As an Angel, Arina’s physical abilities are exceptional; she was speedy and stealthy which was a great help in stealth operations and hand to hand combat. She came close to mastering the elements of air and earth, embracing the light which followed. She was able to attain the power to permanently copy the powers of another. However, this didn’t come as easy as one would expect - it is not as easy as touching the person. A long and painful process in involved with taking another’s power, as it copies, instead of absorbing – depending on the level of power, Arina could be incapacitated for up to three days after taking a power.

However; when she was possessed and fell, her powers were twisted, and she forgot the element of air; concentrating on the element of fire. Through this she was thrown into the Darkness, however, out of that came the power to create, manipulate and destroy matter. This power, however, can take quite the toll on her if used too much. Sometimes it would be easier to run from the battle than to stand there and waste the time and energy on deconstructing the matter of her opponent, other times, it can lead to immense pain and very rarely cause her to start breaking the matter of her own body down.

Now she finds it even harder to copy a power, if not impossible. When she can however, physical powers are her forte – she doesn’t work at all powers such as telekinesis, telepathy or anything else along those lines; so she tends not to develop those powers.

Arina’s power is more of a problem than anything else. Some powers she has copied are impossible for her to develop, they have the tendency to put her in immense pain, and if she is not careful, she could be killed by one of her powers. She uses the power once, as a trial, and if she has a negative experience using it, she never uses it again.

Fighting Skills/Techniques:
Arina isn’t much of a fighter, it’s not like she doesn’t enjoy the exhilarating magical feeling of violence and war, she’s simply too lazy. Trickery is her game; she’ll talk her way out of a fight before she draws a sword. However; when she’s forced into a fight, she uses her small frame to be quick, stealthy and agile on her feet; using a carefully crafted samurai sword, she silently moves to slice her opponent.

Despite her agility, however, her small frame lacks strength, when caught, she is easily overpowered and will generally give in if it means saving her own skin. Although she’ll occasionally use one, guns aren’t her style; she deems them as impersonal and rude weapons.

Well if anything, it’s made her value how fast time can fly.

Personality:
Arina is a playful type to say the least; modest is not in her vocabulary which makes her unfavourable towards many other females. Manipulative, cunning and very tramp like, Arina would stop at nothing to get what she wants; however, despite her rather amazing yet completely unnecessary gift to make everything she wears look, well, immodest, and her touchy and flirtatious nature, she will fight to the death before she lets an undesired male touch her.

Shallow and sharp-tongued, she’s quick to attack someone’s emotional weakness for her own enjoyment. She’s selfish and will do anything to save herself before she saves another life. However, despite her unlikable nature, if she deems one worthy of her loyalty, she will follow them to the ends of the earth without question. Nevertheless, she will show that trait to anyone and then lead them astray, she’s a hard book to read and is a hellion to have as an enemy; but, if her trust is gained, she’s a good ally. It’s hard to pick which side Arina is on; she doesn’t tend to side with anyone. One day she’ll help someone and the next, she’s working only for herself.

It’s not often she’ll act her age, childish and immature are her normal attributes. She’s incredibly lazy and will bribe others to get what she wants. She doesn’t take much seriously which can often help in serious and life-threatening situations. Calm, cool and collected is her game as it takes a lot for her rage to break.

Biography:
Arina was born into a fairly noble family of Angels. She was the sweetest and most promising out of all her siblings – that was, until she was possessed. First she fell ill, and nobody thought anything of it, then she started seeing things, hearing whispers in the night; and by the time anyone realised what was happening, her body had been taken from her. However, her father, in one last desperate act to save his little girl, preformed a spell – in attempt to rid the demon of her body once and for all. The spell went terribly wrong and somehow, the two souls merged, forming what she is today. She fell instantly, and from then on, she was on her own.

Disowned by her family and her race, she turned to the darkness for comfort – but she found little there. Through the years she became more self-reliant, fighting for survival, and nine times out of ten, she lost. It was her body; for although she was now a demon, her original form was still that of an Angel, therefore making it weak and prone to injury.

It was Mr Seil who offered her the deal – he was a stranger in a bar and they got talking; he offered her a body that recovered from any sickness or injury, a body that never aged; an immortal body. Without hesitation, she accepted, not even worrying about the freedom she was about to sign away.

Over the years, she wasn’t as successful as she would have liked to be, branding souls, and three times in a row, the day before the end of her contract, she’d make another deal with him – throwing her further into debt, but saving her from becoming a freak. She’s on her third deal now, and Mr Seil has made note to catch her out if she tries it again.

As a male, Soren’s physical abilities are particularly high; he is speedy and stealthy which can come in handy in close range battle; he has come closer to mastering the elements of Earth and Fire, therefore leading him closer to the power of Darkness; he has learnt to turn different limbs into an impenetrable stone like material; along with the immortality granted by Mr Seil, this makes him rather hard to kill – but not impossible. He can only turn certain parts of his body to stone at a time; making the rest of his body venerable to attack. He used his stone limbs for offence more often than not, packing quite the powerful punch, should he make contact.

He moves quickly, making sure to dodge or counteract attacks; he talks to his prey, trying to hit a venerability within their emotions. He’s a tough opponent, but it’s not impossible to defeat him.

Soren loves it, he lives for the collection of souls – the more souls he holds, the more power. Currently he splits his earnings 40/60 with Mr. Seil

Personality:
Soren is an avaricious and arrogant being; he wants everything the realms have to offer and he won’t stop until he gets it. Cocky, charming and exceedingly charismatic, it’s hard not to fall for Soren’s alluring smile. He’ll sweet talk his way into a woman as fast as he can flash his infamous grin. He has no shame in his actions and tends to flaunt them to other members of the Carnival – making him unfavourable towards others.

Quick witted and rather intelligent; Soren knows how to go in roundabout ways to claim what he desires – be it money, sex, power, fame and so on… he wants it all; and as far as he’s concerned, he’ll take it all. Soren would make a Goblin look modest in his wants. However, despite his ridiculous level of greed, he’ll lend a hand to those who so loyally follow him – he sees his followers as his property and nobody has the right to take them away from him. Greed isn’t always such a terrible thing.

His relationship with Mr Seil is one of friendship – considering Soren paid off his debt just over a thousand years ago and is still traveling with the carnival. Hell, why wouldn’t you leave if you had a steady amount of souls flowing in, for your pure profit; despite the fact 60% of them go to Seil, he’s happy living the life of luxury.

Soren is hardly ever seen as cruel, angry or short-tempered; he’s always calm cool and collected, his arrogant and cocky words normally setting those around him off (especially the trolls he’s befriended). He’s friendly to those who have something to offer – and those who don’t, well he simply ignores their existence.

Biography:
Soren’s life was rather uninteresting and uneventful; born into the slums, he grew up on the gloomy streets of Elmis. From a child, he never desired anything more than the world – than all the riches and fame he could possibly possess; he always wanted more, and he always took more. Through the stages of his life, found a certain satisfaction in giving into one of the deadly sins; greed ruled his life, and over time, as he gained a fairly large following, it ruled the lives of everyone in his little gang. Getting what he wanted was satisfying, yet he never stopped at one thing – he killed, he stole, he raided, he raped; there was nothing that could stop him … well except of course, for his mortality.

It was a cold winter’s night, when he was informed about the Wish Maker; rumours had spread around the town like wildfire and Soren was intrigued. If this man was what they said he was; he had the potential to rid Soren of his mortality and give him something he so avariciously desired; immortality. Upon his epiphany, he set out to find this mysterious Mr Seil; and found him he did… not that it was that hard, the man was running a rather sizable carnival.

There and then he signed his freedom away for immortality and for two hundred years, he worked to set himself free. On the day before his date of release, he once again signed his freedom away – this time for money, so for another hundred years, he worked; then finally when it came time for his release, he signed himself away once more, this time for a life of luxury. There wasn’t really a price to pay for that, so he decided he’d just continue to travel with the Carnival – selling his freedom for whatever else came to mind.

Fighting Skills/Techniques:
Despite Pachid’s great advantage as a vampire, he simply does not retain the effort that is required to physically brawl. Permitting another to step in front and brawl on behalf of himself is highly regarded and if individuals allow not for such a thing, the chances that he’ll simply exit the scene without a second thought is lofty. Slothful he stands.

Nevertheless there have been and will be times in which Andracos either attracts or instigates a brawl that compels Pachid to enrol. Upon these times bringing themselves into existence one ascertains that Pachid is an exceedingly strategic fighter; scrutinizing how effortlessly and promptly an opponent can be defeated. Using his sharp eyes to observe any Achilles' heel, emotional distress and/or lack of focus Pachid will take advantage of any faults he observes. Tactical and ingenious in terms of fighting.

Personality:
Reserved in demeanour Pachid has always been the most reasonable amongst the Andracos entourage. Within the group he is the least violent, and when other members fight he does not involve himself; more out of pure lethargy. Intelligent however far too slothful to make use of such a thing Pachid suffers from weariness far beyond the normal vampire. Lazy and unenthusiastic man who apparently spends much of his time asleep and no one, except Andracos, appears to try and stop him from doing so. Despite being a top ranking vampire Pachid would rather opt to slumber on a cloud over a physical activity, and if given the chance, he would sleep for the rest of eternity. Not particularly interested in the happenings around him, however surprisingly observant and a capable analyst. In comparison to the typical parasite of the night, he is not inherently violent or overly arrogant. He can be serious on occasion, although his personality does not change much; he comes off as reluctant, but nonetheless willing to complete the task at hand.

Biography:
A street rat living on the homeless Pachid knows not what his true name is and who is family are. Upon seeing Andracos as a source of food, Pachid attempted to feed off him. Predictably Andracos came out victorious however due to the decent fight the vampire had given him Andracos offered him a home, a name and a way of life. Extremely loyal, Pachid learnt more survival skills and due to the training of Andracos his skills excel far beyond; if only he made use of them – something Andracos continually makes sense not of.

Pachid was forced by Andracos to travel alongside him in his search of the Wish Master and upon discovering him again was forced by Andracos to go into contract with Mr. Seil. Pachid’s loyalty to Andracos convinced him enough and the deal was made.

Reira refuses to collect souls from children under the age of twenty – she sees it as cruel and inhuman.

Personality:
Reira is a gentle soul – carefree, kind and generous. She’ll help anyone in need, even if she believes they are evil and ill-natured. She sticks by her beliefs and she’d even throw her life away if it meant saving a life. She’s weak hearted and refuses to brand the souls of children – she believes it to be cruel and inhuman; she looks down upon those who freely brand whomever they please, thinking them to be sick and sadistic.

Naive and easily deceived, Reira will try to see the best in people and bring it out, no matter how hard the task. She can be ditsy and airheaded, but she still holds her values dear and that’s all she cares about. She doesn’t like the idea of branding souls; however, she’d do anything to see her little brother smiling at her again, so she’ll put up with it.

Biography:
Reira was raised in the typical white picket fence neighbourhood – her, her younger brother, her mother and her father. Her Father was a doctor and her mother was a stay at home mother; both of them loved their children very much. She was an average student in High School, with average grades and still managed to get into a rather good University.

When she went away to study on campus, everything changed. She was a med-student, like her Father, and she was doing well – however, one day, she received news that her father had been killed in the war. She went home for the funeral decided to stay for a month to look after her mother and her brother. Six weeks later, her mother committed suicide, unable to stand a world without her husband. This forced Reira to move back home and look after her younger brother. He suffered from Leukaemia, and he was not well. Three years later, he passed away, sending her life into turmoil.

Depression took over and all she wanted to do was see her little brother’s smiling face once more – she was a wreck, until she went to a particular Carnival. Mr Seil came to her, offering her the chance to receive anything she wanted, and from there, she signed her freedom away – now determined to retrieve the soul of her little brother.

He is one of the prime sources of information in the Carnival, it’s very rare that a secret goes unknown by him. He is able to manipulate the shadows

Fighting Skills/Techniques:
Although Stefan enjoys conflict, often showing up wherever there is potential for one, he usually stays out of it, preferring to observe the fight instead of directly taking part in it. However, when provoked, he quickly puts his opponent in his place, simply proving his superiority without actually beating the other person. Therefore he is usually seen as the one starting fights, but hiding in the shadows instead of directly taking part. He is incredibly skilled in methods of Parkour and he uses his agility and small switch blade to be precise and swift with his attacks. His physical strength is a bonus too; however, h prefers his throwing knives to do the trick.

How the Collection of Souls has Affected Your Character?
Stefan has loved every minute of being at the Carnival – there’s no shortage of interesting characters and people around for him to interact with. He enjoys toying with his fellow carnival folk as much as he does carnival goers.

Personality:
Stefan has the appearance and expression of one who is extremely crafty and confident. He claims to love humanity, and greatly enjoys putting people in miserable or chaotic situations in order to observe their reactions. With a thorough understanding of human behaviour and tendencies, he is able to determine people's thoughts and predict their reactions with high accuracy. Stefan is cunning and charming but despite this, women are not interested in him and he isn't very interested in women as well. He has a very jolly and mocking personality, speaking informally with most people as if they are close friends and often using nicknames. He plays on both sides, so that whoever wins, he will have an advantage.

He likes to play chess and is always a step ahead of his opponent – almost as if he’s reading their minds, giving him the fitting appearance of one who watches over the world and controls their actions. The rules he plays by are also beyond normal people, which seems to be a metaphor for the way he lives his life.

Biography & How You Came to be a Member of The Carnival?:
A model citizen, he was the perfect son and grew up in a normal family. His observational skills didn’t really develop until he was out in the world making a living. He’s watched the development of the human mentality over the years, and it seemed to fascinate him. He then started making situations and staging problems for other people, just to see their reactions. Eventually, it became his drug.

Stefan never grew up in a dysfunctional family, so he has no idea why he is the way he is; his parents were completely normal mundane people. Nothing truly traumatic took place in his life, nor did he come across some sort of shift in his equilibrium. He just became an egomaniac, overbearing, arrogant asshole; a narcisstic, pessimistic, manipulative man, all by himself.

His obsession peaked when he discovered magic, and over time developed it to fuel his need for information. And when a certain carnival came to town, it was only a matter of time before he caught wind of the wish master.

After a small chat with a certain Mr Seil, he was inducted, and so he became the informant of the carnival.

Ahh, recycling is such a glorious thing.
