Serena continued watching the slaughter when Gwen snapped her out of it, pulling her back closer to the group. Everyone was agreeing that they needed to escape before they all met the same fate as the soldiers. Serena didn't want to fight anyone but she couldn't stand and watch any more soldiers die. Things were getting way out of hand. Who were these people? How could anyone do such a terrible thing? The whole thing was too much for Serena. An hour ago she had been an innocent farm girl, the closest thing to death she'd ever experienced was her pet goldfish dying. She'd spent an entire week locked in her room after that. Now, she didn't even know how to react. Serena's whole body was shaking and she had to lean on Gwen for support.

"How..." She whispered. "How can we leave these people to die? There has to be a way we can save them without violence or running away." Despite the terrible event, Serena still felt fighting wasn't the answer. If heroes used violence to destroy villains, how could they ever expect things to get better?

Ooc:may I join this? I sent you a convo with a really short discription of my character...and ice elemental

Welcome! :)
"So, who was cuter. Me or Ezra? I can show you a second time if you didn't get a good look before," Varric said, before winking dramatically. Damn. Why is it so easy to mess with me? Guinevere hated that petty things like this bothered her. Anyone could just strip naked on the battlefield and Guinevere would be dead or seriously injured within seconds. The more she thought about it, the more it ticked her off. Everyone had their weaknesses, she knew that, but why was hers so foolish? Sighing, she decided to drop it. Besides, there was a little bard needed a good kick in the head.

"Varric, you're so dead," She warned, half serious, half joking. Guinevere would never hurt Varric, they both knew that. Now, did that mean she wouldn't jab him in the stomach later? Of course it didn't. She couldn't help but grin at the thought.

"He's not coming with us." Aldric called out, snapping Guinevere back to reality. She had been so focused on Varric, she hadn't even noticed Aldric was beginning to follow the tracks. Alixanna was missing. There was no time for child's play, they had a mission to carry out. The original plan had both Aldric and Varric a part of it. While she didn't exactly want to spend an entire journey with Varric poking fun at her, Alixanna was more important.

"Hold up," She called after Aldric. Guinevere knew ahead of time that getting them to work together would be difficult. "Aldric, Whether you choose to believe it or not, Varric will be a huge help on this mission. For Alixanna's sake, I hope both of you learn to work together," She proclaimed before heading up toward Aldric, not even glancing back to see if Varric followed. There wasn't any more time to argue, and if Varric didn't want to attend, well there was no forcing him to do anything. Guinevere could only hope.
After Phil left, Serena glanced around the room, examining everyone's faces. Could these people eventually come to be her friends? Spending her whole life on a farm, the only friends she had come to acquire were her parents and all the animals they looked after. Maybe for the first time (in foreverrrrr), she'd have real people to call her friends. The thought sounded exciting and filled her up with hope. Serena couldn't help but grin.

It wasn't until screams of pain and torture echoed into the room did the smile leave Serena's face. Something was terribly wrong. Without giving it much thought, Serena was first to step out of their hiding spot and witness the complete horror occurring outside. Renegades were dropping by the second, most of them dead. Serena felt her heart ripped out of her chest and thrown across the room, shattering into a million pieces. This wasn't right. How could this be happening? Tears cascaded down her pale face. A man laying on the ground nearby coughed out blood. While Serena's whole body was shaking, she managed to sit next to him.

"I'm so sorry," She cried out. There had to be something she could do to help him. Why was she so useless? Without even checking his pulse, Serena knew he was moments from death. This poor man, what had he done to deserve death? What had any of them done? Tears continued to fall down her face. All she wanted to do was help him, help all of them. Serena felt something warm in her stomach, as if something was giving her the answer. Putting her hands in front of his body, Serena willed plants to carefully cover his wounds and after pausing for a moment, had them return to the Earth. The man slowly started breathing normally and his wounds eventually disappeared. She had done it, she had healed him!

The man grunted and thanked her before running off to where Serena didn't know. Wiping away her tears, Serena looked around. Only this time, she finally saw who was murdering people. She may of found out how to heal people, but could she actually fight against another being?
I'm sorry too but I think I'm going to drop as well. Good luck in the future though :)
I'll have a post up tomorrow. :)
"You've come prepared, very well. It's not that I prefer to be alone you know, it just always seems to end up that way. We WILL find her," Aldric said determined. Guinevere couldn't help but smile. Picking Aldric to be apart of Alixanna's rescue team was a great choice. Originally, she had planned for Varric, Aldric and herself to all work together but just the two of them would work fine.

Guinevere was about to suggest they follow the tracks when flower petals magically fluttered around, taking shape of the last person she wanted to see at the moment. Varric. What is he doing here?

"Indeed, we must find her. I do not know Alixanna very well, but she is well beloved by the village, and I have seen many a dour face as I searched for beautiful Guinevere earlier. It was...disturbing, to see so many sad and scared people. I want to help fix it," Varric said, showing a rare side of himself. Most people of the village thought of him as a prankster, rude and uncaring. Yet somewhere deep, deep, deep down was a selfless version of himself, someone who cared, and was compassionate. It was the reason why Guinevere was his best friend.

"Also, Gwen. You should learn to knock before entering my room in the morning. I'm not exactly a prude, and many travelers have caught an interest in the Bard's mystique. I'm amazed it took this long for you to accidentally pop in. No doubt Mom's already writing an epic ballad about the encounter." Guinevere felt her face flame at the mention of her embarrassing moment this morning. Rather than running away, Guinevere grabbed her sword before Varric could even blink and gracefully swung in it front of his throat.

"You were saying, Varric?" She asked daring him to reply, although she was almost positive he would.
"No shit Sherlock," Sylvia rolled her eyes, following after Paige. She ignored Slyvia's comment and continued walking into the old lady's house. Looking around the poorly lighted room, Paige wasn't surprised to find the place filled with mysterious items, most of which were magic. Who was this old lady and her supposedly talking cat? From their 'conversation', it seemed like the cat had brought them all here for a reason. Why mention sky dragon magic too? It was a stretch but Paige wondered if they knew what happened and why she couldn't remember the first seven years of her life.

"I'm... really starting to not like this. I kind of want to just turn back... but, I also want to see what's next!" Kassy whispered to the other two.

"That's what I'm talking about," Paige grinned and winked at her.

The old lady then preceded to mess with some bottles and placed a peculiar hat on her head."Yes yes, I see the correlation now. That doesn't prove anything, you could have been spying on them for awhile now, and made this hat specifically for the occasion." the woman spoke to the cat as the cat came out from hiding behind the cauldron.Spying on us? Paige was fairly sure that she would of known if anyone was smiling on her with her dragon sense of smell. The cat strutted towards the old lady, coming to a stop by her feet and sitting next to her. "Well... now that everyone is here... any questions?"

"Any questions?" Paige almost laughed "Here's one, what the hell is going on?" Right as Paige asked the question, her nose picked up several familiar scents. Members of the guild were standing outside the old lady's door. "Wait a minute. What are they doing here?" She asked out loud.

@GingerBoi123 Awesome, I'm looking forward to that post. I'm glad you two haven't abandoned this RP. :)
@GingerBoi123 I don't mean to be pushy but do you have any plans to move this RP along? I feel like we kind of keep talking about the same stuff and posts are becoming less frequent. I'm really excited to see what the anti-Hygorns do.
