Rain pattered dismally against the office’s windows, made liquid brass by the faint glow of the streetlamps below, and streaked against the glass like tears. Once, the words “Jennofski & Jennofski” had been painted in gold across these jalouises… but now there was only an outline, a ghost that had lingered, long past its time, when the acid rain had taken the rest to its grave. The Octo P.I. could sympathise with that.
But as long as he remained, those names would never be forgotten. Not in this, the office that had been his home, his sanctuary, and his prison. A perfectly preserved memory, kept sealed within the bell jar of personal tragedy. OctoP.I. sighed, deeply. “Of all the octopode's profiles in all the world… you had to read mine.”
Hi all, Jenno here! Or Captain. I'm your resident blues harpist, and part time octopode! (But let's keep that between you and me, eh? Nobody suspects a thing.) If you want to know anything just drop me a line via DMs and I'll get right back to you!
Don't worry about it, I've seen john around before and he always does this self centered arrogant thing. No fault of yours what happened. I'll change my app and answer your question later, just heading off right now.
There's a relief - and here I was worried my stand ability was to bring the worse out in people. Thanks for upgrading your durability stat! But you now have 3 out of 2 Bs. If I was to make a recommendation I might say drop Speed to C? Given once your chains have them, it's not like the speed stat will be particularly important.
Would have had this up earlier, but I lost internet.
Name: Lewis "Maz" Mazzaferri Age: 17 Gender: Male Brief description of appearance: Lewis has a mop of blond hair on his head. He has a slim build, and a fair complexion. His green eyes lie behind a pair of glasses.
Personality summary: Lewis is a very soft-spoken boy. He tries to solve problems with words, although he is not afraid of resorting to force should it come to that (he does so reluctantly though). Lewis likes to see the people around him smile. As gentle as he is, one thing he can't stand is people pushing around those who can't fight back. In fact, he normally skips trying to talk things out, and goes straight for the violence. Short biography: Lewis was born to a financially stable family, so he never had to worry about going hungry growing up. Although for some reason, his mother often looked sad, which she just brushed off whenever he asked about it. When Lewis was just 8 years old, his baby sister was killed by an intruder who broken into the house. After that, his parents began to argue a lot more. That came to an end when his mother was badly injured when she got into a car accident. Eventually, Lewis and his dad moved to Pleasant Valley, for his father's job. Lewis has no idea how he got his Stand, as it simply appeared one day, after he had gone through a really bad fever that had lasted a few days. Dark Secret: Please, don't make me tell you.
Stand Name: Power Of Love Description of Appearance: Power Of Love takes the form of a pink humanoid dragon, made out entirely of newspapers. Power: On it's own, Power Of Love has no special powers. However, once It's user comes into contact with someone that they have a strong desire to protect, it's true power will activate. Power Of Love will bind them self to this person, and defend them as an Automatic Stand. If used on a Stand User, this does not interfere with their Stand directly. Unless the other Stand has an ability that is hindered by Power Of Love protecting it's user. As an Automatic Stand, Power Of Love will respond only to things that will cause harm to it's charge, and will respond with an appropriate level of force. Power of Love will return to it's user when he wills it. Stats:
Destructive Power: B Speed: B Range: E Durability: B Precision: A
I took an E in Range (think King Crimson's Range) to get a B in Speed. I hope that's okay. If not, then I can change it. Also, should I PM you his dark secret now, or if he get's approved?
I really like the idea of a stand that works for other people as opposed to its user! But I'm afraid you'll have to stick to the 1A, 2B, 2C system. Is speed particularly important if the stand is bound to who it's protecting? Overall I like your CS, though!
Also, feel free to send me your dark secret! But as a note for those still writing their CS', I'd prefer if your dark secret weren't "they killed a guy", given their current goal will undoubtedly require some levels of preternatural violence. If you can make killing that person seem bigger than just a wanton murder, then obviously an excuse can be made - I'd just like to see you all mix it up a l'il. It can be anything that somebody could use against them: did they hang out with a dangerous crowd? Make a powerful enemy back home, steal something from somebody who doesn't forgive or forget? Mix it up!
Ah, good. Anymore posts and I'd have gotten the staff involved.
To everyone else: I'm sorry if I've set a bad precedent through this but my ire came from the fact their own misunderstanding were directed to me as accusations as opposed to questions. But now kindergarten's over with, I'll ask for the sake of clarity: is there anything about this roleplay, the plot and the setting you guys don't get? Don't be afraid to ask questions, I'm perfectly happy to answer them, especially if it means avoiding that scenario again.
