"I forgot the Thyme," saying this, Drake would flash Levi a quick little smile. "And several other spices, let's go." Drake would smile to herself as they went off onto the streets, and she would wait until they were a short distance from the hotel before answering his first question. "As for being a dark guild, we're called that mostly because we do a lot of espionage for other dark guilds. Though, Grant doesn't exactly refrain from killing people, nor do we distance ourselves from Solux much anyone. I personally think they're just taking advantage of the title of Dark Guild. You hungry?" Drake would turn towards Levi as she asked this, stopping as she did so.

Oh I hope you manage to acquire the DLC at some point. It has some of the more challenging boss fights imo.

Oh. Fun.

I... Half sarcastically can't wait.

Screw making a new character for that though, gonna do it on NG+ w/e!

I mostly used the Blades of Mercy so I was always good for stamina. Either that or the Rakuyo when the DLC came out.

*Doesn't have the DLC v.v*

I used Ludwig's holy blade cus it actually does a ton of damage and the one-handed version takes about as much stamina as the Blades of Mercy do, and has decent range, and don't have any other kinds of damage so you can use papers on it, and... *Goes on*

And it's the only thing I have at +10.

But! It gives almost no life back on hits.

Yeah the bumper and trigger thing is a lifesaver. Although I probably got one shot a lot because I do admit to neglecting vitality a lot. I think I ended my game with like 15 Vitality on one of my characters. I thought endurance would be better but you really don't need that much stamina in Bloodborne. Everything is so cheap, stamina wise.

Yeah, you're gonna need a bit more than 15 vitality, I think I ended my first go through the game with well more. I think I got to about 1000 life then decided "That's a good amount of life" before putting maybe one or two more stat points into it, as well as using the Caryll rune that gives life back on visceral attacks. Endurance is mostly useful if you need to stunlock enemies with light weapons or swing greatswords around. Ludwig's Holy Blade is a nightmare on stamina in greatsword form, and the Burial Blade takes 100 or so stamina to do it's charged two-handed swing.

Huh, I actually found that there were a bit more random one-shot attacks in Bloodborne. But you never really noticed it because you're so mobile in Bloodborne compared to Dark Souls, so you don't get hit by them very often. Unless you're me, and you need to git gud.

Odd, but I think it's a vitality stat problem then, I only get one-shot when I'm under leveled in a Chalice Dungeon (Beat one boss that I used all my ammo on, most got visceral attacks off, and I barely won, but that boss had easy to predict attacks) or let a really really obvious death attack from a boss hit.

Then again I'm mostly through NG+ now and I have yet to be truly frustrated with a (non-chalice) boss, and I'm also in NG+ in Darksouls uno (Haven't done anything there though), so maybe I'm just half decent at the game.

BTW you can get out of grabs by spamming the bumper and trigger buttons.

You could always adapt it so its not demonic XD

Truuuueeee

But I meant for it to be the evil opposite, or maybe the absolute (immoral) epitome of it.

It's not like Solux is a sufficient host anyway, and it does actually leave it open for other people to take over the idea and do an arc with it.

If you're okay with it, of course.

(Uhm, this'll be that last post I advocate for it though, so, uh, no guilting you into saying yes.)

"Huh. Interesting... Never heard of any of those names, though that ankhserum one sounds a bit familliar, I don't know where I would have heard it though. I'm not exactly the most book-learned mage around here," Drake would tap her chin, having watched his little demonstration rather intently. "I'm surprised with a magic that sounds that dangerous some guild hasn't come along and swept you up either in fear of you or in trying to recruit you. Though, I won't worry too much about it during the games, the only 'dark guild' that's brought their full force to the games is us, and right now most of us are pretty banged up," as she mentioned her guild getting attacked, her countenance shifted from amused to angry, but after a breath returned to amused. "Egg of Sin... That's an interesting name for it. I don't have anything quite so fancy myself, just your average rainbow fire magic, though we do have a guy who uses a lost magic," she mused for a moment, before standing up. "Walk with me, I just remembered I forgot something," Drake would move to the door and push it open as she walked out, holding it for Levi once she was outside. "Plus everything in there is recorded by Lacrima."

You would have to turn your character from a human to an Etherious Demon.

Yeah, whoops.

And that would... Actually.

That...

Might actually work.

Since the magic has already supposedly warped Solux into a twisted husk of a being that isn't human in most senses of the word, it would actually work to say a demon possessed him.

It would also fit with a potential side-arc involving him, but I will still have to clear it with Caits.
<Snipped quote by Burthstone>

Isn't that unique to demons though?

The wiki references several people-looking-people that used them though.

But looking closer they aren't people, so, uh, I'm gonna retract my request... I need to catch up on the anime x.x
So @Caits I was reading some stuff on the wiki, and I read that Curse is its own special kind of thing that's completely different from Magic, like it's based off negative feelings and such, and I was hoping I could change Sulux's magic to "Sun/Moon Curse"? And do something like he's being possessed by a demon? It would fit much better with the overall theme of his magic, and give him a reason to be super dangerous in that side-arc I proposed. Also, why do I feel like I've been bothering you a lot lately? I've literally not been on in like, seven months other than interacting with Hatakekuro's character lately v.v
