@knockout709 Hey was reading through your bio again, the beasts are kept inside the books or are already affiliated with the family or something similar. Could you change your bio just a tad. I just posted the headmaster bio so you could take a look at that to understand what I mean.
@CloseEnough I didn't notice early, but could you add something about you discovering a book/scroll/stone tablet etc for your beast? I didn't make it clear enough and so I'm making sure the other profiles are in line.
Name: Age: 31 Rank: Head Master Abilites: Has a magick sword able to cut through most anything. It is fabled to even be able to cut through a Tell Tale Beast's book. Subject: Tamer and Tell Tale Psychology Bio: Like everyone else, Theodore had not had his first Tell Tale Beast experience until he was sixteen. It was after he had been exploring the woods did he find a cave. It seemed like any other save for an old, leather bound book. Flipping its pages, he found it empty. Or so he thought. In the middle, on one page, was a poem. He was alone, so he read it out loud. It was called, the Jabberwocky. Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.
“Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!”
He took his vorpal sword in hand; Long time the manxome foe he sought— So rested he by the Tumtum tree And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back.
“And hast thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!” He chortled in his joy.
’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.
After saying the last line, the page began to glow and the book grew searing hot. He dropped the book and the Jabberwock was freed. He screamed and stumbled back and reached into his pocket, hoping to draw his pocket knife, but it was only his pen. But in the hands of the Liddel tamers, it was the Vorporal sword. The beast roared and reared away. It was that day, he tamed the beast.
Theodore continued his training until he, like many of his family, took on the responsibility of headmaster at Teller University.
Linked to her beast they are the first things anyone sees and easiest way to find out who she is.
Tamer Appearance:
Personality: Namid is a calmer mind than most. When working with her beast she seems to be connected to him and him alone. A strong presence that seems to demand respect she is a bit intimidating at first. Especially if you are about to go against her in the show arena due to her competitive nature. Though when around those who call her friend she seems to be somewhat easy going, even one to make jokes. Shes passionate in everything she dose, and so once something is found she will become obsessed with it if it captures her interest. Never ask her what happened in that time her and her beast were gone.
Beast Name: Entai/Despair (It has different names depending on the culture) Beast Species: Mount
Beast Appearance:
Compared to a human they would be lucky to be able to reach his chest, massive thing he is.
Mundane Beast Name: Dolsha Registered name: Beautifully blind. (Equines are required to be registered under a title instead of a name) Mundane Beast Species: friesian stallion
Mundane Beast Appearance:
History: Namid came from a poor family, living penny to penny she did not get a whole lot of support for her hobbies. Everything she wanted, she had to become creative in gaining. So at a young age when she gained an interest in horses, Namid decided it was time to volunteer at a stable in exchange for riding lessons. Learning fast Namid grew to love the creatures. Growing out of the easy going nature of old schooling horses she was given ill tempered equines to start training. Strangely enough she never asked for payment from the owners yet one who came to her with a ill tempered mare insisted that she take a old worn in leather book with nothing but a burned in sigil on the cover. Not wanting to be rude Namid took the book, finding it was a strange read, only bits and pieces she could understand since only a few lines were of english but seeing the images she deducted that it had something to do with the afterlife or fantasy, cults anything that was not a good topic for normal conversation. "His hooves of thunder and fear" "Would cause those to run whenever he was seen to be near" "Carrying another on his back" "Souls would follow him like a pack" "Eyes of silver, never dying" "Not a word spoken, yet he could see if you're lying" "Fangs bared and flames alight" "He will bring forth your end" "At the vary first sight."
And that is when Dolsha came along.
He was a stunning creature. A beast like no other, only a year old and yet he towered over most. With a coat of ebony and a gaze like nothing she had ever seen she made it a life long goal to be able to find a mutual stand with the stallion. Not allowing a single person near him though caused the task to become difficult. She could not even find a single horse that would stand near him without going mad with fright by his presence. That was until her grandfather decided to give her tips, pointing out when it was good to approach Dolsha and when not to. In doing so she began to find ways to make a bond. Never step down, always demand respect and be seen as worthy in the eyes of the stallion. The sight attracting the attention of her teacher he began to really show her what she was dealing with. A beast that towered over any equine she had ever seen. With fires licking the skies and a gaze of hell itself. Reading up on him she found his tale in stores, the mount of Death himself, the carrier of the future ruler of the world, the beast who's hooves could break open the land and send those who have disobeyed to the under world. Entai,Despair,Binky, the names go on but the tale was the same. He was said to be the dealer of the dead.
Namid and Dolsha ended up creating a bond like no other. Her teacher said that he could not believe how careful Dolsha was with her. His cold gaze turning to that of trust for only her. And so she with his permission she began to take the stallion to competitions. His grace and power like no other they destroyed the grand prix and covent garden shows, taking to world championships and pulling Namid's family out of poverty. With Dolsha at her side the two made a name for themselves and in doing so they separated from Namid's teacher. A graduated student who could easily pass her knowledge down to another with the strong connection she has to her beast. Even taking on a student once only to leave after only a year of training the young tamer. Instead she found herself staying away from the world of beasts and tamers altogether. A coldness now edges her voice whenever someone asks why. Yet she can't stay hidden, even after she vanished for a few years she returned with Dolsha, her eyes are now identical to her Stallion and seem to pierce the vary soul.
Abilities: Like her tamer’s for Dolsha before her she has been given the powers of illusion. Only Dolsha himself can send souls to the underworld or punish them but the rider is able to show someone his or her own death. Easiest way to spot this is when the rider's eyes will change from just being the colour linked to Dolsha, to begin to glow and loose their pupils as well in order to pierce one's vary soul.
When in battle though, Namid has gained the weapon passed down from tamer to tamer that has been seen through almost every story when concerning the mount of the underworld. In the english term is the scythe or the harvester of souls, a strange name considering that its the beast who dose the actual harvesting.
A pair of chain scythes they are usually connected with blue flames to become an extended weapon. When riding they connect at the centrer to be the full lengthen blade.
Marinna took what she could to their cooking station. "Alright, lets start the dough." As she sifted the dry ingredients together and told Roxy, "You mix the cream cheese and the butter then add it to what I'm mixing." She walked off to grab the chicken and put it into the over to cook while the dough was getting ready. Marinna went back over to Roxy. "Just set that in the fridge to rise.
The idea of the humans closing off, or at the very least, making it more difficult, to use the portal would cause quite the issue to the court of ice, death, chaos and dreams. Humans had the most delicious musings that helped to feed her people and if the humans succeeded in shutting the Winter court away, it would cause many issues. "If any of us must do it, then I shall do it first. She looked at the other ruler and continued. "It would be in all of our best interests in the long run. Whether it on purpose or by coincidence, I believe it well worth our concern." Sorcha was already considering placing a small pack of Dire Wolves to protect the gates. "Are there any opposed to my generosity? Whether she was the one to go or not, she would have the answers she sought.
