Perpetual Repeat () N/A Male personification Semi-humanoid head and torso, a pair of tri-jointed arms which reach nearly to the ground (alternatively he can walk on two or four legs), a pair of secondary smaller try-jointed arms beneath the first (for more delicate procedures like eating and handling things), each arm ends in a prehensile pad instead of hands. Two bi-jointed back-bending legs that split into four hoof-like feet. He sports a double-tail and long spines on his shoulders and back. On his head, he has a pair of front-facing eyes and a pair of rear-facing eyes (can't sneak up on him). He stands roughly thirteen feet tall. - when in battle he can cause spines to grow anywhere on his body, he may also detach and throw them at an opponent. - the ability to change the color of his skin to blend in with his environment, or for aesthetic value, his "default" colors being dark violet with bands of fluorescent white around his neck, arms, and legs. Can stick to smooth surfaces, extremely graceful, and incredibly fast over short distances.

I love it!

I see, then I think I might like to include a short biography in my CS as well, since the characters are "people" in a sense. What do we call them anyway? Also, for "age". I don't know how far we are in the future, but I imagine that most of the characters wouldn't have been around for more than a few decades (depending on when this whole gladiator thing began) since they were created in a lab and all. I'm guessing they would have been created mature, instead of being raised like a child (or pet?) because that may humanize them too much.

Ah, good point. I'll remove age. A bio would basically be one of the selling points (Like the characters in wrestling shows personalities). Yeah, they'd be created mature. They're called fighters, I guess. If anyone has a better name, just tell me and I'll consider it.

I suppose popular bands and singers might have their own too, if only for publicity. Even if they are corporately owned, I like the idea of the public being able to "sponsor" their favorite creature, would give them a greater sense of involvement and increase competition between fighters and fans.As interesting as the idea is, there doesn't seem to be much of a plot line yet. There ought to be some deeper conflict than the beasts' initial aggressiveness toward each other. Perhaps there is an incident where someone is injured, or even a rights movement. These are only speculations of course, you may have something different in mind.EDIT:Other than no theme songs, can any song/music track be used?If the creatures were created in a laboratory, do they really have a sex, or are they asexual and just display male or female aspects (as far as a more feminine or masculine appearance, or even just so the fans can refer to them as a he or a she)? Can there be regular human characters, presumably the scientist/musician who created the beast and if not will those people just be NPCs and not really involved in the story?

Danke. I will be thinking about a greater plotline, you all can share ideas. I will answer your questions:

1: Yes.
2: They're technically asexual, although they can have a more feminine or masculine appearance. It's mostly so they can be referred to by "he" or "she".
3: Yes, but there will be multiple races, but humans and aliens are not allowed to be in the fights. NPCs are allowed, too.

EDIT: The characters also interact with the fans when they're not fighting. They do the usual, interviews, pictures, autographs, small chat, etc.

Ah, very interesting. Like Gladiators, they're all thrown into an arena to kill each other. Are the creatures privately owned (probably only the rich could afford them) or owned solely by one company? I feel like, since it's a huge entertainment thing the creators could make a lot of money off of selling the creatures or at the very least letting people or other organizations sponsor them. Aside from sponsors and admission fees, the betting would be hot too.

Great points! Music record labels, television companies that air fights, and other companies and people sponsor and make money off of them. The creatures are "owned" by the company, they do have free will, but they all want to stay.

Betting and admission fees get the company reeeall rich.

And I'll be AFK for a little while (About an hour).

Amazing. A penguin vs a octodad monster. Hell yeah. No perma death, right?

Nope. Everyone has clones.

And it's more like an all-out fake war rather than one-on-one, although 1v1 is welcomed.

Soooo... What's the story?

Working on it, but here's the gist of it:

In the far future, some people got tired of all the fake fighting entertainment like boxing and wrestling. He really liked music, so he wanted to incorporate in music somehow. So, he got a bunch of scientists, artists, and musicians together to have the musicians allow the artists and the man to use their music in a business, the artists to draw designs for the creatures, and the scientists to create and clone the fighters. The sport would be like wrestling, but with monsters, guns, lasers, sufficiently-advanced technology, and a whole lotta death between them. The creatures loved to fight each other and act on the battlefield, and wouldn't harm a spectator, so it got HUUGE! It is the source of arena entertainment in the Milky Way.

Tentative interest.Question: Are we allowed to use more than one song?Suggestion: Though the characters are initially based off of one song they may acquire/invent new songs that cause changes in their character's personality and/or appearance.

Answer: No. You can have multiple characters based off of different songs, though.

Gonna have to shoot you down on the suggestion there, (sorry!) but only because that's not how the characters work. They are all artificial, and cannot be changed by music. The scientists who created them would need to change their appearance, but they can't do it much. Personality changes can come from experiences and experiences only.
