Personality: Vivian is incredibly competitive about everything. She is always striving to be the best. Vivian is intelligent, resourceful, and ambitious in the best of times, sometimes she can be spiteful, dismissive, and condescending to those she sees as her rivals. But she does have a sense of humor and will get involved with silly events if she feels she can let go and have fun, which at times she has a hard time doing.

Biography:Vivian came from a large family with seven older brothers and two younger brothers. Being the only girl in a house full of boys she became hyper-competitive as to keep up with her many brothers. Her hypercompetitive streak leaked into every aspect of her life. She was a Straight A Student, excellent at taking care of Pokemon and battling, easily the strongest trainer in her family, and was the first one in her family to evolve her first Pokemon an Eevee that her oldest brother gave to her on her tenth birthday. Not long after Eevee evolved did Vivian vowed to become the region champion and after a couple months of working a part-time job to get her started on her new path in life, she got the approval of her family and they all helped her get started by buying her a few items to get started. She is now making her way to the Beryllium Pokemon Lab with her Umbreon partner, Nyx, and the two should be there in no time. And soon she will become the champion of Chromis. She hopes.

And this will most likely won't become competitive, most Pokemon Battles are optional and the battles will depend more on writing ability rather than gameplay ability, so you don't need to worry about metagaming in this rp~

Name: Alexander 'Alex' Rossmoore

Appearance

Personality: Before Alex moved to the Alola region, he was always very open to everyone. He was the kid that would always make everyone laugh, and even if at the cost of his own embarrassment, he would laugh with them. But ever since he was torn away from his friends, and the rest of his family back home, and sent to live with his aunt and uncle after his parents untimely death, he has been reserved, quiet. It's not that he's shy, or scared of making new friends, but he fears for himself. That if he makes new bonds, new friendships, meets new people and gets to know them and open up to them, all of that will be taken away from him, sucked into the black void of his past, forever looping, taking everything he loved and cared for away from him, over and over again, until he would be left with nothing. The only thing he knows he won't lose, is the one that stuck with him the whole time, Crimson, his Misdreavus. The only living thing that he trusts to be with him.

Bonds: Crimson His Pokemon, Misdreavus. Given to him by his parents at the age of 10, Crimson has been with him every step of the way. Crimson is the only living thing he trusts anymore.

Kau'i - His aunt on his fathers side. She tries to get him to open up to her, but she thinks the best thing for him to do is to complete the island trials, and find his belief and trust from his journey.

Ali'i - His uncle. His uncle doesn't care for him much, and he tries to get his wife to let him be. He thinks that he is a lost cause, and didn't care for his wife's brother or his family, causing him to be negligent to his nephew.

Pokemon: Misdreavus

Pokemon's Nature: Misdreavus is calm and collected most of the time. She tries to be Alex's strength when he has none, and tries to comfort him. The bond she shares with him is more than just human and Pokemon. She knows what he's feeling, and feels the pain that he does, when he does. She has a bond that neither her, nor Alex can explain. But whatever it is, it is something strong that has kept them together for as long as they have been. Crimson believes that her and Alex can get through anything, as long as their bond is strong enough.
