Current If your ears are burning, it means someone is talking about you. Usually they're saying "He's on fire."

Jumping ahead a bit there fella, ya don't even know what the area looks like yet.

"Um right, yeah! Mutts stick together!" Cedar grinned goofily as Ven spoke to him, his foxy ears wiggling slightly. "I'll see you in class!" he called after him as Ven's longer legs quickly put him ahead of the shorter Faunus.

"Of course. Huntresses must be swift, after all." Yasmin smiled coyly to both boys, batting her eyes a little bit as she walked beside them toward class, the large group giving them a pretty distinct path by this point.

"So I saw." Miss Lariet sighed, pinching her forehead slightly. "On the first day too, I hoped we'd at least make it a week before we had issues like this. Must give the nurse a mention to look out for headcases..." she continued to ramble and mumble to herself as she moved with the crowd.

The classroom they arrived in was probably the largest in the entire Academy. That wasn't saying much right now considering none of them had seen the other classrooms yet, but it was a pretty fair estimate. There were two blocks of seats on either side of the door they entered from, simple but comfortable seats in rows of 8, fitting for the teams that would occupy them. In the middle of the room was a large raised circular platform with a lower ring to make it easier to step up to, taking up the majority of the space in the classroom. At the far end of the room, opposite the door, was a small terminal in place of a traditional teacher's desk with a seat behind it, reeking of Atlas designed tech. Above the terminal were two large, currently blank screens, their purpose unclear.

Once the students were seated, miss Lariet did a dainty little hop onto the raised platform and stood in the middle of it, hands behind her back as she cleared her throat and put on her best smile for the students.

"Welcome, first years, to combat class. I am Miss Lariet, your teacher for this class over the coming semester. In combat class, we aim to test your strength and abilities in match ups against other students in this school. This will include one on one matches, tag team rounds, full team based battles and further variations, all will be used to help improve your finesse, teamwork and synergy in both standard fights and working with your team. So, let me explain how this is going to work." She held up a small remote in one hand and pressed the button. Behind her, the two screens lit up with two large images, two wheels laden with the names of each student in the class.

"First of all, any of you are welcome to volunteer to come down for a fight, in fact it's a good sign of confidence. But if no-one has the guts, we'll be using these wheels to randomly decide match ups from the entire class, so don't be shy!" She smiled again, keeping up her enthusiasm. "Oh and, a quick mention, i've asked our school nurse to attend this first class in case of injuries, so don't worry." she gestured to her left where, on the other side of the room, another woman was standing attentively.

"Hello everyone!" She beamed and waved a little too over excitedly at them. She was dressed as you'd expect a nurse to be, a white dress shirt with a band around her arm with a red cross, a black business skirt that reached her knees, tights and dress shoes. Her hair was a far more vibrant blonde than Miss Lariet, outright golden and easily long enough to reach just above the floor... it was worth noting as well, her curvature probably shouldn't have been able to physically exist on a human being without extreme back pain.

"So, will anybody step up?" Miss Lariet addressed the crowd.
@Sho Minazuki
Trust me, it'll be a while but I think you'll like where I go with it. I didn't even plan for this, this just falls perfectly into place.
His motion was succesful as he managed to make it past the incoming shields, leaving him an open path to attack the Demon Greatshield itself. the shield hovered, eyes upon him, awaiting his move with its back still protected.

"Codename Nightlocke, ready." Victor Mane said quickly, having suited up in a hazmat suit, complete with a helmet covering his face and some semblances of body around on the outside. He picked up a simple M17 pistol and pocketed it, along with a KG9 Submachine gun, plus ammo packs.

"Codename Howitzer, oui." Joan Galliard geared up, dressing in heavy flak attire with a face guard helmet for her explosive protection. Alongside that, she took an ICS-190 Grenade Launcher and a Star Model 14 pistol at her side.

"Codename Shinto." Akagi Tetsuno confirmed before he dressed himself, somewhat lighter attire than the rest of them with a simple combat vest, boots and wrapping a sash around his head. He geared up with a simple but effective M4 and his personal choice of knuckle dusters as an alternative.

"Codename Seacole." Another familiar face stepped up beside the rest of them, their German field medic Anna Schultz. She put on relatively light attire, packing herself down with medical supplies and a simple tactical 12 gauge shotgun should she ever need to defend herself. The medic was somewhat pretty, light blonde hair kept in a tight bun behind her head and a soft face with pretty blue eyes. It was hardly a wonder she'd been picked for BACTIS.

Once they'd all compiled into the helicopter, their pilot shut the doors and began to take off, the heavy mechanical vehicle picking up air as it elevated off of the ship's top before flying out over the ocean toward their destined goal.

They were off... and all that awaited them, was their target.

Time: 12:30.
Location: Barcelona, Spain.

The chopper touched down atop a small flat open rooftop in the middle of downtown, the pastel colours of the local buildings standing out in the sunshine... unfortunately it also made the rising plumes of fire and smoke from nearby car wrecks and signs of mayhem all the uglier. There wasn't much in the ways of undead or anything that looked to be moving... for the time being. How they proceeded from here would be their decision. There was road below them and a number of ways they could go, once they were at street level.

"Good luck!" their pilot called out to them before he took off, leaving them in the dead of town.
@Qro
Yes, most likely. It just helps to be admitting people into pairs at this point so I don't have to keep making 3 OCs or jumbling teams around mid RP, see. Sorry but there's not much of a better solution at present.
@Sho Minazuki
Ta.
@Qro
Alright, given it a once over. I'd say everything looks just fine. Hopefully once @Tiggas finishes their bio, we'll be able to slip you in with a team tout sweet.
@Sho Minazuki
Yo, quick thing that might come into play later, how old was Asher when he was adopted by his new family?

"My lack of discipline?" Silas turned to Ven and frowned as the situation turned upon them. "I don't control what Terrance does, nor if your friend is an clumsy fool who tripped over his own feet. You're not giving us much incentive to cave with all these insults, either, very rude." Terrance's teeth grit behind him and he seemed to be winding up a punch, though he was holding his fist aimed at his hand.

"ENOUGH!" A loud voice barked suddenly as from the canteen doorway, Yasmin had returned and had brought Miss Lariet with her. She looked as she did yesterday, her strawberry blonde curls hanging from her head and her clothing similarly floral, but you could tell she was cross from how her face was scrunched up. Though really, it looked more like a cute pout than it was intimidating as she stepped inbetween both groups and scowled at them both. "All of you, to class, right now. If you want to fight, do it in the ring. I'll have no more of this."
Terrance and Silas were both taken aback, but both clearly had the brains to know when to back down, as they nodded silently and quickly made tracks to go to class.
"Thanks guys." Cedar piped up as the crowds finally began to disperse and he popped up next to Ven and Asher.
Yeah sorry about that, been a touch busy.
@Qro
