Heading down Warren St. in car

Connor saw her wipe at her eyes in his peripheral vision, he wanted to try and show her some sort of comfort but he had to focus on the road. Cars, pedestrians and the undead were all over the road and one lapse in concentration could be the end of them or at the very least the car. He mulled over Ana's question for a moment before answering. "Well Hicks was a pretty new officer on the force. I mean we had worked together a few times but I wouldn't go as far to say were had been really good friends. Even so, it doesn't make it hurt any less knowing that he..." Connor paused briefly, clearing his throat to try and compose himself. "That he's probably one of those things now." Connors face was forlorn as he continued on. "I should have gone back to make sure either way. The guy deserved better." Connors knuckles turned white as he squeezed the steering wheel tighter and tighter in anger at himself. He took in a deep breath before finally loosening his grip. "I can't do anything for him now but I can try and get us out of here."

Connor continued to drive away from the hospital down Warren Street, a place he had driven down many times before. This time the devastation and carnage on show was difficult to stomach. "Let's just get on the highway and get as far away from here as we can." With his final word Connor spotted something ahead. What the hell is that? he thought to himself. As he drew closer it became clear that a lorry had jackknifed across the entirety of the road making it impossible to move further. "Shit...hold on." Connor put the car into reverse and turned to look out of the back window as he moved away from the lorry. He swung the wheel round and headed to a nearby side street.

As the car turned into the street there was a tremendous crash. The car was spun around ferociously, Connors body thrown around like a rag doll as his head cracked on the steering wheel. When the car finally came to a stop Connor could feel blood running down his face but he showed more immediate concern for Ana. "Ana are you ok?" As he leaned towards her he could see the back end of the car had collapsed in on themselves, something had hit them at some speed but more worringly for them, the car was totalled.

Gaz left the Crimson Fang looking around the deserted hangar, wondering where the crew of the shuttle could have gotten to. Cyne motioned for the three of them to move out, to which Gaz agreed with a gutteral grunt. In a manner that was graceful like the finest of dancers, Cyne left the ship and floated out from the ship.

"Dat zero g' ain't for dis fungai!"

Gaz leant down and tapped at the two batteries that were seemingly held to his boots with tape. With a satisfying buzz they kicked into action and Gaz found himself firmly planted on the floor. He had no idea how they worked, in truth nobody did, but they did and that was what really mattered. He began to run along the deck of the hangar, his heavy footsteps echoing throughout the hanger. As the others looked back to see where he was he called out over the comms.

"I wasn' built to fly! I ain't got wings!"

Continuing to run along, there were the occassional obstacles that required him to disengage his boots. In one instance he found himself spinning around aimlessly in the same position, unable to move in any direction. He attempted to move by firing a quick burst of his flame thrower but only proceeded to increase the speed in which his spun like a wheel. With the lack of oxygen he simply shot the combustible fuel into the air. His outstretched arms and legs made him look like a machines assistant on the spinning wheel. Through blind luck he caught a break and his power klaw caught hold of a nearby pipe. Eventually the trio found themselves in a main corridor with blood trails staining the floors and walls, heading off into the smaller corridors that sprouted from the one they were in. Excitement began to grow within Gaz as he realised that maybe he would get the fight he was looking for.

"Yeeees boyz! You may get to see 'ow dis guy 'andles 'imself in a fight!"

As Gaz continued to marvel at the prospect of a fight, the others shot off down the corridor once more. Gaz once again disengaged his ramshackle gravity boots and turned his back to the others.

"I ain't bein' da last one!"

Gaz carefully balanced himself and unleashed his flamethrower once more, this time his more stable position meant that he began to barrel down the corridor like a crude missile. He had only unleashed it for a brief moment but the fuel propelled him at a blistering speed, catching up to the others quickly. He let out an almost childlike cry of joy as he passed them both before uncermoniously slamming back first into a wall. He let out a loud grunt before engaging his boots once more. He shook his arms out and began to strut as if nothing happened. He caught sight of some signs.

"Buh-ruh-ih-duh-guh-eh...bridiguh?! What the hell is a bridiguh?" He scratched at his rather fancy helmet before the reality set in. "Ah! Da' bridge! Boyz I 'as found da' bridge! Dis way!" He pointed in the direction with his giant power klaw and the trio continued on. The journey continued on, with only a couple more instances of Gaz having to prove his truly impressive skills in zero g before they eventually arrived at the bridge.

Within moments of arriving Pathfinder had already begun to do everything it needed to do. Meanwhile Gaz took in all the gore around him, he was very much hopeful of a fight. As time passed by life support and the gravity returned allowing Gaz to get his beautiful, battlescarred face out for everyone to see clearly. Pathfinder mentioned hearing some noises, but Gaz couldn't hear a thing as he was too busy stretching out his limbs in preparation for a fight. Soon enough, incoming enemies were confirmed.

"Yes boyz! Dis is it! Time to show you 'ow Gaz deals wiv deez gits!"

The swarmers moved around Gaz biding their time to attack. Gaz looked unconcerned as a big toothy grin stretched across his face. He cocked his left wrist and his chain choppa whirred into life. The roar of the blades echoed throughout the corridor "Let's 'av it!" Within moments two of the swarmers broke from the circle and charged towards the Fungai. The first came at his front with the other trying to surprise him from behind. Gaz wasn't the smartest but what he lacked in intelligence was more than made up for by his sheet ferocity and skill in battle. With an instinctive spin the giant brute turned to the swarmer charging at his back. The sound of his weapons chains whirring faster and faster was followed by the satifying splat of gore splashing onto the floor. The swarmer had been split in two leaving Gaz coated in it's blood. As quickly as he had killed the first swarmer, Gaz dropped low and spun around with his arm outstretched. The other charging swarmer tried to dodge the incoming attack but its flesh was torn and shredded by the metallic teeth of Gaz's chain choppa.

"Is dat all you dogs got?" The creatures snarled and in unison all barreled towards Gaz. Gaz dropped his chain choppa and brought his other weapons to bear. A small flame on the underside of his left arm seemed innocent enough, that was until a gout of thick, skin melting fire raged forth and consumed two of the swarmers. Before he could unleash the flame on the others, two of the swarmers had leapt onto his back. "Stupid dogs." Gaz kicked his feet up into the air and dropped onto his back. Two high pitched squeals tore at Gaz's ears as his entire weight crushed the two swarmers. Before he could right himself the other two were atop his chest snapping at his face. Gaz thrust his arms forward and took hold of the the two swarmers.

"Whoops..." Gaz's right arm was tipped with his monstrous power klaw and unfortunaltely for the one swarmer, this meant that it was cleaved into two with complete ease. The gore that coated Gaz and the area around him was verging on ridiculous but that is what happens when a Fungai fights. Ruthless weapons designed to cause maximum carnage so that if a blow doesn't outright kill you, the wound will get you eventually.

With the final swarmer held firmly by the neck, Gaz stood up. The two creatures he had crushed under his weight slowly peeled from his armour as he looked the last creature in the eye. It wildly swung its claws at Gaz's armour but struggled to even scratch the paint. It's jaw crunched hard as it continued to try and bite the Fungai even though he had it firmly by the throat. "Night night dog." Gaz closed his massive hand tightly, a satisfying snap followed and the swarmers body fell limp. Gaz let his grip go and the creature fell lifeless to the floor. For such a short amount of time, Gaz had effectively managed to redecorate the corridor in blood green. "Dat was a nice warm up! I'm still itchin' for a propa' ruck though!"
Steel chair of interest out of nowhere!
@ShiningSector do you have a picture to reference as to what these things look like? Their size etc?
@Kuroakuma ok cool. Gotta keep my Mrs company for the rest of tonight so I’ll get everything finished off after work tomorrow
@Kuroakuma Dont worry about it being long, much better when you get detail rather than just a flat this is shit, change it

So something like C’s across the board would be fine? Even if he isn’t a magic wielder?

In terms of True Mind that was the intention, just forgot to write it in there.

As for Willow I’ll wait until I’ve got thee CS down and then I’ll PM across the idea behind him.

In terms of time he wouldn’t be able to interact with himself *insert world ending paradox explanation*. However, he can talk to others but let’s be honest, who is going to trust an apparition?

Stationary he guy is pretty much just a strong human, pretty toned and what not. When he gets moving he’s a monster. If I had to compare him to some sort of comic character, you’re probably looking at something like Flash with a little bit of Juggernaut chucked in for good measure.

To be honest I’m just glad you like the ideas. I mean I don’t mind nerfing bits here and there for you because ultimately it’s about the characters story. Just hope you like the plan I have for Willow lol
It's currently a work in progress but I guess it's best you judge what's there now now before I go and write a backstory. I'm entirely flexible on everything so feel free to criticise as heavily as you want

Im massively interested. I’ll start work on a CS when I get home.
Could I have a superhero who is a regular at the bar rather than being a member of staff?

Leo found his foot tapping away as Marcus played on the stage, that was until the power went out. With no warning the entire bar was plunged into darkness. There were gasps throughout the bar as the darkness took hold. Leo's head hung back from the chair he was sat on and he let out an audible sigh of frustration. He rose to his feet and quickly moved to reassure everyone, using the light from his phone to illuminate his face, albeit from underneath in an almost sinister kind of way.

"Well folks it looks like whichever deity you may or may not believe in has decided to play games with us. Don't worry. We prepared for this eventuality and stocked up on a fair amount of candles. In addition, the heating of this place is run on gas so we don't have to worry about that either. Besides, we have an extensive collection of items available in lost and found if anyone feels a chill. So if you bare with us, we'll get some lighting sorted and we can have a nice candle lit acoustic set played by Marcus. Should anyone have any questions, concerns or anything else, feel free to ask me."

With his brief speech over Marcus made his way over to him, asking what Leo needed him to do. "Well if you go get the candles out of the back, i'll start wheeling out some of the lost and found gear...just in case. Get a candle on each table with a couple of spares in case people need to venture to the toilet or anything. After that, get yourself back up on stage with an acoustic and play something to keep everyone occupied. I might look at getting some food cooked while the gas is still on. Any questions?" Marcus was a switched on guy and Leo knew he was more than capable of dealing with what he had asked. He was that confident that he had already started to make his way towards the lost and found, using his phones light to light the way.

During the same day...A message to Dustynn...

Well i'm glad you're all comfy and warm, we've just lost power to the
bar. Fortunately the gas is still running but even if anything happens
to that we'll be fine thanks you the mountain of clothes in lost and
found lol. I'm just really glad you're home and out of the snow, I won't
lie I was concerned about you being out in this. Thankfully you're all
snug. Feel free to call me if you want, I do miss the sound of your
voice...even with your strange American accent ;) lol xx
