Name: Martin Krpan

Nickname: The Slovene Stongman

Race: Human Fable

[b[Gender[/b]: Male

Appearance: 6'1, 210 lbs. Strong build with thick black hair, short beard and brown eyes. His hair is about medium length and is usually a messy, while his clothes are practical and are usually clean and in good condition.

Job: Works as a truck driver for a salt factory.

Personality: Honest, uncouth and is always blunt in the way he talks to people, and has great ingenuity. He mostly keeps to himself unless there is a great need for him to help others, and doesn't really care what most people think of him.

Fable: Once upon a time, Martin Krpan was a simple man, who smuggled English salt through part of Europe, always aided by his loyal mare. One day, he comes across a carriage on a snowbound road, and makes room for it by picking up his laden horse and moves to the side to let the carriage pass. The person inside was none other than the Emperor of Hadsburg, he makes a note to remember the man for his extraordinary strength. Years later, the Emperor calls upon Krpan to face a man named Brdaus in a duel. Brdaus had set up outside the capital and challenged all comers to a duel, and had killed most of the knights in the city including the Crown Prince. Krpan reluctantly accepts the challenge, and shocks the royal Court with his honesty, his uncouthness and homespun manner, but proves himself worthy by defeating Brdau in a duel with his strength and ingenuity, and is rewarded with a license to cargo salt from England.

Now however, he is living in Fabletown, renting a small room in the Woodlands Apartments, working for a salt factory company as one of their truck drivers and, once in a while, he is known to help out as hired muscle, or a mover for Fables, and on extremely rare occasions, he is hired to help the Sheriff.

Abilities: Abnormal strength, is very cunning and has the same power that all Fables have, as in he is hard to kill and doesn't age.

@Saarebas awesome, thanks very much

@Saarebas yeah, with Mephistopheles I think he would be too powerful, so I'll stay with the other guy.
Alright, I have a couple ideas for characters, I wanna know if any of them would be acceptable. My main character is a man named Martin Krpan, a man in Slovene folktale who is know as a strong and imaginative man who saves an empire by beating a unbeatable man in a duel. I am also interested in the character Mephistopheles from the story of Faust.

I know these characters are both a bit obscure, but that's the point of why I like them. Please let me know I either of them can be used.
@Claw2k11 I'm still waiting for a response from the Queen o Wolastra
I may create a character soon
@Pumpkinlord that's good
Red was seating at the edge of his boat, fishing with the new lure he got in a trade with the Drow brothers. It was a good trade, two fishing lures and a piece of red glass for a medium sized tuna. Well, good for Red, he had enough food and if the lures were any good, he'd be able to catch more. But he didn't do it for the lures, he did it for the glass. It was small, about a centimetre wide and cut roughly, but there was a small image on it of a howling wolf. He smiled at it, amused by how something so small could be so detailed. He heard the sound of thunder in the distance, and saw the storm coming. That was his que to make a run for it. He reeled in his line and packed up his stuff as quick as he could. He turned to the others as they were watching the sky, "Unless you lot can handle a storm like this without getting your stuff destroyed, I'd suggest trying to make it to town before the storm hits, that's what I'm doing. Good luck to you lot." He then unfurled his sail and headed towards the floating town nearby, hoping that he'd get there in time.
@Minato Namikaze awesome, love that game
