Yeah, starting to play the SCII custom games (Now called the arcade) is both when I discovered the internet has a lot more than just information, made my first internet friends, got into rping... *Trails off*

Then that somehow lead to steam, and then to Starbound before it came out, then, somehow, that got me onto this site like, a week before it had that huge shut down time.

I've also been thinking now that it seems like most of Mayt's development is driven from something that's wasn't planned by you to happen in the RP. The Iron Engima characters' development already seem to have a plot planned out of what would or will happen to them. But for Mayt, it seems like his development is just based on whatever happens in the RP and where he's at during that time that will effect his character.

Also, I remember you mentioned this months ago. But when I first read Mayt and Sasha's quest together when the RP started. I actually started shipping them a bit and when I heard you say that he has a secret crush on her still, I was like "yes! The shipping is true. Sorry Lazarus". Although Sasha and Lazarus are already a thing together, I do like the idea that Mayt has some feelings towards Sasha.

Heh, well, Mayt doesn't actually have a defined personality yet, he's just kind of an amalgam of indefinite personality traits right now, while most of Iron Enigma chars I can tall you what I'm trying to accomplish with them. Like, Luna, right now, is Fairy-Tail levels of loyal to her friends, but afraid of hurting people when she fights (which is why she usually holds back).

I totally did a bit of the shipping thing myself though, and it gives an excuse for Mayt to have a chip on his shoulder around Lazlo.

I mean, I don't mind not hearing people's voices, because I'm normally not the person being talked to anyway, so youtube can satisfy that for me.

I just like people 'talking' to me in some form or another every once and a while that isn't, like, my parents.

I mean, just this convo alone has been enough to cheer me up some.

Plus when I'm talking I can't spend minutes screening every word I say make sure I don't sound like an ass or a manic depressant.

Plus my comp is in the living room and I'm also that guy who hates being on the phone cus he thinks it's rude to everyone around him since they can only hear half the conversation.

And my internet is terrible. A la it going out about six times while writing this reply alone.

Since Mayt hasn't been around for awhile and you're currently working on the future arc related to Iron Engima. Do you have any plans in the future for Mayt? I would think maybe, mostly because part of me is curious about the things hidden and locked away in his mind.

I haven't actually thought about what Mayt is going to be like in the future.

But he's definitely going to end up being one of those guys that are under-confident in their abilities, but is actually fairly tough. I figure I might do a bit of occasionally having him 'unlocking' an ability while in a group, followed by a weird sudden personality shift to accompany the memories.

Nah, text is fine for me, just my friends haven't been online/responding so I've just been getting kinda lonely.

And it's spring break, which means I won't even get to talk to the at school for a week...

But I mostly just like the idea that there's another human being who cares enough to pay attention to me for any amount of time that isn't basically biologically obligated to do so.
