiphany as to what's going on
i kinda want those 10 thousand smackeroonis too
Charlotte looked at Lady Rose as she merely repeated her adjective of choice, then at Mr. Hersker who claimed he'd label the saloon as lively. The sheriff only shrugged, her silent way of saying 'to each his own.' Charlotte continued to sip on her beverage and observed Lady Rose serving Archie his rum and ice as he began to inquire the other man about the card game. Meanwhile, another man approached the patroness and spoke to her in a low voice.

Charlotte sighed, though mostly with relief. She was a natural loner. Well, perhaps not a natural one, but she sure as well was more used to being on her own than being social. For a brief second, she considered getting up and talking to Pete for a bit, but this momentary lapse in the conversation was much too rare for Charlotte not to savor. With another sip from her glass, she already began to feel an old though not unfamiliar sensation in the back of her mind.

Sweet Jesus, she thought with a frown as she placed her glass back on the bar. It's hittin' me already? It really has been a while. Take your time, Char. Need to keep your wits about you.
I think I'll make a post when hoppi does because at the moment I don't know how much content I can squeeze if I tried to reply to the Sheriff.

no problem!
Charlotte watched with reserved curiosity the man who had, until then, been playing with his deck of cards by himself. However, he soon offered to play a round with the others around him; Charlotte had to assume the invitation wasn't extended to her. What did women know about poker? Well, this woman certainly knew how to gamble, but she had come to the Sandy Rose to partake in only sin at a time: drinking. She grabbed the drink that had been placed in front of her and took a slow sip from it, enjoying the soft sting it produced while going down her throat.

I forgot how good the Devil's nectar tastes, Charlotte thought as she gazed at her glass with an amused smile.

It looked like more and more men were entering the saloon, most of them entering loudly and demanding a drink. One came by and introduced himself to the group, asking to watch. Charlotte nodded to him but kept quiet. Then, another man plopped himself down next to her and greeted her. Charlotte turned her head and saw it was the town's mortician, one of the less... er, salty folk living in Sand Flats.

"Well, a good evening to you, Mr. Hersker," Charlotte replied politely. "I didn't know so many of the townsfolk and so many strangers frequented this place. It's..." She stopped and looked around her. "Quaint." Lady Rose certainly did have a lot of customers and the saloon itself looked to be kept in good shape, but as sheriff, Charlotte wondered how comfortable Lady Rose was with having all these brusque-looking strange men wandering around. But she supposed business was business, and Lady Rose didn't seem to mind it at all.
working on a post right now

Edit: ok, it's up! and i refreshed before posting :D

Edit edit: and I found a picture that kinda looks how I imagined Charlotte. Not too sexy or anything but it's still a halloween costume >_<
