Fei

Oh how Fei wanted to blaze Jessie alive, especially after the word ‘ma'am’ blurted out of his mouth. If it was anyone but her mother who had sent him, she just might have. There were worse things that could happen though, at least Jessi remembered whose blood she had in her veins. Fei stared at the sun as it began to descend into the horizon, another reminder that the two needed to find shelter and quickly.

She kept silent, lost in her thoughts of glory and triumph, as Jessi lead them into a suspicious looking tavern. Savages and traitors held conversations and drank cheap ale, people Fei would rather rip her eyes out than talk to. Looking at them only reassured Fei’s trust in her mother’s decisions in banishing half of them. Eyes from all corners of the room followed the two the moment they entered. Fei kept her head held eye, everyone here was well beneath her and didn’t deserve her glance.

Jessi called for the bar tender, hoping to get a room within this dump. If this was the best they could offer visitors, Fei questioned what their princess lived in. Fei sighed, annoyed at all the trouble they had to go to just find a room. The moment the bartender opened his mouth, Fei’s head whipped toward him. He dare insult the Imperium? A piece of scum like him had no right to even speak of it. Fei’s hair began to slowly trickle with fire, the anger swelling within her. Something told her this wasn’t going to end well.

Then the next words that came out of his mouth lost any restraint she had left. Insulting the Imperium was more than enough to get burned alive but mocking the Crimson Knight, the Asgard, her mother would have everyone here rotting in the hell which they belonged. Before she could torch him, someone from behind grabbed for her. Oh how he would regret it.

Fei made no motion to block the creature’s revolting hands. Instead, she closed her eyes and let the energy within her grow until her entire body blazed with heat. The moment the man’s hands came in contact with Fei, his hand would pull back, scarring at the burn of her skin. She took the moment to kick him straight in the face, sending him flying into a nearby table. Fire glared in her eyes. She’d been saving up her fire and heat for the tournament but she’d gladly use all of her powers here. The locked chest between her breasts glowed brightly, roaring with anger and pride for her country. Everyone in here would regret the moment they set eyes on her.

Pulling out her beloved double swords, Fei grinned wickedly. Fire blazed relentlessly atop her head. She’d imagined moments like this her whole life. It didn’t matter if Jessi and her had to sleep outside, the whole tavern would go down in flames. She moved into a battle stance and stared at the rest of the citizens in the tavern, prepared to burn every one of them.

Fei turned her attention to the bartender, her eyes were dancing with flames now. No would insult her mother and walk away. She sent a wave of fire across the bar, hopefully silencing the entire tavern and pointed one of her swords at the bartender. Although she probably have kept her mouth shut, Fei’s pride for her people and mother was too much to let someone insult so easily.

“My name is Fei, daughter of the mighty Asgard, you filthy piece of scum. Unless you apologize for not only insulting the Imperium but my mother, I will burn both you and this pile of crap you call a tavern to the grounds.”

Fei

News of the Princess Emilia Warov holding a competition within her foreign lands soon reached the ears Fei. While she didn’t need such a foolish battle to tell her she was talented, the very thing she needed was one of the prizes, a legendary relic. Was there possibly a better sign of fate than that? The idea was practically created just for her. It was beyond perfect. The moment Fei heard, she had raced off to the sands of Exilia.

Of course she should have expected something to go wrong.

A dull, goodie two-shoes, lowly life guard had followed her with orders from her mother to ‘protect’ her. As if. Fei could easily burn the boy to cinders before he even had time to scream for help. While he might be a guard of the Imperium, she’d done more training than he would do in his life. This would be her opportunity to finally get the reward she deserved and a some wannabe knight wouldn’t keep her from it. The only thing that could make the situation worse would be if the bookworm or school president showed up. Fei shivered at the thought.

And so both Jessi and Fei were within the sweating city of exiles and thieves. They needed to find shelter for the night, something she’d just started to worry about. Perhaps she’d make Jessi stay up all night watching for enemies, it’d serve him right anyway. He couldn’t even learn to keep his tongue shut, a lesson Fei couldn’t wait to teach him.

“First of all, there is no question about ‘if’. I have been training my entire life to fight for something like this and when, not if, I enter and win this competition, I’ll show you just how capable I am,” She snapped, enraged that he would dare question her skills. “As far as the competition, there are no rules claiming I can’t participate. Plus, if we keep our heads down like everyone else, we probably won’t gain as much attention,” Fei said, specifically ignoring the part about marriage. While he was correct in the fact that she would refuse, it was none of his business what people of her status did. He had no right to even question her about it.

@Awesomoman64
Abby's room will be the one beside Alex's :)
@BlueAjah
You still fine if Jessi tags along as Feis' unwanted bodyguard? Might be smart seeing as some people in Exilla will probably recognize the daughter of Asgard and she'll become quite a big target.

I don't mind at all and I'm looking forward to it XD Jessi is going to be in hell for a while though
@TheWindel@The 42nd Gecko

I posted!

Also, on my post there's an unspecified length time skip, to help move things along as an apology for the couple weeks break, hehehe. I think that the newest mission will interest both @BlueAjah Fei and @Guilty Spark Cyrin, for different but equally good reasons.

Now excuse me while I move on to other tasks.

So if someone were to win the tournament, would they have to accept all the prizes? Like marrying the princess? While Fei would join the competition for the Relic, she would not want to marry someone at all.
@airgetlam4213
I have no problems with your CS, as long as BlueAjah is okay with it.

@airgetlam4213

It looks good to me but just try to fix the images before you put it into the CS tab! :)

Believe me, Maria would make those three minutes count. >:D

Oh gosh XD What have I done? :P
@BlueAjah

Nice, now you gave Maria a new damsel to fall for.

Anyway, you shouldn't worry about posting fast. No one here expects anyone to. Ad long as you continue with us, it's all good.

XD To be fair, she did just kill a dog :P She'll only be out for about 3 minutes though.
Lillian

A woman’s voice broke Lillian concentration on the beasts as she glanced back to find Maria. Although she was stunning to look at, Lillian’s gaze drifted beyond her, in search of the man who had helped her. He was okay, right? Lillian nodded to reassure herself he was fine and could probably take better care of himself than she could.

Directing her attention back to the task at hand, she took a few practice swings of the sword in her hands. Swing diagonally? Lillian’s eyes scrunched up in determination to wield the sword correctly. Following Maria’s directions, she held it parallel to the ground and swung the small sword. Although she improved slightly, Lillian still managed to look like a blind man attempting to paint. With practice though, she was sure she could master it!

One of the hooded things stepped forward, leaving the other three to continue dragging the poor thrashing women away. Before Lillian could blink, the hooded creature suddenly had the head of a ferocious, infested dog and attacked Donny. Why couldn’t there just be a giant squirrel? A hint of fear tingled within her, telling her to run far away from this but nothing could persuade her determination to leave. She clenched the hilt of the sword and marched toward the beast on top of Donny, ready to slash at it. Breath escaped Lillian’s entire body as the hooded creature trapped within Donny’s ropes, broke free and revealed the face of another horrible dog. It made eye contact with Lillian, whose hands were slightly shaking.

I can do this. Swing diagonally.

In mere seconds, the beast blasted at Lillian, who was so focused on Maria’s instructions she barely had enough time to scream in fear. As instructed, Lillian slashed out diagonally at the creature with all of her strength, weak though it was. The sword, to her disbelief, made impact with the dog creature, but all she managed to do was make the creature even angrier. That was more than enough to send Lillian sprinting to find a better position. Hundreds of ideas flashed through her head, most of them including some sort of jump in the air. Instead of doing anything at all, Lillian tripped over a rock she hadn’t noticed before and fell for the second time that day, flat on her face. Lillian’s entire body cringed, waiting for the snarling beast to eat her entire body. Maybe now it was time to wake up and return to wherever she had come from.

Instead sharp teeth biting into her, a guitar ripped through the air and crashed right into the creature’s legs as it readied to attack her. Lillian gasped in shock. She had been saved by Donny! A wave of relief passed over her and she quickly stood up from her fall. A disgusting muck of dirt covered part of her face but she payed no attention to it. Gripping the sword in her hand, Lillian took a deep breath and swung at the dog’s head. A spray of blood splattered across her face as the head of the dog was ripped off. Lillian froze, the sword in her hand clattering to the floor.

Blood. No matter how hard she tried to not see it, the smell of it still filled her nose, suffocating her. Lillian’s stomach screamed with sickness. So much blood. She looked down at the dog, a pool of blood where its head had once been. Behind her, blood covered the ground at which Maria stood. There was no escaping it. Lillian’s entire face turned pure white and the last thing she saw were the other hunters finishing off the beasts before she collapsed into even more darkness.

I was talking about greywolf personally :P Although I do agree with you as well.

I know, greywolf's been inactive for a month so I agree with your post earlier as well. It seems like a lot of us have gone inactive too :( It's a shame this isn't working out :(
