Alexander was just about to tease Lily for being worried before, when all hell broke loose. Either raves were much crazier then he expected, or this 'Vchan' was doing causing a bunch of the guests to go nuts. As one magical girl that he had never seen before decked him in the face and then started strangling him, he decided to put it to the test. Grabbing her head, he started filling her with purifying magic, and soon the crazed look in her eyes vanished as she stopped strangling him "W-what was I doing!?"

"No time for questions! I don't know how long you have till that bitch takes control of you again, so you need to get out of here!"

She nodded "R-right!" Alexander gave her one last jolt of cleansing magic before she covered her ears and ran off

"Alright!" Alexander turned to Lily "So she's clearly evil, or insane, so we have to stop her. I don't think I can heal everyone in here while she's keeping that song up, so we need to take her down fast. If you have that ring I made for you then now is the time to give it a test run. Meanwhile, I'll supercharge you with my magic, and you can Alpha Strike that bitch, got it?"

After Sakura walked away, Alexander was left alone with his thoughts 'Still, why have a party when the Inquisition is still in town? Hell, for all I know, they could take offense to the loud music and try to purge us because of it...or something. I mean, I get the need to keep moral up, but this just seems risky. I don't know, maybe I'm just being paranoid.' He sighed as he checked back up on Lily, who was now spinning like a top 'I still don't understand how she could have been nervous at all' He started to look around 'Now where's the food? I've got a serious case of the munchies.' And he wandered away, in search of something to munch on

'I swear, that girl is actually bipolar. How else can she go from nervous wreck to social butterfly at the drop of a hat?' Alexander sighed at Lily's antics. "Sorry about the ears" he said to Sakura "Lily doesn't really do personal space. She means well though, the girl doesn't have a mean bone in her entire body." Alexander looked around the place, and took notice of the cages "...the fuck? What kind of decoration are cages-" The he saw that some of them were occupied with dancers "Wait...that's an actual thing?" He just shook his head in disbelief and confusion, before turning back to Sakura "So how does this compare to the parties from your Yakuza days?" He also caught a glimpse of Lily talking to someone with a mask 'Aaaaaand she's already making a new friend. I told her it was stupid of her to be worried. She's totally in her element here'

'I suppose one good thing about there being little to no civilians here is how open we can be. Not that getting caught ever stopped us before' Alexander groaned about at Lily's driving almost running people over, as he was dragged off by said girl, who then proceeded to go from excited to nervous in record time

Alexander sighed 'I still don't understand how this girl can go from a bubbly goof, to a borderline wreck so fast. Is it some kind of girl thing, or is Lily just weird?' He put his hand on her shoulder to hold her in place "Lily, calm the fuck down." His grip on her tightened, but not to a painful level "This isn't that big a deal. You're so good with people that this should be easy for you. I'm the one who should be worrying. We just go in, you do your thing, and boom! Step 3; Profit. Alright, now take a few deep breaths to get yourself calm, and then we can go in. Does that sound good?"

Alexander had been prepared to yell at Lily for being stupid and dragging away an injured person away from someone who could heal...but one look at her panicking made that impossible "Ugh, yeah. I'll just..." He fumbled with his words, without the frustration that fueled his unspoken rant gone, he suddenly had no idea whtta to say. Dismissing his Beast magic, he walked up to Mika and started healing her. As luck would have it, he found that he still had enough gas left in the tank for that "Well that's a relief" he sighed as he finished "Alright, you should be good now." he declared

With that done, Alexander began taking stock of his remaining mana. While his connection with Sol would replenish him fast, for awhile he was stuck with barely enough to sustain a few barriers 'I really don't like this; it makes me feel exposed' He sighed as he shook his head 'I might need to come up with something to help deal with low mana levels. Maybe I can make a mana battery with runic enchantments?' But he was broken out of his planning by the sound of his name

”Alex, If I’m ever gonna do something stupid like this, please stop me.” Lily looked away from him before she continued ”Sometimes, I act before thinking, and it causes more problems than it solves.”

In an instant, hundreds of snarky reply's entered his mind, but for once, he ignored them all. The sight of hurting Lily gave him a very different idea 'I really hope I'm not about to fuck up' Alexander then took a few steps to her, and using one hand, pulled her into a hug, while the other slowly stroked her head "Um...there there?"

Alexander was preparing to fight...until he saw the turtle fall out of the sky and bonk a troll "...huh?" The troll attacked the shell until it caught sight of their pursuers and started to attack them. As this was happening, Lily scooped up the turtle (now a badly battered looking girl), and took off on her motorcycle. "Wait! Lily you idiot, let me heal her first!" But he was too late, since she was out of earshot by that time. "Ugh...that dork. Welp, really glad I picked up that magical GPS now." As he focused his Beast and Reinforcement magic into boosting his speed as much as possible, he turned on his new location power to keep track of Lily.

“Halt! State your business.”

Alexander was panicking inside; he knew he wasn't good with people and wasn't sure if he could actually talk his way inside "Look, my girlfriend's in there with some injured girl. I need to catch up with her"

One of the guards narrowed their eyes "Then why were you left behind?"

Alexander shrugged "Probably for the same reason she forgot I have healing magic; she panicked. Think back; did she look at all composed when you saw her?"

"And how are you so sure she's even here?" The other guard asked

"Tracking magic." Was his reply

Both guards looked at each other for a few seconds before answering "Very well, but be warned; you will be watched"

Alexander rolled his eyes as he rushed in to catch up with Lily and the poor girl she dragged away.

'A date? That...actually sounds kinda nice' There was something strangely soothing about this place, and the idea of just wandering around with Lily sounded really peaceful. It was a feeling that Alexander didn't have a lot of experience with, but he found that he liked it a lot 'Why do I feel all...fuzzy inside? It's...kind of nice'. When they reached the Crystal Curtain, Alexander found he had a calm smile on his face

”It’s like mountains made from crystal! Come here Alex, let’s take a group photo!”

Alexander chuckled at Lily's energy, but followed without complaint. That's when he heard voices that were both familiar, and unwanted. And all that inner peace was just tossed away, as his anger and bitterness returned "No...no fucking way" he gritted his teeth "They actually managed to follow us all the way here?"

Alexander got on the back of Lily's motorcycle, sudden much more aware of the close physical constant between the two of them "It's just..." He started, struggling for the right words "The whole time dilation mess make no fucking sense! If the whole point was to give us some time to unwind, then why was time passing faster outside of that dimension!? If anything, it should have been the other way around! And then, we get invaded by the fucking Spanish Inquisition of all things! It's,,,it's almost like some cosmic force or something is trying to tell us that vacations are bad, and we should never go on any."

He sighed and shook his head "You know, it's kind of funny" he said as he looked around at the scenery speeding past them "The onle other time I was here, it was to fight that anit-love wack job and her goons, so I didn't really get a good look at this place. Now that I am...it looks kind of amazing." He snorts "Maybe we should have just had our vacation here, At least that way, we wouldn't have to deal with any time dilation nonsense."
