"Ah, right," Sarah said, giggling. "Well, they have tea there as well, so you can get that instead if you like." The thought of someone from Hell faltering at the thought of something as casual as drinking soda just made her giggle. Still, even in what small amount of time they'd been together, Nefas had been less of a terrible, soul-sucking demon and more of a very odd girl with a very open curiosity. Sarah smiled slightly; maybe living with her wouldn't be all that terrible after all.
Still, it was probably unwise to lower one's guard around a demon.
"Here we are," she finally said after a bit more walking. She pulled the door open and held it for Nefas, waving her inside and stepping in after her. The Burger Shop, with its name emblazoned above the doors, was a smaller building than most fast food places, since most of its tables were outside (there was a large tarp that could be pulled out in case of rain). Even so, the inside looked surprisingly well-kept. Richard, one of the managers, was a graduate of Ivy University, so students got a discount. Their menu was displayed above the front counter, offering all kinds of delicious and definitely not nutritious choices. Because it was later afternoon, but not quite supper time, there was only one other person in line.
"See anything in particular you're interested in?" Sarah asked. She always got a chicken sandwich meal with tea, so she already knew what she wanted.
