The Beastly Curse (we still need people)

Vellorita had been traveling for a few weeks now and had just passed through a village that had been so kind to trade herbs for bread and cheese. A stream provided her with water and she was looking for a place to rest and eat her meal. It wasn't long until she came upon a wall. Vellorita had not noticed she had made it onto the royal grounds of a palace. Curious, she scaled the ivy that clung to the wall and went over it. On the other side she was met with a field and an almost desolate appearing palace. Taking a bite of her bread, she continued on across the field until she reached a garden.

Personality:
Seductive and shrewd, she has little problem doing what others cannot stomach. With her wit and silver tongue, she will never do something that is not beneficial to her or her court. Her mind is constantly on one matter or another, causing her to be somewhat distracted. She took on the personality of her mother, Mab and is a ruthless ruler. Her personality sometimes boarders on cruel, however, she always considers the endgame. Sorcha will never admit she is wrong and holds herself in high regard. She will never be caught in common linens and will turn her nose at immaturity.

Background:
Sorcha was born to the late Queen Mab and her consort of the time. Her mother ruled her child like she ruled her land. With a stern hand little leeway. Sorcha grew up detached from the other children, even they were nobles. Her days were filled with lessons on etiquette, politics and war. Throughout the decades her mother would force her child into one task after another. Should she fail any, she would be frozen alive with ice clogging her nose, throat and lungs. She would stay frozen for months and sometimes even a year.
When her mother had left court on travel to the fall court, Sorcha was given her first taste of freedom. And, like many of her people, lust. She had taken bed with a stable boy who then sired a child in her. Sorcha could not tell anyone for they all feared Mab and would never keep the secret. When Mab returned and discovered her daughters condition she froze the father. Sorcha was forced to go through with the pregnancy and for a moment believed that she would keep the baby, however Mab had made other plans. Mab froze the child with the father in a macabre ice statue and shredded Sorcha's fine black wings. Broken and enraged, Sorcha killed her mother and her mother's consort. She took over the throne and froze anyone who dared to defy her rule.

Character Name: Vellorita Ashwood
age: 19
personality: A warm and friendly person, she is used to dealing with boys and their tendencies. She is the type of person who is wise beyond her years. Her humility is often taken for shyness but she has no problem telling anyone exactly how she feels about them. She prefers not to cause issues and is normally the one fixing problems with her quick wit.
bio: Vellorita lived with her father and three younger brothers. For years she played the role of mother in their lives. She would do the gardening, the cooking and the wash for the men of the household as well as the trading. It was when she began her first bloodletting did she discover her power. During that week she was toxic and deadly to be near. Her father confessed it was due to the fae blood of her mother. When she was fifteen the poison struck hard and one of her younger brothers fell ill. For years she was conflicted as to what she should do until her father remarried a kind woman and Vellorita was free to leave her home and keep her family safe. Years of travel left her with plenty of time to learn to control her powers, however during her bloodletting, she is still a deadly force.
