𝓐ge Lord Luthor Tyrell was born in Highgarden in 225 AC – the first son to Lord Tyrell and his wife. 𝓡ulership Luthor has ruled Highgarden and The Reach for the past thirteen years when his father passed away in his sleep. Luthor's rulership has been firm, though some would argue that Luthor has a lack of wit that makes diplomacy a little challenging. Critics of Luthor would call him an abrasive oaf while allies would consider him a strong and firm leader albeit with his shortcomings. 𝓡eputation and 𝓑ackground Lord Luthor Tyrell is the current ruler of The Reach. The grandson of Leo “Longhorn” Tyrell, Luthor has had a lot of expectations placed upon him from his father and distant relatives – and that's without taking into account the people of the Mander. Luthor has been often described as short-sighted and impulsive. Though these assertions are exaggerations of some level, they are not entirely incorrect. Luthor is one of the first in a long line of Tyrell lords who doesn't comprehend the greater scheme of planning and court intrigue, preferring rather to deal with a problem head-on and to negotiate with no pretenses or lies. This pigheadedness and blunt point-of-view is not unique to Luthor; his younger brother Garth is similar in many ways with some courtiers mentioning that he's actually more obstinate and coarse than Luthor is. This aside, Luthor isn't unintelligent; though he is most certainly less astute than his other siblings. But that much goes without saying given Gormon is in service of The Citadel and Moryn is considering extending his service to Lord Hightower – a man Moryn has served dutifully since he became his squire some ten or so years ago.

Awesome stuff I'm rusty on my Reachmen, is Luthor a canon character or of your own design? I've started putting pieces together for my own character Lucerys Velaryon, but probably won't be able to post it until sunday at the earliest since I'm currently without my laptop.

@Joytex I don't suppose there's any chance we could get the character form layout before the OOC goes up so we can be working on characters while you're finishing that off is there?

@Heat I don't think so. So far we have Maelys, Maegor, the Hand, the Tyrells, myself (whoever that ends up being) and a couple of miscellaneous Ladies.

I've been thinking of playing as the husband of Vhaelle Targaryen, possibly having been married into one of the other Valyrian houses in Westeros such as House Velaryon or House Celtigar, to create a legitimate claim for the throne from a house of Valyrian blood. Both houses are quite small, but I did think that after the death of the Targaryens that House Velaryon would probably claim Dragonstone and use that as a base to build their claim. Thoughts?

Hello, Guild!

Introductions never were my strong point, so let's get this over with shall we? Hello good guys and gals of the Guild, my name is Blitzy. While I am new to this site, I have been participating across various forums for a few years now. In all honesty I'm amazed and somewhat disappointed with myself that it's taken so long for me stumble upon this one. In terms of roleplays I'm fairly open. I absolutely love Game of Thrones and Star Wars, but don't like to limit myself exclusively to these two fandoms. You won't catch me taking part in a school RP or anything (no offence to those that do, I've read some awesome ones, just not to my taste) but I'm open to pretty much anything of the fantasy/sci-fi/historical type. So, thankfully that's the end of my slightly awkward hello and I hope to get writing with some of you soon.
