☩ The metal scene of the school isn't exactly flourishing but that doesn't stop Rob from wearing whatever he wants. More often than not he'll have a pair of slim fitting jeans and a band shirt on while his footwear ranges from sneakers all the way to boots that look like they belong on a building site. If he ever needs an extra layer to keep warm, which is a rarity as he just doesn't seem to feel the cold, he'll opt for a flannel shirt or his trusty denim jacket with its wide array of band patches.

He stands at six feet and one inch and weighs in at one hundred and eighty six pounds. His frame is slight but it hides a strong musculature that he isn't afraid to put to use whether it be manual work or in some cases physical confrontations. His hair is long and at its longest point reaches to his lower back. He usually allows it to flow freely but will at times wear some form of hat to stop it blowing in his face.

In terms of transport he drives a 1969 Ford Boss 429 Mustang which he bought for next to nothing due to being in an non-functional state. Using money earnt from odd jobs and through some shrewd purchases, he has managed to restore it to its former glory.

☩ Rob is a highly intelligent individual who doesn't need to study to do well in school. This intelligence is what drives his adventurous nature, the wanting to learn and experience everything he can while he can. Whether its wandering off into the mountains to go camping or taking part in a few friendly games of paintball, he just likes to keep himself active.

His biggest misgiving is that he is very opinionated, another result of his intelligence. He doesn't mean to but he will almost always weigh in on a discussion even if nobody is asking for his opinion. Even so he doesn't mean any harm by it and will apologise when his friends bring him up on it. They have realised the best way to deal with him is to just tell him he's doing it again.

On a more ethical level Rob stands up for those who can't do it themselves and will quite happily crack the biggest of jocks on the jaw if needed. People who say violence doesn't stop violence have clearly never been in high school. When a bully knows that they are going to get a swift punch to the mouth if they pick on someone smaller than them, they soon stop.

As a person his heart is in the right place and he is a true friend to those who are close to him. He'll do pretty much anything for anyone he cares about and will even make time for those he doesn't necessarily know. Whether it is someone crying alone or someone dropping their books in the hallway, he is just a genuinely nice guy.

☩ Biography:

☩ Rob had a standard upbringing as a young child with nothing really of note happening. His parents cared for him and his brother and the family never wanted for anything. His father Karl was the town mechanic and a well liked man amongst the populace. His mother Annette didn't work but kept the house in order and basically ran the family. It was her that got Rob into brazilian jiu jitsu of all things just after his fifth birthday. She was slightly paranoid about bullies and so made sure he would be able to defend himself if needed. He took to it well and is still practising it currently.

As he grew older Karl began to teach Rob about the inner working of a car, passing on his mechanical knowledge. With a natural talent to learn and being quite a physical person Robert excelled. For him though it was just about spending time with his dad. Through this time the pair grew a close bond that opened it's doors to Robs younger brother Matt.

Unfortunately the fairy tale start to his life ended when he was eleven. While out shopping his mother crossed the road but was knocked over by a speeding car. Annette was dead before she even hit the floor. The event was tragic for the boys she left behind, even more so because the driver of the car was never found. It took a while for Rob and his father to get over the loss, at least somewhat fortunately Matt was too young to truly understand what was going on. In the year that followed things were hard but towards the back end of the year they became somewhat easier. The loss and pain would never truly go away but Karl took Rob to speak to a counsellor and together they learnt to deal with the grief.

Even with the death of his mother Rob's school work didn't suffer. He had always been a clever boy but in high school he excelled. His grades maintained a minimum of A's across the board and there was often jokes amongst his friends of his corpse painted face delivering the valedictorian speech at their graduation. While it was a joke the chances of it happening grew bigger as the years ticked by towards their graduation day. He is in prime position to get the honour and for the fun of it one hundred percent intends to turn up in his on-stage persona.

Speaking of his on-stage persona, he is part of a heavy metal band who play more for fun than having any real intention of making it big. He plays guitar and covers lead vocals, having quite a wide range in his voice being able to hit high screams and gutteral lows. They cover pop songs, write originals and play multiple different sub-genres of metal. It is a hobby but if there is ever an opportunity to perform they'll happilly accept. They usually act as a warm up for any touring bands that go through their small town meaning they get a little pay day and get to meet some pretty big bands from the metal scene.

Character: Bernadette
Summary: When Rob and his family moved to Sterling Heights Bernie was his next door neighbour. While they initially didn't talk in school, after a couple of days they realised they were neighbours and started to build a strong friendship. Being the adventurous type, she'd always invite herself to his random activities whether it be rock climbing, wandering off into the wilderness or going to one of his gigs. Rob doesn't think she's quite ready for corpse paint yet. They have remained good friends.

Character: Ronald
Summary: The two have been in the same schools since Rob arrived in Sterling Heights but for a long time rarely shared a word. It was only when they entered high school and their friendship circles merged that they really spoke. There is absolutely no animosity between the pair and they will stop in the hallway to talk, they just don't often look to hang out away from the group.

Summary: A quiet guy who Rob first really spoke to when hiking in the nearby forestry. They spoke for a few hours and from there developed a friendship. While not necessarily one of Rob's closest friends, he's definitely someone he likes because he has seen past Isaac's solitary nature and seen a genuinely nice person.

Summary: First met during elementary school when Rob moved to Sterling Heights. Their teacher had her show Rob around for the entire day and by the end of the day he had only managed to get one word in. Since that day they have remained very close friends. Even though she is the head cheerleader and he's seen as a future satanic cult leader, they are as close as they have ever been.

Summary: Rob likes DJ a lot and for the most part they share similar humour. At times DJ can go a bit over the top which annoys Rob but it doesn't go as far as affecting their friendship. They have been friends for a long time and likely will be for a long time. The two are currently three years into a DnD campaign and are approaching it's completion.

Summary: Quite an odd couple, one looking like the spawn of Satan at weekends with the other a future basketball hall of famer. Yet the two share a mutual appreciation for each other over their strong moral compasses. While they may not hang out as much as they do with the other members of the group, they will always make the effort to get to each others gigs or games when possible.

Summary: They share a love for music that transcends genres. They have been in the same band classes since elementary school and bonded over music, appreciating each others taste and the skill it requires. They can play off each other well when performing music but do occasionally delve into conversation about history and other topics.

Summary: Rob and Alice have a rather unique relationship in that they are similar while being so different. A contradiction in terms most certainly but the relationship is that hard to describe. There is often an awkwardness that is only really overcome when they speak on a one to one basis, if anything it's the only way they can truly get through to the heart of the other person and enjoy each others company.

Summary: While they rarely spoke before high school, they found they mutual love for Korean drama. In reality this is the basis of their friendship, talking about and watching Korean TV together. Beyond their binge sessions of the latest releases they only really spend time together in a group setting. That isn't because of any dislike of each other but because they just spend that much time watching Korean TV when they hang out.

As the sisters introduced themselves the sound of Dustynn's voice from the bar floated over. "We still need the bathrooms painted!" Leo let out a loud laugh before responding to the idea. "Baby that is nowhere near suitable enough." He knew the general idea of what he was going to get them to do but he just couldn't decide on the finite details. It was then he latched onto the clearly Russian accent of the one sister. A most evil grin lit up his face as he turned back towards the sisters, "...oh yes...I have it now. If you two would be as kind to follow me we'll see just how sorry you are."

Leo turned to Dustynn and winked, his mischievous smile still clearly on show. He gestured to the sisters with his hand to follow him as he made his way towards the stage. As he moved past the tables and onto the dance floor he began to move his way through the crowd of people that had started to gather. Fifty percent off booze and it doesn't matter what day it is, people will turn up. As he used his arms to weave through the crowd he spotted a few regulars reaching out for drunken high fives and free hugs. Leo was very much a supporter of free hugs, even when they were from people twelve beers in by early evening.

He eventually reached the stage and leapt up on it with a grace that betrayed his current state of sobriety. The rather heavy music blaring out over the sound system soon faded, the crowd erupting into cheers and they saw Leo on the stage. As the owner looked out over his patrons he gestured with his hand in a wave. He tried to speak but the cheers continued. Looking down at his watch sarcastically he cast a glance back up with his smile across his face. Soon enough the cheers stopped and Leo began to speak.

"So how many you are enjoying the cheap as shit beer?" The crowd all raised their plastic glasses into the air, almost all avoiding the total catastrophe of throwing their drink up into the air. "I see some regular faces and some not so regular...i'm looking at you Trent." Leo pointed down to one of the crowd he knew as someone who visited the bar weekly without fail. "That's a face only a mother could love." Leo smiled at him and carried on. "So for those of you who haven't been in here before, tonight is going to be one of our infamous karaoke nights. Unfortunately we have to do things the old way with the projector and recorded tracks as our resident band don't usually play on a Tuesday. However...tonight I have such a good treat for you to get us started."

Leo cast a glance down at the two sisters and his smile turned menacing once more. "Travelling all the way from Russia...their first US appearance since the 90's to sing one of their most famous tracks...I bring you...t.A.T.u!" Leo gestured to the girls with his hand as the crowd let out a rapturous mix of applause and laughter. Waiting for the sisters to get onto the stage Leo approached the DJ and grabbed two microphones. He leant over to the DJ laughing and spoke, "One hundred percent needs to be All The Things She Said." He turned with his smile still on his face, ready to hand out the microphones.

History

Your First Walker Encounter

☣ While performing a gig in Charlottesville, Virginia, there was a loud commotion beyond the cheers that they were accustomed to. Cries and screams that were a reminder of Leo's time in the army echoed throughout the venue. A small group of walkers entered the bar and began to tear chunks from people. With the surge of the crowd people were trampled and crushed as they tried to escape. Fortunately for the band and a few others they were able to escape through a back door.

History Before Outbreak

☣ There was nothing distinct or worth of note that occured during Leo's childhood. It was normal in every aspect, achieving decent grades and spending most of his time with his friends. He played football on weekends for his local team and was an avid fan of music, playing multiple instruments. He had two loving parents and never wanted for anything growing up. That's not to say he was spoiled because he really wasn't, he simply had everything he needed to have the best chance to make something of himself.

☣ At the age of sixteen when others were talking about staying on in school or going to college, Leo decided to join the British Army. His father and grandfather had both served in the army but that wasn't a factor of why he wanted to do it. He felt within himself that it would allow him to become part of something bigger than himself. Instead of ending up with a piece of paper that says he spent thousands of pounds and three to four years of his life in university, he wanted to accomplish something.

☣ During a fairly lengthy military career he did several tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He operated as a designated marksmen for the majority of his time while serving. He was wounded on his second Iraq tour after taking a bit of shrapnel to the chest. Luckily he survived and is left with a minor scar across the left side of his chest. Unfortunately during his second tour of Afghanistan his father died back in the UK.

☣ After returning home he found his father had left him a letter expressing his last wish was for Leo to do what he really wanted and what he felt passionate about. Leo left the army to pursue career in music, forming a band that was a mixture of his brother, childhood friends and someone he had served in the army with. Leo had saved money well and combined with the money his father left him, he was able to start a band without worrying about work. Within a year they had released their first album and made an instant impact on the metal scene. They did several supporting tours before finally having a headline tour of their own. The money they made from album sales and merchandise was enough to give the band a comfortable existence.

☣ While touring the UK Leo met his ex wife, a slender blonde with bright green eyes who instantly took Leo's breath away. They hit it off right away and within two years they were married...happily Leo assumed. Unfortunately for him he found her in bed with someone else when he returned home early from a tour due to a cancellation of a gig on health and safety grounds. Not one to be treated like a fool he kicked her out and took to the bottle. He spent the next six months permanently drunk and had it not been from his bandmates intervening, he would likely have died. Several months of rehab later and he was clean, not touching a drop of alcohol since.

☣ A month prior to the outbreak the band set about their first headlining tour of the US. The tour was without incident with sold out shows and passionate fans wherever they went. That was until the night of the outbreak.

History Since Outbreak

☣ As the band and a few of their fans escaped the bar they headed to a nearby motel. Within in they barricaded the doors and windows as best they could, closing curtains and whatever else was available. For several days they stayed there surviving on the contents of a lone vending machine. Chocolate and fizzy drinks didn't make for the best diet but it meant they would stay alive. Then on the fifth day of being in the motel a notice was played over the radio, instructing everyone who was able to, to make it to the park in the center of town to be extracted. The time limit was short, only twelve hours from when they heard the message.

☣ The survivors knew they had to chance it as their supplies were on the verge of running out. Arming themselves with whatever they could find they made their way to the park. A couple of people were killed by walkers on the way, but for the most part the group made it relatively in tact. They were met by a large crowd of people waiting to board busses and helicopters, the surrounding area covered by heavily armed soldiers.

☣ The time ticked by quickly but with little movement for the survivors and that proved costly. As they were waiting to be extracted the extraction site was set upon by a horde. Sully watched as walkers appeared from almost every direction, tearing into whoever got in their way. Busses sped off and helicopters flew off into the distance leaving civilians and soldiers alike to fend for themselves. Leo was forced to watch as Steve and Dave were pulled apart from a group of walkers that had gotten between them. In the melee Leo lost his brother and the last band member Shaun, getting pulled in different directions by the rushing crowds. Eventually he ducked into an abandoned house and threw everything he could behind the door, barricading himself in.

☣ Left to stew with his thoughts for a couple of days Leo decided it was time to go. He planned to move under cover of darkness to minimise the risk of being spotted by the walkers. He returned to the extraction zone to a scene of devastation and slaughter, only a couple of lone walkers remaining to pick the last bits of meat from peoples bones. At the site there was still a vast quantity of weapons left by the fleeing or deceased soldiers. Taking his opportunity Leo armed himself and set off in the hope he would find his brother.

☣ In the days that followed Sully moved from small town to small town searching for his brother and gathering supplies. He wouldn't stay in one place too long, barricading himself into a house for a night before carrying on his search. He moved cautiously and treated the majority of people he came across with suspicion. He had a few brushes with bandits and the undead but for the most part survived by being careful. As the months rolled by he gave up hope of finding his brother or Shaun alive and now assumes that they are dead.

History

Your First Walker Encounter

☣ While performing a gig in Charlottesville, Virginia, there was a loud commotion beyond the cheers that they were accustomed to. Cries and screams that were a reminder of Leo's time in the army echoed throughout the venue. A small group of walkers entered the bar and began to tear chunks from people. With the surge of the crowd people were trampled and crushed as they tried to escape. Fortunately for the band and a few others they were able to escape through a back door.

History Before Outbreak

☣ There was nothing distinct or worth of note that occured during Leo's childhood. It was normal in every aspect, achieving decent grades and spending most of his time with his friends. He played football on weekends for his local team and was an avid fan of music, playing multiple instruments. He had two loving parents and never wanted for anything growing up. That's not to say he was spoiled because he really wasn't, he simply had everything he needed to have the best chance to make something of himself.

☣ At the age of sixteen when others were talking about staying on in school or going to college, Leo decided to join the British Army. His father and grandfather had both served in the army but that wasn't a factor of why he wanted to do it. He felt within himself that it would allow him to become part of something bigger than himself. Instead of ending up with a piece of paper that says he spent thousands of pounds and three to four years of his life in university, he wanted to accomplish something.

☣ During a fairly lengthy military career he did several tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He operated as a designated marksmen for the majority of his time while serving. He was wounded on his second Iraq tour after taking a bit of shrapnel to the chest. Luckily he survived and is left with a minor scar across the left side of his chest. Unfortunately during his second tour of Afghanistan his father died back in the UK.

☣ After returning home he found his father had left him a letter expressing his last wish was for Leo to do what he really wanted and what he felt passionate about. Leo left the army to pursue career in music, forming a band that was a mixture of his brother, childhood friends and someone he had served in the army with. Leo had saved money well and combined with the money his father left him, he was able to start a band without worrying about work. Within a year they had released their first album and made an instant impact on the metal scene. They did several supporting tours before finally having a headline tour of their own. The money they made from album sales and merchandise was enough to give the band a comfortable existence.

☣ While touring the UK Leo met his ex wife, a slender blonde with bright green eyes who instantly took Leo's breath away. They hit it off right away and within two years they were married...happily Leo assumed. Unfortunately for him he found her in bed with someone else when he returned home early from a tour due to a cancellation of a gig on health and safety grounds. Not one to be treated like a fool he kicked her out and took to the bottle. He spent the next six months permanently drunk and had it not been from his bandmates intervening, he would likely have died. Several months of rehab later and he was clean, not touching a drop of alcohol since.

☣ A month prior to the outbreak the band set about their first headlining tour of the US. The tour was without incident with sold out shows and passionate fans wherever they went. That was until the night of the outbreak.

History Since Outbreak

☣ As the band and a few of their fans escaped the bar they headed to a nearby motel. Within in they barricaded the doors and windows as best they could, closing curtains and whatever else was available. For several days they stayed there surviving on the contents of a lone vending machine. Chocolate and fizzy drinks didn't make for the best diet but it meant they would stay alive. Then on the fifth day of being in the motel a notice was played over the radio, instructing everyone who was able to, to make it to the park in the center of town to be extracted. The time limit was short, only twelve hours from when they heard the message.

☣ The survivors knew they had to chance it as their supplies were on the verge of running out. Arming themselves with whatever they could find they made their way to the park. A couple of people were killed by walkers on the way, but for the most part the group made it relatively in tact. They were met by a large crowd of people waiting to board busses and helicopters, the surrounding area covered by heavily armed soldiers.

☣ The time ticked by quickly but with little movement for the survivors and that proved costly. As they were waiting to be extracted the extraction site was set upon by a horde. Sully watched as walkers appeared from almost every direction, tearing into whoever got in their way. Busses sped off and helicopters flew off into the distance leaving civilians and soldiers alike to fend for themselves. Leo was forced to watch as Steve and Dave were pulled apart from a group of walkers that had gotten between them. In the melee Leo lost his brother and the last band member Shaun, getting pulled in different directions by the rushing crowds. Eventually he ducked into an abandoned house and threw everything he could behind the door, barricading himself in.

☣ Left to stew with his thoughts for a couple of days Leo decided it was time to go. He planned to move under cover of darkness to minimise the risk of being spotted by the walkers. He returned to the extraction zone to a scene of devastation and slaughter, only a couple of lone walkers remaining to pick the last bits of meat from peoples bones. At the site there was still a vast quantity of weapons left by the fleeing or deceased soldiers. Taking his opportunity Leo armed himself and set off in the hope he would find his brother.

☣ In the days that followed Sully moved from small town to small town searching for his brother and gathering supplies. He wouldn't stay in one place too long, barricading himself into a house for a night before carrying on his search. He moved cautiously and treated the majority of people he came across with suspicion. He had a few brushes with bandits and the undead but for the most part survived by being careful. As the months rolled by he gave up hope of finding his brother or Shaun alive and now assumes that they are dead.

The time had flown by and soon enough the karaoke would be kick in. The bar was filling nicely for a Tuesday much to Leo's surprise. He poked around on his phone for a while as Marcus served a woman he had never seen before. For all of his sins he did well at remembering faces and hers he couldn't remember. He put his phone away and motioned to talk to her but not before three of his hulking doormen escorted two women right up to him. Steve's temporary replacement during his "hiatus" opened his mouth to talk but one of the women jumped in at the sight of Marcus. "Hey Marcus, you enjoy your date at our party? You looked cute together." Soon enough her attention moved to Leo. "You must be the Manager, we walked up ID flashed up strange colours, and He-man and his family seemed rather clear we meet you. Though it seems alittle overkill especially with Victoria being about a third there size or more."

Leo scratched at his chin as he tried to work out who the girls were and soon enough the events of the recent mini-riot came flooding back. While he hadn't been on the floor he had seen enough of the CCTV footage and these two were definitely involved in some capacity. They weren't the instigators by any means but he couldn't really afford to risk letting trouble makers in after the recent issues. That said, they knew Marcus so they really couldn't be that bad. Leo had a plan that often seperated out the troublemakers from those looking just to have fun. Standing up off his stool he approached the pair and straightened his jacket.

"Well you are right there, I am the manager. The names Leo and that light that flashed up is our security system. The entire Run has it installed so that anyone who is banned from a club can't then move on and get into another. Unfortunately for you both you've been banned after that drama you were involved in the other week." Leo used nodded at his security and they backed off. "However...I am willing to lift the ban if you're willing to play a game." A teasing smile crossed his face as he looked at them both. Then with his best impression, "Would you like to play a game?" The quote wasn't exactly but he just laughed it off. He began to rub his hands together menacingly with his smile still stretched across his face, waiting for their response.
