Still an Undertale fan?

I just logged onto this account to see if there was anything I missed after being off it for so long. Did you motherfuckers just use someone else's IC to find an RP partner?

Few can claim not to know the myth of the Holy Grail, a magical chalice said to be capable of granting any who obtains it a single wish. For ages, many have sought after its power, yet not a single person has managed to obtain it. Even to this day, magi speak of the grail with wonder, desperately craving it for a slew of reasons, whether it is to find the Root of all knowledge or for their own personal gain. The first to make true progress towards attaining the grail were the Einzbern family, who devised a ritual to summon the holy grail and use it for their own gain. This rite was the Heaven's Feel, or what is more commonly referred to as the Holy Grail War. In this event, seven heroic spirits from across time and space by the name of servants would heed the call of masters——magi deemed worthy of entering the war——to engage in a battle royale wherein only one pair could win a wish for the grail.

It is commonly known that the first two Holy Grail Wars were unsuccessful. However, the exact reasons for this became muddied with time. What is certain is what happened in the third Holy Grail War. A servant by the name of Angra Mainyu corrupted the Grail, tainting it for every war that succeeded his own. It became incapable of granting wishes without causing mass destruction, becoming a vessel for the world's evils rather than the pristine treasure that could grant its owner anything they so desired. But what if Avenger had never been summoned? What if, instead, a master loyal to their servant allowed it to make a wish upon the grail? And what if, pray tell, that servant happened to be one of the incarnations of the Hindu god, Vishnu? The eighth avatar, Krishna, who witnessed first hand the greed of men in the modern era, elected to reincarnate as a human child to put an end to the corruption in the world by participating in the Holy Grail War himself with the rider of the apocalypse, Kalki.

Now, unbeknownst to the mages readying themselves for what is now the fourth Holy Grail War, they all have a common enemy who wishes to purge the world of all its sins. Though they may not realize it at first, their battle is not only one for the grail, but for the fate of the world itself. Two weeks. That is all the time they have to realize this. Should they fail, it is likely that the face of the Earth will never again be the same. To a god, any who does not follow them is a sinner. Kalki is no different. If he is allowed the chance to gain control of the Grail, billions will lose their lives for the sake of creating the ideal society.

Actually, I'm sorry, but my schedule looks like it's too packed to take up this RP without lagging you guys down tremendously. Feel free to find a replacement, but if you guys are still looking after 2 weeks, I'd be more than happy to rejoin.

Edit: Oh, and Petty, your post is completely fine. Establishes Indigo's personality well through actions and dialogues, not overly verbose——pretty good overall. Keep things up like this and you have nothing to worry about.
@Balthazar007
I'd like to have him be a local, so a list of mons to choose from would be appreciated.
Hey guys, looks like I'm the Breeder here. Nice to meetcha.
Bump.
Hello there, I'm writing this thread in hopes of finding a GM who would be willing to write with me to create a story following the journey of a central character from start to finish. As in, a play that begins in their childhood years (how young depends on the plot) and ends with them being old and on the verge of death after having lived a fulfilling life. That's honestly about it. If it sounds really general, that's because it is. I've always loved stories that explored the MC's life from start to finish. Being able to watch them grow and age gradually always heightened the sense of investment I got from following their adventures, hence why I would really like to explore the concept for myself. Although, this doesn't mean I would leave every part of world building to whoever accepts this. If need be, I'd be more than happy to world build alongside my GM and toss out ideas as to where the plot could go. It's a big task, so I'd be willing to alleviate the burden in anyway I can.

That about sums it up. If you'd like to see a more detailed look at my interests, I have an interest thread here: roleplayerguild.com/topics/168820-plo…

The idea can definitely be set in a pre-established world, so for sure let me know if any of our interests line up. Though, I'd be willing to go through this with most plot set ups, so feel free to just throw ideas my way.
"Eh?" The flames of Tatsuya's repelled attack came quickly. By the time he realized that the bottle had been turned on him, it was too late for him to dodge. Instinctively, he raised two fists in front of him as though he were blocking a mere punch. A flash of light appeared in his left fist. Though he did not realize what was happening, the light grew to form a golden bat, one more pristine than the world had ever known. Not that his brain could register that it had shown up in the first place. So he waited until his body was scorched beyond repair. And waited... And waited... So long, in fact, that he wondered if the world had suddenly gone into slow motion to get every nasty detail when his skin got just a bit darker. He opened his eyes to the shield that had protected him with surprised eyes, a bead of sweat on the side of his forehead. He smiled in relief. "Maybe ya do know a bit more than we give you credit for, huh?"

Not that it was gonna change his mind on fighting the monster, anyway. His newly realized safety allowed him to notice the bat that was in his hand. Its existence itself baffled him. Where had it come from? And why did he feel so connected to it? It felt less like a bat and more like an extension of himself, almost. He gave it a few practice swings. With each swing he took, he was shocked to find that the bat was not only as light as feather, but packed an absurd punch. Ayame and Jaakuna had powers for the longest time——could this be his own? He slung it over his shoulder and walked over to his senpai.

Another woman had joined up with them after getting up from what seemed to be a pretty nasty attack. That pink hair...could she be responsible for the petals he saw? And the huge burst of energy he felt right when they launched their attack, for that matter. Whether she was or she wasn't there was one thing for sure, the lady was a looker! Ayame could learn a thing or two, that much was for sure. But he wasn't a fan of fawning over pretty ladies when he and his friends were practically knocking on death's door. Jaakuna was right, they needed a plan. If only someone had suggested it before they launched an assault...oh well. He felt that things had worked out for them very well all the same. And he wasn't saying that entirely because he got out of things scot free. Now, they had the advantage.

"Whaddaya mean? Things went perfectly as far as I'm concerned. That thing's got eyes for you now, senpai." Things were a bit too serious for him to use his regular nickname. He pointed his bat at the woman. "Or, well, both of ya. No matter what you're doing, the easiest way to win is to get inside your opponent's head. That's true for anything. If he's scared of you guys enough to pull off something like that...I'd say he thinks you're both pretty dangerous. And along with that bummy looking strong guy, you guys can give him a bad case of tunnel vision if you come at him all at once."

He glanced at the oil barrels and smiled.

"If you can keep him busy long enough...me and Ayame should be able to pull something off." He doubted his idea would outright kill the demon. The best he could see it doing is stunning him long enough to give the old stranger (pink haired lady was the new one) enough time to finish it off. "Once she gets back to us...it'll be game, set, and match. Trust me, we'll have that thing up in flames. Ten percent guaranteed!"

Ten percent was a lot more for Tatsuya than it was for other people.
New power.

  • Core Power - Spirit Bat: Tatsuya creates a baseball bat made out of his spirit energy. Each swing he takes is around twice as powerful as his punches.
  • Suspended Bat - Tatsuya suspends the bat in the air for a maximum of 5 minute at a time. The bat can support around 300 pounds of weight before it automatically disappears from overuse.
  • Flying Bat - Tatsuya controls the baseball bat from afar, allowing him to manipulate it and make it seem as though it is fighting by itself. It moves about as fast as he does and can pack as much punch as a regular swing. However, Tatsuya is forced to stay in place for the duration of the technique. Should he move from his spot, the technique disappears and he must wait 10 minutes for him to use it again.
  • Home Run Bat - Tatsuya enlarges the blunt part of the bat, allowing him to attack with 5 times the strength of his normal punches. It lasts for 1 minute at most. When its time is up, Tatsuya is unable to use any of his other techniques, outside of his core power.
