So we have a lot of mobility options at the moment.
Out of the classes mentioned so far, we're lacking in high defense units, lance users, and bow users.
A songstress would be fairly useful, if a bit squishie. =P

@BurningDaisies Actually I see you folks discussing the weapon triangle. I can leave or keep it personally. We won't have grid movement (urgh so many turns!) but if you guys like the advantages/disadvantages of weapons, we can keep it. But the last thing I want to get into is dealing with stats or distinguishing between certain swords. Though if someone tries to fight with a parasol or some other random low grade weapon, I will be pretty fucking impressed.


I agree with Grey about handling the weapon advantage narratively. It's too awkward to shoehorn in rigid mechanics like that.

I have been toying with the concept of having small contests for certain parts of the story, I know some GMs offer some kind of challenge or wacky concept like 'Most Emotional Post' or 'Fighting with the most randomly found object' or something. I've also been toying with hiding certain items in certain areas (potions, clothing, weapons, coin etc) the way some RPGs work to spur quests or to just add to someone's inventory. Would that be interesting or too troublesome?

In Nohr, Between imouto-chan, Onii-sama, and Brigh-sensei [NPC], there's three squishie mages with lots of firepower. So we have that going for us.

We're early enough in the planning that we could put some thought into the tactical synergy of our group.

Do we want to be more mobile?
Perhaps we rely on heavy defenses?
Do we use guerrilla tactics and sabotage on a regular basis?

If you have one, what's your preference?

I like high mobility myself, especially if we're not on good terms with the local authorities. =P
I can't stay on pinterest for very long.

I'll end up making a character out of every cool pic I find. o~o;
