@ManoftheNorth I might try throwing this up in advance if I don't get much interest here. More work, but at least I'll have the reassurance that people will be dedicated even if they aren't active.

@Ammokkx Glad to hear! Ghouls are all good.
@ManoftheNorth Well, if you do join, it would be appreciated. I'm not exactly swimming in interest here...
@ManoftheNorth Yep, that was me. Do you remember which character you had used?
@ManoftheNorth Possibly! It was hosted by one other person before me, though, so it might have been them. Or it could have been me. Who knows? What do you remember about it?

@MarsAdept Glad to have you on board. A glacéon hybrid would be interesting to see.
War. War never changes.

Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first discovered the killing power of rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of everything: from God to justice to simple, psychotic rage.

In the year 2077, after millennia of armed conflict, the destructive nature of man could sustain itself no longer. The world was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and radiation.

But it was not, as some had predicted, the end of the world. Instead, the apocalypse was simply the prologue to another bloody chapter of human history. For man had succeeded in destroying this world - but we opened a path to another.

The scientists of the Big Mountain Research Facility had been charged with the research of alternate realities; Worlds the rich and powerful could escape into in the event of nuclear disaster. They succeeded - But too late. The portals were opened as the bombs fell, and the creatures that were pulled through were unleashed onto a landscape of hellfire and radiation.

In the early days, thousands were spared the horrors of the holocaust and these rampant creatures by taking refuge in enormous underground shelters, known as vaults. But when they emerged, they had only the hell of the wastes to greet them. Monsters they had never seen or heard of before roamed the scared lands. Some fought against them, others befriended these creatures and founded settlements. Others still were taken by the Enclave and the Super Mutants and subjected to horrifying experiments involving them.

But how will this story play out for you? Will you conquer the wastes and the new creatures that inhabit them? Or will you succumb to the harsh, scarred lands, and lay your head in one of the many unmarked graves?

So, before the wipe of Oldguild, I moderated a pokemon/fallout crossover. It died because too many people had to drop, and we couldn't pull in any more. Now that I'm back from vacation, I can put more serious time and effort into this. If you have questions or suggestions, make them now, input would be greatly appreciated.

I want this to be a team effort, not you guys just doing a hop-skip-jump through a pre-destined path. I will be playing the part of the 'Wasteland', or some of the enemies/elements you may encounter, but I might be persuaded to let someone in the roleplay run an 'event' if they'd like, so long as is doesn't give the character(s) too high a boost. We can create the lore and history together.

The story will be mirroring that of Fallout 3, with the addition of pokemon. I plan to make some adjustments and changes to the story, But for the most part I want some good group input on where we should go next.

No takers?
OP updated with more information.
So are the pokemon mutated creatures? Will we be able to partner with them or are they just like any other wild variety? Will there be pokeballs or some other capture mechanism?

Please note that I've updated the opening post with relevant information. Please give it another read through before asking more questions.

The idea was that mutated Pokemon have replaced the normal mutated creatures. Bloatflies are now Beedril, Rapid dogs are now dog pokemon (With elemental attacks and such, watch out!) Yao Guai are Ursarang, Mirelurks are Crabby/Corphish/Crustle depending on the environment, with kings being their evolved forms. Supermutants and Centuars are replaced by heavily deformed pokemon-human hybrids. Deathclaws are still there, though. Not even crossovers are strong enough to kill them!

There will also be 'pure' or 'normal' pokemon that haven't succumbed to mutation thanks to the fallout, but you'll mostly see the mutated versions. There is no capture mechanism, its all about trust out in the wastes. Mutated pokemon are generally too feral to tame, but you might get lucky with some of the 'pure' Pokemon.

And, before anyone asks; Yes, human/pokemon hybrids will be allowed, but I'm allowing a maximum of 2 (TWO) total, and they will be HEAVILY scrutinized, and will very likely need a lot of discussing and re-balancing with me before I give them the okay. 'Pure' pokemon are rare. Hybrids that didn't come out super-mutants or centaurs are going to be much, much rarer.

And yes, they can be legendary. I'm just going to scrutinize them all the more, though. You're going to have to do some very clever weaving and writing to get one past me.

Also, a question; Would you rather I set this up in DC or Nevada? I don't have the time to set up a whole new region for this, so I'm going to modify the story of either Fallout 3 (and name it Fallout P) or New Vegas (clever rename pending).

Questions abound... Are Sorceries/Miracles/Pyromancy from DS2 allowed?
