Sorry guys. I'm not really sure how to approach playing the head master as Ish, you didn't give me much to go on, and so I'm just playing him as simply as I can. Hopefully that doesn't ruin anything and I will admit I don't plan to play him much if at all if I don't need to...? I think the story can progress without someone playing him, but that's just me. Anyhow, I posted. it wasn't the greatest but ah well. Anyhow. I'm tired and gonna head to bed so I will probably post again tomorrow if there is something to respond to!!! :)

Lysander took one more look out the door into the courtyard before firmly closing the door shut behind them. He slid to the ground, breathing heavily. The girl had saved his life, and risked her own by taking him in, but he wasn't sure he could trust her yet."Listen," he panted, collecting his breath, "All I can tell you right now is that there are bad people trying to capture and kill me. I wish I could tell you everything, but it's too dangerous. I'm sorry I have to be like this." He stood up and walked to the two nearest windows facing into the courtyard, pulling the blinds down. "I need somewhere to lay low for awhile. If I can throw off their trail once they've lost me, I can strike back and kill the problem at its source, but if that assassin was after me then they know where I am and I can't be sure I'm safe." He pulled the bottom corner of the blinds up a few inches and peered cautiously into the courtyard."However, it would be wrong to jeopardize your safety and those around you in my protection. If they find me, they will attack in force." He pulled his pistol out of his holster and began refilling the clip with bullets from a pouch, while looking at the girl and waiting for an answer.

Vesper listened to Lysander speak until he was finished, and thought about what he said before answering him. Before she could speak, a tall man with a long, white beard approached almost silently despite his size in comparison to her. Vesper looked up at him in silence a moment, trying to wipe the half dried blood off of her pale skin.

"I couldn't help but over hear your situation. Might I suggest staying here for a while? Oculus could use a couple of members like you two. We can provide you with the safety and shelter you need..." the man persuaded. Vesper assumed he was the Head-Master of the guild he spoke of, and looked to Lysander hoping for a sign of approval to the idea. She figured there was no where else they could really go without their lives being risked, so this was a good a place as any. She knew also, that despite barely knowing anything of Lysander except for his situation, she felt the need to help him. "I would hate for something bad to happen. I can stand my ground if need be, don't worry," Vesper said, smiling faintly.

She had never really been in much trouble before, so this was another first for her as well. In a way she found it funny that so much could have happened on the first day here. She shook her head slightly, turning to attention to Lysander now, to hear what he thought of the idea.

Lysander was taken aback by the small girl's quick reaction to the hooded man; in a swift and bloody move, she had slain him mercilessly. There was certainly more to her than he had thought. He knelt beside the body and pulled the hood up. The man's face was literally blank, featureless and smooth. As he had feared, this was one of the Faceless, a society of assassins that were known to cater to the Legion. It was a miracle they had survived the four attacks today. But it was now clear that the Legion knew of Lysander's place of hiding. He could not stay, and yet he could not leave, for the assassins were no doubt watching all exits. However, it was unlikely they would dare attack a fighter's guild in force. He turned to the girl, who's previously pale and pure frame was flecked with blood. "Please, hide me!" he deplored, breaking the sense of superiority and pride he had often felt as a soldier. That part of him was gone. "I'll do whatever it takes."

"Come this way." Nyx landed back onto her shoulder, her talons covered in skin and blood. Vesper turned in the direction of the Head-Quarters, unsure if they would find safety there, but knowing they had no other choice considering it was the only building she was told of. A million questions zipped through her head, wondering if the assassin was meaning to attack her, or to attack Lysander, but she knew now was not the time for inquiries. Easily she began to sprint, Nyx barely moving on her shoulder while she ran, her long pale green hair flowing out behind her. She only looked back once to make sure Lysander was still behind her, before arriving at the tall brick building Iron-Clad had called the Head-Quarters. She pushed through the doors, feeling eyes on her as she did so, holding it open just long enough for Lysander to follow inside. "What in the world is going on?" she asked finally, her eyes focused on Lysander, "Do you know who that was?"
Sorry didn't see the post about the bold... :/

Lysander jumped at the sound of a voice addressing him. He had been lost in thought considering his next move; it was unlikely that he could stay in the city, for the assassins would soon learn of his whereabouts. He could try fleeing to one of the outlying provinces, but security at the gates of the city was tight due to past encounters with the Plague. As he pondered, he was interrupted. He looked up sharply and saw a small girl with a white owl perched on her shoulder. She seemed friendly enough, but Lysander found it odd to be approached by a stranger in what appeared to be a rather belligerent guild. After all, the girl did not strike him as the fighting type. He answered warily."I, ah, yes. I'm fine, thanks."
He noticed a clear note of paranoia in his voice, but hoped it did not reach the girl. His hand tightened around the hilt of his sheathed katana.

Vesper's yellow eyes noticed he tightened his grip on the hilt of his katana, and she took a step back gently. She watched his hand for a moment before returning her gaze to his face. "Are you sure? I'm kind of new but I know the way to the Head-Quarters if you need help finding it?" she suggested. She wasn't sure if he was new too, but figured since he seemed a little off, maybe he was and was simply nervous. She knew she would want to be helped in the same type of situation, although sometimes she could be fairly naive. "Uhm, my name is Athena Cadence Vesper Thannel, by the way.." She hoped he would lighten up a little after learning something about her.

Once she was finished speaking, she peered around, taking in details easily with quick glances. There were still two men sparring in the ring a ways away, and the spectators were still being loud with excitement. Despite the noise from guild members around the grounds, Vesper turned her head towards one of the walls that stood fairly far behind her to her left, which attached to the main gate just as Nyx made a high pitched screech, warning Vesper of danger. Her eyes narrowed and everything switched into slow motion, her eyes taking in everything at once, allowing her to calculate her movements easily. A cloaked male was moving towards her and Lysander quickly, and in one smooth motion she shifted her right shoulder and arm out horizontally. Nyx spread her wings open fully, her wingspan reaching just over 5 feet, and moved up into the air above Vesper before swooping down towards the cloaked man, her talons digging through the mans cloak and into his shoulder, tearing some of the skin away to reveal bone and blood.

The man doubled over momentarily before picking himself back up and continuing forward towards them. Vesper quickly moved towards him likewise, her talon tipped fingers reaching down for her blades, unsheathing them from her thighs. The man was nearly a foot and a half away from her as she kicked her right leg out, bringing it in a crescent moon out in front of her, her bare heel connecting with his jaw, an audible crack sounding around her. Her green hair whipped around her shoulders as she moved, watching the man begin to fall. His head lolled back and to the side slightly as he fell, allowing Vesper to take her blades, placing them in an X shape across his neck, nearly decapitating him before he hit the ground beneath his dark cloak.

Vesper peered at him a moment before turning back to Lysander, wiping her blades on the grass and sheathing them as Nyx landed back on her shoulder.

As the armored police broke through the crowd with truncheons, Lysander ducked through the Guild's gate, pulling it quietly closed behind him. He had stepped into the courtyard of the guild, and could see a fighting ring where two warriors were sparring, several bystanders cheering them on, and a girl talking to a heavily armored man under a tree. It appeared to be some sort of fighter's guild, though he couldn't be sure just from what he currently saw. Lower class soldiers in the Legion were known to frequent such establishments discreetly to train on their spare time. Lysander made sure his weapons were tightly secured to his body and walked forward. Several of the bystanders gave him wary looks, but none confronted him. He sat down on a crude bench made from rough wood and began considering his next move.

Jin's gauntlet lifted, directing the aim of his index finger towards a massive building. "" Examining the area while speaking he spots Lysander sitting on a bench. Jin's arms lower to a dangle against his sides. Focus not on anything particular, in fact his helmet could be seen scanning the Guild grounds. Trying to remember anything else of importance to inform Vesper of. "If you're wondering I hail for Oculus." Were the last words to echo through Jin's helmet.

Vesper thanked Iron-Clad, looking in the direction he was pointing, and noticed Lysander sit down as well, before heading off in that direction. She wondered about the Guild Iron-Clad hailed from, and what it might involve. She wondered if she would fit into it, or if one of the other two would suit her better. She began to doubt she might fit into any Guild, considering her gift. She hoped to be reassured when she got to the Head-Quarters. Nyx ruffled her feathers and peered at Lysander as they grew closer to him, and Vesper's attention turned to him, despite she had never met him before. Come to think of it, she hadn't really had many friends at all, considering how she was raised. She smiled faintly, slowing down to take in Lysander's expression. He looked to be contemplating, and she tilted her head. "Hello. Are you okay?" she asked.
Vesper watched Jinx take her leave before turning her attention back to Iron-Clad, who had asked her a couple of questions, only one which she was sure of. "Most people call me Vesper, but I don't mind being called Athena," she paused for a moment, thinking about the answer to his second question, "I'm not entirely sure yet, I just arrived here today. How would one go about finding out?" Vesper tilted her head to the side as she countered his question with one of her own.
Sorry my posts are sucking :( !!
Vesper peered at Iron-Clad for a moment after he introduced himself, her eyes bright and intrigued. Nyx shifted on her shoulder slightly, looking towards the tall man as well as he stood. "'Tis a pleasure to meet you than, Iron-Clad. My name is Athena Cadence Vesper Thannel. But you can call me Vesper. And this is Nyx," she pointed her chin in the owl's direction. She then looked towards the other female who had introduced herself as Jinx, noticing Jinx smiled at her. In response she smiled back a little, her thoughts wandering.

By this time she wondered when she would learn more of the Guild and what it fully represented, as she had just been accepted into it the same day. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, Nyx following suit. Vesper smiled a little to herself as Nyx copied her movement. She had loved her since the day she received her, and grew to love her more every day. Sometimes she wondered if her and Nyx's souls were connected. Vesper then shook her head, realizing she hadn't been paying attention.
