Crimmy convinced me, working on a CS right now.
"Nevertheless, my help was declined, so I will stay here. Quietly. And wait patiently."

"Thaaaaank you, Kaia."

Kaia Iona

"Mmmhmm~" She hummed, gliding around the countertop to assist in the breakfast preparation.

"You say that Cyare," the blind girl teased, tossing a smirk over her shoulder at said Tactical Mage just as casually as she had thrown the blade and bludgeon across the room at her companion. She considered mentioning the fact that throwing things worked for her far better than being stationary ever could, but...

"Any special requests? Hate for one of you to keel over in the middle of it 'cause ya didn't get enough food."

The group had started moving, that much she could infer on her own without magical intervention, latching onto one of Angel's arms out pure of force of habit. And to avoid suddenly running into anyone else in their greatly expanded group. Crowds were, for obvious reasons, not the best environment for her stumble around in.

"And don't worry about it Cyare," Kaia piped up, "I help Angel with cooking. I'm kinda... in training, sorta."

Kaia Iona

Kaia made a face in mock annoyance as once again her eight-hour hairstyle was ruffled, thought was completely unable to stop the smile from spreading across it. Angel cooking, while not rare by any stretch of the imagination, was still easily one of the best things to grace... just about anywhere under the sun. They, tragically, hadn't seemed to grasp that fact yet.

"Cyare please, you can't go fighting demons hungry," Kaia chirped, "Besides," she wrapped a possessive arm around the cook, as if to protect him from the horrors of the world at large. "You don't want to hurt his feeeeelings, right?"
Kaia Iona

For a fraction of a second Kaia paused, though really because she had been trying to get a clearer picture of both where everyone was standing and their general impressions. It went a long way in telling them apart when they weren't talking. Aye aye cap'n.

"Yeah, I haven't had the chance to beat the crap outta something in ages."

The fact that maybe (definitely!) her vision wasn't a hundred percent great didn't mean that she had any problem at all making her sightless eyes large and innocent. They couldn't possibly be monstrous enough to take that opportunity away from her, right?
Kaia Iona

"Kai-a, uh, Iona," the mentioned mage sang in response, pausing ever so slightly as her mind trudged through the just woke up don't wanna work state it was in. Suddenly, she felt a hand grasp her own, though it didn't take much for her sleep-induced foggy brain to figure out where the extremity originated. Cyare's handshake was firm, (jeez you can have the hand if you want it) yet careful in a way not unlike how Angel insisted that he guide her around.

Not that she minded it, or anything.

Speaking of which, his protests on her arm only made it that much easier for her to locate him, as the girl rotated on her heels to smirk in his direction. Requisite eyebrow raised.

yes but what did he saaay???

"Diiid he now?" Two sightless slate-hued eyes batted at the air, and sulking Jungle Boy. "Good stuff about me?"

Claims of snoring are unsubstantiated!
Kaia Iona

Kaia perked up at the familiar voice, lazily turning towards it with a content smile. Primarily because it meant she had to do less stumbling around the general area. She made a half-hearted attempt at batting away Angel's hand (she'd worked eight hours on that style), before following the offending limb to envelope its source in a quick hug.

"I was fiiine," she insisted, not that his concern wasn't completely adorable or anything. Kaia pulled away after a moment (it was just a moment!) to turn towards the general direction of Angel's previously mentioned new friend. They hadn't said anything, and she hadn't felt any sort of movement from them, though she was fairly certain that Angel wouldn't attempt to befriend a statue.

"Hi, uh, Friend," She chirped in greeting, before lowering her voice to a stage whisper, "thanks for making sure he didn't get lost-" she indicated Jungle Boy with a thumb to the side.

The heartbreaking scenario of a lone, wilderness-raised Angel lost and confused in the big city forever doomed to make amazing breakfasts and stutter around pretty girls flashed through her head. Which, of course, caused a dull ache of sympathy and concern to win over the little voice in her head that wanted to go pass out in bed again. He was probably fine. It wouldn't be hard for her to find him.

"Mkay, thanks," Kaia hummed, slipping around Not-Really-A-Morning-Guy to continue on her original path towards the lobby.

She smiled in thanks towards the general direction of Sir Inspired's voice. She probably wouldn't have to remind Angel again, he had tendency to realize after a few minutes, but they might want to invest in some thicker paper. She could read just fine herself, thank you, just needed a little help sometimes.

Kaia tilted her head to the side with a frown. "Wait they have baths here?" It was still pretty early, right? Angel was probably still there, seeing as she moved around faster than he did in the morning. It was amazing that he'd even woken up before her. "...You wouldn't happen to know where those are?"
