No it translates in german to mother devil. Unless google translate is a liar.
Hey I'm super interested.

My character is going to gain her powers from playing a game called "Mutter Teufel". So if you wanna translate that you'll get the gist of how fun she is going to be.

The second Kana finished her sentence thoughts that weren't her own started rushing in. 'I don't want to be bothered, I'm here to learn not talk to a bunch of rednecks' Kana could hear it all in her head so loud she couldn't focus. 'What am I the school technician?'. Kana barely had the ability to recognize that whoever was thinking this was talking about her. When the girl she had started talking to replied Kana realized who was thinking all these thoughts. She had a hunch it was her before, but didn't want to jump to conclusions.

"If I were you, I'd take that horrid thing off.Have you even seen what it's doing to everyone else?"

Kana heard various small non-sensical things flying threw the girls head. All the small thoughts made coming up with her own response rather hard. "Y-yeah" Kana replied her hand rubbing her head a bit. 'The wolf does not care for the opinion of sheep.'

"And how should I know? Dr. Ruben made them. You should be asking him, not me."

Kana put her hand down onto the table, and looked up at Mika's. "You know what I think I just figured out the problem. So I leave you be" Kana said to her with a forced smile. Kana went back to her table just in time to be dismissed from class. Kana pulled off the arm band glad to not hear those girls rude comments anymore. Kana stuffed the device in her bag. It could always help her practice controlling her power.

As everyone started leaving across the room she saw Mark. Kana weaved through the desks to start conversation with someone who hopefully wouldn't be so rude. "Hey, Mark" Kana said walking up next to him.

Kana Wabae

@Mr Allen J

Kana had spent the rest of her day out of her room. Her and Mark had walked together to figure out their rooming arrangements, but afterwards they had split up. She found out where she was staying, and went up to the room to find her roommate and properly introduce herself. Unfortunately when she got up there no one else had been in the room. Kana left rather soon after finding out no one was there. Kana had realized she hadn't seen much of the campus. While she was rather tired having slept barley at all on the boat or the nights previous, Kana had always loved to explore. Plus she didn't want to be lost tomorrow when classes started. With these things in mind Kana went off by herself to enjoy what Academy 218 had to offer.

After many hours of simply walking and observing Kana found that it had started to get very dark. She checked her phone and noticed it was almost curfew. Kana had figured out her routes and decided it would be best not to break any rules already. Actually she had decided it would be best not to break the rules ever, but that was besides the point. Kana headed back up to her room for a restful nights sleep.

When she finally woke up the next morning she noticed that she had barely enough time to get ready. Kana skipped her morning shower and went straight to getting dressed. Throwing off yesterdays clothes she grabbed some new ones from her still un packed luggage. She simply tossed her old clothes on the floor telling herself she would pick it up later. Kana hopped around pulling on her shoes with one hand and grasping for a pony tail with another. After her shoes were on Kana stood in front of the mirror. Her hair was not polished or anything, but it defiantly could have been worse. She quickly wrapped it up into a messy bun. Kana grabbed her bag and packed it with a few books a pencil and paper. She then headed off to class with five minuets to get there. Kana thankfully already knew her way to class and made just in time.

She wasn't in time however to pick her own seat. Only one was left next to a much more polished girl. She thought she might have recognized her, but she couldn't place where. She was defiantly of asian decent, but if Kana was being honest she wasn't sure of the exact region she was from. Kana took a seat next to the girl. The girl didn't seem to happy keeping a glare with the teacher and denying to put on the arm band. Kana tried not to look at the girl too much since she seemed so displeased.

Kana looked at the piece of equipment on her desk. She was worried how it would effect her From the reactions of others it enhanced the power you already have. Kana shrugged 'now or never' She thought. Kana pulled up the arm band placing it around her arm as it seemed to tighten to fit her. She looked at the green stuff waiting for a reaction. It didn't really do anything though. She turned it around in her hands thinking maybe she needed to shake it up, but nope there was no reaction. Kana looked over at Mika. "Hey do you think this could be defective or something. Mine isn't seeming to have any reaction" Kana asked her hoping to not only strike up conversation, but figure out what she was doing wrong.
Sorry I haven't posted yet. Just like @Heathen I've been stupid busy. I should be able to get a post up today. I was going to have Kana be late to class,but since someone already was would you rather I make her late or just not have talked until this moment in the class.

@SepticGentleman

Kana kept her head towards her food."you have no idea. it's kinda like being invaded by another person's mind. The worst part is taht there's nothing I can do about it. I don't want to be intrusive to people, but it's just not something I can control" Kana explained ending with a large sigh. She pushed around a sushi roll with her chopstick getting caught up in her own thoughts instead of others peoples. while contemplating how this year would turn out if everyone couldn't look past her mind reading abilities Kana took another sip of her coke.

The carbonation went straight to her nose causing her to shoot up from her hunched stance and lightly hit the under side of the table with her knee. It wasn't so loud that it rose over all the conversation, but a thud broke the silence of at least Kana and Mark's table. She tightened her nose and pushed together her face trying to cope with the carbination. It soon retreated, but the whole experience made Kana snap out of her thoughts.

Kana sniffled rubbing her nose for a minuet. A small laugh escaped Kana. "sorry about that" she said growing a shinning smile returning to her regular positive character.

"WOULD ALL STUDENTS PLEASE PROCEED TO THE RECEPTION, IN ORDER TO BE ALLOCATED THEIR LIVING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THIS ACADEMIC YEAR. THANK YOU."

Kana looked up at the intercome as the message went through. Kana shrugged she was done with her food, so now seemed like as good a time as any to go get her roommate. Kana got up from her seat. "Well, I'm gonna go find out my living arrangements...care to join me" Kana said with a small shrug and tilt of her head.
In that case I guess I'll be in Ruben's class.
Is there anyway Kana could be in both classes. If not then because she wants to learn how to control her telepathy I think she should be in Adam's class.

Kana took a large bite of sushi as Mark talked. Crunchy rolls had and will probably always be her favorite type of food. The large roll unfortunately filled her mouth almost completely. It caused her to have a little bit of a chipmunk face. Kana quickly swallowed not want to look so foolish. Mark seemed to be a very precise person. He looked as though he was on the edge almost the whole time they had been talking. Kana first noticed when they sat down. Mark had been searching the room as though someone was about to attack him. Even as Kana spoke it seemed his mind was elsewhere. Kana wished she knew what was running through his head. Sometimes Kana really wished she could control her mind reading.

Kana grabbed a napkin and touched her face lightly, having a bit of a nervous tick when it comes to making sure her face was clean. Setting down the napkin lightly Kana thought over how glad she was that Mark simply smoothed over the reading minds thing. '10 points for Gryffindor' Kana thought with a small smile. cutting a piece of sushi in half, something Kana hated doing, she continued to listen to Mark.

"I know specialists exist for certain animals, but they sent mere here for more than just that."

Kana paused for a minuet to ponder what Mark meant. They sent him here for more then just a Nest certificate thingy. What else could they of sent him here for? Could he be meaning he was meant for some special program. Maybe he was the army's new secret weapon. Kana threw around ideas in her head most of them being rather silly and overly positive. This was interrupted by Mark pulling her back to reality.

"Read minds a bit?"

Kana squished up her mouth to the left. She set down the piece of sushi she was about to eat in order to reply to Mark. "Yeah uhm every now and again people think things and I hear them" Kana explained her entire demeanor slowing down and becoming awkward. "Like on the boat this little boy thought a large black girl was going to steal from him" Kana gave the example looking only down at her food.

Kana thought back to how direct her words came out. I should tone it down a little bit. I sound like I'm making a business transaction. Kana was sure she would do better acting friendly instead of pushing through social norms of how and when you ask personal questions. Kana read Marks body language in the wait for him to respond. He had defiantly not expect her to be so direct. Kana couldn't real blame him it came rather out of left field.

It took time for Mark to reply. It was a little longer then Kana liked to be let waiting. She was admittedly rather impatient. Finally Mark started to say something, but then just a quickly he stopped only getting out "I". Then he gave a shy chuckle. 'Oh wow' Kana thought growing a smile. 'Okay that was adorable' Kana told herself wanting to inform Mark too, but knowing that he wouldn't get it. Kana often picked out things about people that she found sweet or cute. These things didn't necessarily mean that Kana was trying to flirt or was looking for a relationship. They only mean that Kana simply enjoys peoples little expressions and sounds.

Once Mark finished talking and then revising his talking Kana nodded her head. "Nice, you should be a veterinarian once you get out of here....but only a cat veterinarian...do those exist" Kana knew that she was about to go on a tangent, so she quickly changed the subject. "Anyway, I well I guess I manipulate animals. I sort of just ask them to do things and then boom they do them." Kana explain while picking up her glass of coke she had gotten with her food. "That and I can sort of read minds a bit" Kana awkwardly and meekly pushed out. She quickly took a sip of her Coke through a straw to try and shield herself if there was going to be a bad reaction.
