"It's not like you won't be able to come and go as you please? This is just temporary. Until we can ensure that no one is in danger. It'll just be safer that way. Plus, Danny can come visit you in the Capitol whenever he likes," Neveah said softly, leading the way through the forest. She was silent after that for a little while, considering his question about why she would help him.

"I don't want people to resort to violence. I don't care what race you are, everyone deserves to be happy and live a good life," she said finally. "I just don't understand why people find it so radical to be accepting of others."

While they talked, the came to be walking along a simple path through the trees. It would lead them into the back area of the castle. Neveah had created this path to get to and from the forest and her quarters easily, though it wasn't like she couldn't maneuver around the trees. As the forest thinned out, they came into a courtyard filled with flowers and greenery. It was lit up with outdoor lanterns and pathway lights.

"This is my courtyard. Once we leave the castle grounds it won't take long to bring you to your new house," she said softly.
"We can leave now. And don't worry, I'll have someone keeping an eye on you, besides myself. I have the perfect place in mind that you can live in for the time being, I think you'll like it," she said softly, watching his expressions. It was hard to tell how he was feeling since his expression hadn't changed much.

Since Neveah knew that for the moment, Aerendyl was safe, they could take their time heading back to the Capitol. But this also made her nervous because it would open a window for conversation of any sort, and she wasn't sure what she would, and wouldn't be willing to share with him. He probably didn't care about her life what so ever anyway. Before they could leave however, she would have to wait for him to gather everything he would want and need.

Neveah's own backpack stood at her feet gently and she glanced at it. She reached down and pulled her phone out just in case someone had tried to get a hold of her, but her screen was blank.
Neveah hesitated when he asked who it was that told her of him. Even though Lucius was being ridiculous, he was family and she didn't want to rat him out, just in case.

"He's a leader of a small coven. I wouldn't worry. But I did want to warn you just in case." She frowned softly at his mention of leaving. She barely knew him, but something inside of her wanted to. This thought alone made her shake her head. She knew she was being foolish. Even if things were going well with the humans, it was unheard of for a werewolf and a vampire to be friends, let alone anything else.

Werewolves were just beginning to be accepted into society, which Neveah felt was strange because if anything they should fear the vampires more. They were quicker, stronger, and it was easier for a vampire to pretend to be human if they wanted to get close to prey upon someone who didn't suspect them. She figured maybe they romanticized vampires in some way, though. Neveah was silent for a while before speaking up again to make a suggestion.

"Maybe you could come stay in the capitol for a while. It's not all vampires there. There are humans and other creatures too. Families, shops, you name it..."
Neveah paced around outside the bathroom, waiting for Aerendyl to be finished showering. Slowly the scent of blood left the area, and she breathed out slowly, not realizing she had been holding her breath. She eventually heard the shower stop and the remaining water go down the drain, and she took a couple steps back away from the bathroom door. A little but of rustling around, and the turn of the handle, and Aerendyl was back standing near her.

"What do I owe the pleasure?" he asked her.

This made Neveah laugh for a moment. But the laughter faded as quickly as it had come. She shifted to sit down in his living area, and motioned for him to join her.

"A Coven leader has come to me about you. He said that you are a threat to my kind, and he wants to come and kill you. I forbade him to do so, but I'm not sure he will listen..." she said slowly, watching Arendyl's face for a reaction of some kind.

"He said it was because you don't belong to a pack."
Neveah's eyes widened because she immediately smelled fresh, warm blood. It wasn't often she got to feed so purely. The scent overwhelmed her, distracting her from the task at hand. She stumbled back slightly and knocked into something huge and heavy. She shook her head out to try and clear her mind, and the second scent she smelled was Aerendyl. And then she heard his voice.

"Neveah? What are you doing here? I thought I'd never see you again."

"Why are you covered in so much...blood..." she had turned around at this point and was looking over his body slowly, watching the crimson liquid flow down his body, which she realized was without clothes. She tried to avert her gaze and failed for a moment, blushing beneath her ever pale skin. She took a step away and glanced down eventually. She tried to focus but was having a really hard time.

"I think you should maybe shower... And get dressed before I tell you what I came here to talk to you about?" she whispered, watching her feet in the dirt below.
After a few hours passed, Neveah returned back to the castle with a deer and a decent sized hare. She was happy with herself and hummed a little as she dropped them off at the butchers. They would take care of it for her and then have it delivered to her kitchens. Most humans assumed that Vampires couldn't eat human food. They could, it just didn't get rid of their true thirst, plus most of it tasted bland unless it was fairly raw. Wine however was delicious, and almost all vampires enjoyed it, though their tolerance for alcohol was extremely high.

The hunting got the thought of Aerendyl from her mind for most of the day. But days began to blend together as time went on, and it took every effort to get him out of her thoughts, even though their meeting wasn't in the best nature. Eventually though he was gone from her mind, except for when she slept when pictures of him entered her thoughts unwillingly by her. She always awoke annoyed and anxious after dreams like that.

After a month had passed, Neveah was called into a private council with a Vampire from another coven not too far away. Though Neveah ruled all of the Vampires currently, with help of course, there would always be other covens around the world. This Vampires name was Lucius, and Neveah was familiar with him because he was her brother. Only a few years younger, which is why she was crowned before him.

"I've received information about a wolf that doesn't belong to a pack, residing in a small village not far from here. I fear he could become dangerous. I think we should eliminate him immediately, before he becomes a real threat. I heard he has no control over himself especially during the full moon. He goes by Aerendyl." Lucius said sternly.

Neveah's eyes widened slightly at the mention of Aerendyl. She never paid much mind to what the wolves did until this moment though.

"Lucius, we don't need to kill every little thing that may become a threat to our kind. We are fierce predators. But that doesn't require us to bring death to everything. I can go check it out, though there really won't be much I can do given this creatures race. I'm not sure why you wouldn't go to one of the wolf packs and speak to their alpha about this instead?" Neveah questioned Lucius, her eyes slightly narrowed.

"You know how they are. They would have killed me more than likely right off the bat. Just like this one will do if we don't deal with it, sister." When he said sister, the word was drawn out sarcastically, causing Neveah to roll her eyes.

"You're not killing him. That's final."

Lucius looked at her, his expression agitated.

"Well, when your people die because of your reckless decisions, don't come to me for help," he said, his voice acidic.

"Lucius..." she began, though he cut her off.

"Don't, Neveah. Sometimes death really is the answer, despite your delirious ideals of the world living in perfect harmony without it."

With that Lucius got up and disappeared from the castle and headed back toward his home. And once Neveah knew for certain no one else was around, she shouted and shoved the side table away from her, causing it to crash onto the cement below, breaking the glass into small pieces. She hung her head, annoyed. She would have to go and warn him, at the very least. She stood, cleaning up the glass quickly before heading off to speak with her second hand, Fae. After a quick discussion, Fae agreed to take Neveah's place for the time being. Once that was settled, she went to her quarters and packed a small bag of clothing and her cell phone and charger, and a few other random items she might need. Double checking her quarters and locking her door behind her, Neveah disappeared in a B line straight for Aerendyl's house, and this time it only took her an hour or so.

She snuck around the back and shifted to his front door once she ensured everything seemed normal, and pounded on his door loudly.
After a couple of hours, Neveah came into the Capitol's city limits. At this point her arms were growing a little sore from being in the same position for the entire time, holding Caspar. As Neveah neared the populated areas, she could hear partying, music and celebrations of all kinds. She knew some of the vampires would be out hunting, some would be having sex, some dancing, singing and so on. The full moon was always a celebration. It was the same for witches as well. The moon was powerful, for every race whether the outcome was good or bad. The thought of this brought her mind back to Aerendyl. She wondered how he was faring after leaving. It had been a few hours since he had disappeared from that forest, and Neveah could tell it was roughly half midnight.

Finally she reached the castle, and brought Caspar inside. She was beginning to wake up, so Neveah quickened her pace to deliver her to the security area. Caspar would have to be held for now, but it wouldn't be so bad considering the holding area in the capitol was more house like than cell like. Once Caspar had calmed down, since Neveah knew she would be furious, Neveah would go and speak with her. At that time, she'd try and convince her to stay and join them as a community. Really the living situations in the capitol were fantastic, but it took a lot to get it that way. Things had been chaos before Neveah was crowned. The only reason she had been crowned though, was because it was in her blood. There were always going to be older, and wiser vampires that would possibly be better at the job, but this was the way.

Caspar began to grumble and shift in Neveah's arms, but instead of immediately waking up and bolting away from her, Caspar snuggled into Neveah. Definitely child like, she thought to herself. She entered the castle grounds and was greet by security as well as Emmanuel and Xavier. She purred at the boys and handed Caspar to the guards, who took her to the cells until morning.

"Sorry I took so long. I wanted to be back for the beginning of the celebrations, but there is still many hours in the night for us," Neveah said, smiling softly at Emmanuel and Xavier. There was nothing formal she had to do at this point, so she guided the three of them to her quarters. It was roughly half 2 am at this point, and once inside her door, she shut it tightly. The boys were eager and purred at her. Emmanuel moved to the bed and got it ready, placing the covers down and folded gently, propping and fluffing the pillows up. He then moved to the door and locked it. Once he was satisfied that no one could enter without permission, he went and ensured the light proof curtains were shut snugly. Glancing at his work, he nodded, his locks of hair around his face bobbing with the motion. He them climbed up and into the bed, removing his snug fitting suit jacket before doing so, and hanging it on the headboard corner. He watched Neveah move around the room.

Xavier on the other hand, followed Neveah around, keeping close by her. Neveah shifted, turning on the sink in her bathroom and washing her face. She had dirt on her at this point, and it called for a quick shower. She turned the water on and with her back to Xavier, he approached her from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist. She melted into his chest, purring softly in her throat. His hips pressed up against her rear, and her eyes closed. Xavier's hands traveled from her hips to her breasts and he then took her dress off, placing it neatly on the counter. She was naked beneath, and she stepped forward away from him and into the shower. A few minutes later, she was in the water and washing off the dirt from the day.

Once finished in the shower, she stepped out and grabbed a plush feeling towel, which was warmed by a holder close by. Xavier must have also moved to the bed because he was no longer waiting in the bathroom. Neveah breathed out, feeling the power of the moon through her blood and venom. She dried off and shifted, turning off all but one dimly lit light in the entire area, and climbed onto the bed. Emmanuel was still wearing most of his clothing, but Xavier was fully nude.

She started with Emmanuel, knowing he'd allow her to remove his clothing, which she did easily, placing it in a pile on the floor. Once both men were naked though, they touched her skin with their cool fingertips, enticing her with ease. She shifted to straddle Xavier, and then stopped as she suddenly became nauseas. This was unusual and she moved off and away from them, the feeling subsiding slowly. She went to the sink and sipped at some water, looking at the men on her bed silently for a moment.

"I'd like you two to leave please." Neveah said, her words warm but firm. The men looked at her, their expressions confused but did as they were told, dressing and disappearing from her quarters. Her stomach eased immediately once they were gone and she frowned. So much for that party, she thought. She shrugged and got into a nice set of silk pajamas before heading down to the kitchen for a glass of blood laced wine. Chefs and sous chefs were bustling about and handed her the glass quickly. She sat on a wooden bench inside the kitchens and sipped at the wine slowly, her brow furrowed slightly. Neveah finished the glass some time later and decided to just turn in for the day. It was nearly 6 am at this point and she headed off to bed.

-------------------------

Around 10 am Neveah was woken by the sound of her cell phone alarm. The day after the full moon was meant for relaxing, and she sighed softly. She got out of bed and got ready for the day, even though she had nothing on the agenda. She got dressed into a simple pair of grey joggers with a slim fitting corset for her top. It pushed her breasts up and together, though they were mostly covered by her long white hair. She decided she would do some meager hunting in the valley just a couple minutes away from the castle, and headed out to the valley within a few minutes. She had two daggers and a bow and quiver with silver tipped arrows strapped to her back, and she lurked around in the trees, watching small animals like rabbit and fox run about. Normally she would hunt with just her vampire senses, but she wanted to practice her hand with her weapons, since she hadn't for some time.
When Aerendyl snarled louder at Neveah, she hesitated before placing her hand on his muzzle. She let out a soft sigh when she saw he was beginning to relax for the moment. But just as quickly as he had stopped growling, he pulled away from her and ran away in the opposite direction. Neveah's shoulders lowered, since they'd been tensed upward toward her jaw most of the time. She was scared even though her expressions didn't show she was. Okay... Now to deal with Caspar, she thought.

She turned around silently, checking to ensure Caspar was still there. Caspar was still knocked out, leaning against the tree, and since Neveah felt it was safe now, she really took a few moments to look at the other woman. She had gorgeous olive colored skin and her hair was a mousy kind of brown. When Neveah stepped closer, she saw Caspar also had freckles and a sharp, angled jaw and nose. Her lips were small, but it suited her face shape. She also had a very child like aura about her. Neveah hoped that once Caspar was in the hands of the council, she'd be more willing to cooperate about learning.

Leaning down, Neveah scooped Caspar up into her arms, and she kind of rag dolled there. She wasn't heavy by any means, but it would slow Neveah down slightly. This wasn't the forest Neveah came through when she first arrived earlier this morning, but she could easily tell which way was home, and turned in the right direction. Though before she left, she took one more look over her shoulder the way that Aerendyl had gone, and then disappeared back to the Capitol.
Once Neveah had finished binding Caspar in a way she couldn't escape, her eyes locked onto Aerendyl as he began to change forms. She knew this could be extremely dangerous, and it would be fairly difficult for her to escape while also bringing Caspar with her. Immediately she made a decision and shifted Caspar so she sat against the base of a tree, close enough to be in sight of Neveah but not too close. Neveah then shoved her index and middle fingers of her right hand down between Caspar's collar bone and shoulder blade and immediately Caspar was unconscious. She should remain that way for a few hours, she figured.

Neveah then turned to face Aerendyl again and she let out a slow, raspy breath. She knew if she ran, he'd chase her down, creating the familiar game of cat and mouse. If she stayed he'd probably attack her anyway but the area they were in was small and it would make it harder for him to reach her between the bushes and trees. She wondered briefly if she could speak to him in a way that might turn him off of attacking her. The worst case scenario in that, was that it didn't work. Best case, it did. She figured she'd give it a shot.

"Aerendyl, I know right now you are probably uncomfortable by me being here... But you can let me leave. You don't have to do this, you know?" she said, her voice soft and soothing. She decided then to reach her hand out toward his muzzle. She'd risk losing her hand doing so, but did it anyway.
As Aerendyl headed outside, Neveah followed and watched as the wolf locked his door. "Of course I heard what he said. He's way off on what he thinks is going on though. But enough about that, where did Caspar head off to?" she asked him curiously. Once Aerendyl began to lead Neveah to the place Caspar disappeared into, she caught scent of the woman easily. Her smell was stronger than most vampires she knew, probably due to her being fairly newly born. It was the only logical explanation Neveah could think of that would explain why she was hunting so recklessly. It can take decades or longer to learn to control yourself, even when under the wing of a much older vampire.

"What we will do is when we can find her, take her from either side. Hopefully it doesn't end in death." Neveah stated, moving extremely quickly now that she was on Caspar's trail. She only glances back a handful of times to see if Aerendyl was keeping up. She knew he would be much stronger and quicker once in his wolf form, but he was afraid of causing havoc, and so she figured she'd have to adjust herself to his elven form for now. Once Caspar's scent was extremely strong, Neveah shifted her glance from the ground to her immediate surroundings. They were at the edge of a forest.

She stopped running and crept just inside the forest line. She inhaled again slowly, her eyes turning west. Neveah let herself smile just a little, knowing that west from here didn't lead to much but a cliff side and some streams. She pointed in the direction so Aerendyl could follow, though she didn't move immediately, waiting to make sure he didn't have any suggestions before they continued.
