Avery continued to snore happily, her mind drifted too far to be brought back. Well at least she thought. Just like every morning, she had the sheets ripped off her. Just like every morning she was shouted out of bed, and groggily got ready. She got in her usual attire all black, black pants, black shirt but this time with a red leather jacket. Wilhelm waited at the kitchen table, his finger tapping the wood impatiently. Minutes later, she sat at the table with Wilhelm. Stuffing food into her mouth.
"Dance is tomorrow right?" Wilhelm squeezed in softly.
"Yeah, so?"
"You going?"
"Depends."
It was a deadpan conversation, like most of their conversations. Once done they gave each other awkward nods, and Avery was off. Backpack slung lazily over her shoulder, and her phone out in front of her. Earphones stuffed safely into her ears. Eventually she was at school wandering the halls.
