Could we have a list in the OOC showing which characters are in the CDC facility and not?
What Hellis is getting at, is that AH explicitly writes in his latest post that Henry is the one who actually kills the Nixie, while it doesn't appear so in Crabmeat's post. Amirite?
Been without internet for a while, though not to worry. I've got it back now. Had to rewrite my post from scratch as a lot of things happened while my internet was down, but it's posted now! :)
Anselm Dunn - Giant of Albion

Dunn's vision cleared, and he looked at the chaos in front of him. Standing a good eighty yards from the battle, Dunn noticed one of the monumental creatures was already defeated. Or was it "already"? How long had the transformation taken? He didn't know. What he did know, was that the other anubis was presently under attack by Dunn's fellow associates. It appeared furious, wildly slashing the massive blade at its tiny opponents. Dunn was soaring. He felt his strength coursing throughout his body. Every transformation was unbelievable painful, yet the feeling of essentially being brought back to life was always worth it. Huge amounts of adrenaline already pumped through Dunn's veins, invigorating his senses as he began to stride forward.

He vaguely heard his name being shouted through the chaos, recognizing the voice of the Russian wight. Trip it up? What was he, a midget? After glancing once again at the towering living statue, Dunn supposed that in this case, he was. He reached out and grabbed a pillar close by, ripping off a good seven meters of it in one go. Wielding it like a huge club, Dunn burst into a run, charging at the freakishly big beast while the goddess appeared, attacking the anubis. With every step, the floor reverberated and cracked beneath Dunn as his pace quickened, his huge strides closing the eighty yard gap fast. And then suddenly, the whole damn library seemed to erupt around him. A huge, hot chunk of stone landed straight in front of Dunn, who stopped in his stride. Flames suddenly licked the walls and shelves as human-sized scarabs came crawling out of the stonework. What the fuck?

And then Isis appeared, spouting warnings of guardians. Dunn saw the other Bain & Hoyle employees scatter from the anubis, hurriedly making their way towards the now unguarded doorway. Behind them, the mummy re-appeared. He did something, and then suddenly an otherworldly darkness started forming at the mummy's feet, as he turned his back on Dunn and started walking towards the doorway. Whatever that darkness was, Dunn guessed he would not want it between him and his goal, opting to pass through the darkness before it grew even thicker.

Hearing the scarabs approaching behind him, Dunn hurled the massive pillar in his hands with great force, sending it flying straight through the on-coming horde. He then started running, quite possibly for his life, clearing the darkness in one, big jump before it swallowed everything in the mummy’s wake. Dunn landed directly in front of the Egyptian - damn near on him - before continuing towards the dark hole that was the doorway.

I think it *could* work out, to change some things so that the statues noticed Anslem changing, and targeted him, much less impact to what's already written if it needs to be changed. A thought, though? I get why you grouped his transformation into one post, and your initial comment in the OOC helped a bit... But it's still difficult when no one knows exactly how long said transformation should take. Does Anslem just miss the opening salvos? Is he out for almost the entire fight? If other writers want to acknowledge him in the battle (Either to try and fight alongside, or protect while he transforms) that kind of ambiguity makes it difficult for them to judge.Semyon was hoping for a giant, ass-kicking buddy at his side, but he can just as easily drop into VIP-protection mode: He just needs to know when to do which.

I realize it might be somewhat difficult. The reason I didn't state specifically when during the battle Dunn would be ready, was because I didn't know how the battle would play out, nor how drawn-out it might be.

But it's okay. I will edit my post in a way to make it work, and none of you will need to edit yours. I'll simply have Dunn starting his transformation immediately when arriving at the library, possibly somehow quickened by the presence of Isis.

Let my next post even the playing field a little before you change stuff around too much.

No problem.

If you edit your post entirely, you'll have undone what Heroes did when he had the second Anubus charge the giant Anselm in the first place, and the fact that both Veti and Semyon have just blinded it, AND Semyon has called to Anselm to do what he can to take it down/finish it off. And thank you LP, very much!

As I stated in the OOC* after posting in the IC, it takes time for him to transform, making those mentionings odd to begin with. I can adapt, leave it as is and post accordingly, but any hulking out - as well as reversing - in the future takes time. It's not something done with the bat of an eye (this is a decision I've made merely to limit Dunn's abilities, and make it more "believable"), and it's also against Dunn's nature to blindly charge things he knows is out of his league - otherwise he wouldn't have become as old as he as.

As such, I just want to make it clear that that quick of a transformation is beyond his abilities and that his behaviour is uncharacteristic; he wont behave similarly in the future.

Let's say roughly a hundred feet tall or so.

God damn! That's a lot bigger than I thought (the use of the word "gigantic" to describe its size might have influenced that)! If that's the case, I've jumped the gun having Dunn thinking he could take them on, thus turning, as he wouldn't have bothered doing so given him being at a severe disadvantage. I mean, while stength is his main quality and he is very strong even for his size, it's just not comparable to magical 30m creatures of stone. :D

I might have to edit my last post entirely, "saving" the transformation for later.
Ah, and now it yet again makes sense for me to post. Excellent!

EDIT: Forgot to ask.. How big is the guardian exactly?
Oh, sorry. I missunderstood!
