Just as Reia was about to step onto the train again to leave, she turned her head, hearing shouting. She saw Welkins running at full speed towards her and her eyes widened slightly. What in the heck was he doing? She was sure she hadn't forgotten anything, and her mind went through an imaginary check list. Her brows furrowed and he spoke to her, out of breath. "Reia I can't let you go without telling you this." He coughed a little then stood up straight. "I'm in love with you. I don't know why and I don't know how, but I'm in love with you. I know it's only been a few days, but It's just how I feel. I've never felt this strongly about anyone before."
Reia shifted her attention from Welkins to the big station clock and saw the train would be leaving literally within a couple of minutes. She wasn't sure what to say. She just met this guy. Yes he was sweet, and yes they went on a date. But that doesn't mean she was in love with him. She didn't know anything about him, if she was honest. She tried her best not to sound rude. There was a pressure on her shoulders now that there wasn't before. She liked him, but she definitely wasn't in love with him. She knew that for sure. Reaching out, Reia grabbed Welkins hands gently and began to speak, her words coming out fast but still understandable, "Welkins... I really need to go. And I'm sorry. I don't mean to sound rude. But you can't love somebody you just met..." She looked at him and then winced inwardly. "I'm really sorry. We will talk more when I'm back..." And with that she began to turn to take the step onto the train. She could feel annoyed stares from people on board who were wanting to leave. The station clock chimed and steam puffed up from the small stack at the front of the train.
