How the Collection of Souls has Affected Your Character? Reira refuses to collect souls from children under the age of twenty – she sees it as cruel and inhuman.
Personality: Reira is a gentle soul – carefree, kind and generous. She’ll help anyone in need, even if she believes they are evil and ill-natured. She sticks by her beliefs and she’d even throw her life away if it meant saving a life. She’s weak hearted and refuses to brand the souls of children – she believes it to be cruel and inhuman; she looks down upon those who freely brand whomever they please, thinking them to be sick and sadistic.
Naive and easily deceived, Reira will try to see the best in people and bring it out, no matter how hard the task. She can be ditsy and airheaded, but she still holds her values dear and that’s all she cares about. She doesn’t like the idea of branding souls; however, she’d do anything to see her little brother smiling at her again, so she’ll put up with it.
Biography:Reira was raised in the typical white picket fence neighbourhood – her, her younger brother, her mother and her father. Her Father was a doctor and her mother was a stay at home mother; both of them loved their children very much. She was an average student in High School, with average grades and still managed to get into a rather good University.
When she went away to study on campus, everything changed. She was a med-student, like her Father, and she was doing well – however, one day, she received news that her father had been killed in the war. She went home for the funeral decided to stay for a month to look after her mother and her brother. Six weeks later, her mother committed suicide, unable to stand a world without her husband. This forced Reira to move back home and look after her younger brother. He suffered from Leukaemia, and he was not well. Three years later, he passed away, sending her life into turmoil.
Depression took over and all she wanted to do was see her little brother’s smiling face once more – she was a wreck, until she went to a particular Carnival. Mr Seil came to her, offering her the chance to receive anything she wanted, and from there, she signed her freedom away – now determined to retrieve the soul of her little brother.
