Kuroda Daichi

Daichi sighed out of boredom as he waited for his opponent to enter the training room. He paced around the confinement, tracing his gloved fingers along the padded walls to get a feel for the room. He could sense the overwhelming magic pulsing through the cushions, indicating that there had to be some form of protection provided to keep the room from getting destroyed completely. While he was dawdling by the edges of the small training quarters, the door materialized behind him and the silence of the pristine room was broken by the obnoxious clacking of heels, followed by an excited "Kuroda!". The cat rolled his eyes and didn't even bother looking over his shoulder; he held his wrist out and allowed the vine to wrap around his forearm. "Took you long enough. Did'ya get lost on your way here?" A grin came across Kuroda's lips, and he tightened his fist around the succubus' plant that was snaking its way up his limb.

The Nocturne looked over his shoulder and flashed Nuna his typical aloof expression. "Let's make a little deal- you go all out during this fight and I'll refrain from using any magic. How does that sound?" The sneer on Daichi's face widened as he pitched the suggestion to her, turning to face the other creature completely. "-Not that I have a problem fighting you with full force." As he said this, the hue of his amber eyes began transitioning only slightly to an aquamarine before returning to their original color. At the same time, the portion of the vine coiled around his arm slowly started to crystallize into twinkling shards of ice. The trail of frost continued to spread along the length of the leaves, progressively making its way towards Nuna. "So? It's up to you, Nuna."
@Jade Chocolates Please, take your time! I give my regards to you and your family~
I hope it's okay... I just went ahead and typed up my IC post~ >.<
Rινкα

Drumming her fingers impatiently against her bicep, Rivka stood cross-armed in the center of the bathroom. She had been standing in there for quite some time, perhaps for 40 minutes or so- she stopped keeping track and instead placed all of her focus on the odd contraptions spread throughout the elaborate room. The entire mansion was the epitome of elegance, but such a materialistic matter did not grab Rivka's attention as much as the foreign apparatus she was faced with at the current moment.

What the hell is this thing even supposed to do? With knitted brows, Rivka- or Mari, leaned forward until her eyes were level with the porcelain faucet attached to the sink. The long strands of blonde hair proved to be a hindrance to the demon's investigation, forcing her to tuck them loosely behind her ear. She brought one of her curious hands closer to the handle with the word hot engraved across the top while her eyes trailed over to the opposing side labelled cold. The second sibling flicked at the knob multiple times to create a satisfying click that reverberated against the pristine walls and high ceiling of the room. She swayed closer to the unknown mechanic, anticipating some form of reaction as a result of her provocation. Initially, she assumed it would have been easier to call for one of her brothers to help. Due to her stubborn personality, however, Rivka restrained herself from asking for assistance; she decided it would be best to solve the riddle on her own. If I'm able to figure this out, she thought, a wry grin snaking its way onto her lips, I may very well have the upper hand in this house.

Quiet laughter emerged from the back of her throat, the smirk on her face widening in accordance. With a new mindset, Rivka was determined to decipher the mysterious hot and cold puzzle before the siblings were to set out for their first day at school. She eyed the two knobs with strong intent. In one swift movement, she wrapped her hands around each handle and gripped them tightly. Mari's knuckles turned white from the amount of force she was exerting into her grasp, but she was unsure of what the consequences may be if she were to suddenly let go. "-Activate!" In a bold voice, the demon shouted out her command while twisting her wrists daringly. She leaped back from the sink and her eyes widened when water flowed out of the faucet. "This device... it manifests water?" The shock left her face and was immediately replaced with a look of triumph. "Hah! Try and beat that, you peons!" Rivka cupped her hands beneath the stream, still reveling in her first achievement since their arrival at the large estate.

Pleased with her work, Mari turned the water off in a similar fashion and eventually made her way to the large doors separating her from the rest of the opulent interior in her lovely abode. "Wait 'till I tell them about this..." As she snickered childishly under her breath, she proceeded to organize her wardrobe for the day; a random selection of clothing sufficed for her, seeing as she carried no tangible knowledge about the mortals' style. Not that she care much for it, anyway.

After a short interval of time passed, Rivka was fully dressed and ready to go- a plain white graphic tee, a close-fitted black leather jacket accompanied by simple denim jeans and black high tops to match. She stood before her full length mirror laced with an intricate design that decorated the perimeter of the frosted glass, turning her body from side to side in amusement as she inspected the clothing. The textures of the material intrigued her, and she would have stood in the middle of her room for hours just stroking her arms and legs if Efah's small voice hadn't caught her attention.

"It's time to go." The youngest sibling's gentle statement drew Rivka towards the top of the grand staircase. From where she was standing, Efah was already prepared to head out of their solitude and into the bustling world of the living. Galloping down the steps, Mari cleared her throat and greeted Hisoka with a wave. "Human attire suits you." The older demon unfurled another slight smile while she approached her sister, leaving a short distance between them as she stood with her hand on her hip. A mixture of emotions flowed through her at that very moment- excitement, for they were about to enter an environment completely new to them, along with unrest, since she still lacked the proper skills to assimilate the humans' lifestyle. Today will certainly be an adventure.
Yup, I think it'll call for an interesting relationship XD
Kuroda Daichi

The Nocturne closed his eyes and sunk even further into the seat, getting comfortable in his position before a holographic screen flashed ahead of him. His eyelids fluttered open when the mermaid on screen chimed in over the dying murmur of the students. Daichi's ears wriggled beneath his hat once he heard what the conditions were for Combat Training. Hell yes. He rocked back in his chair then swung forward, using his momentum to bring himself to his feet. A 1-on-1 battle with another A-Rank, huh? Let's see the unlucky bastard I'm facing. Kuroda entwined his fingers and stretched his arms forward, cracking his knuckles in the process. As he neared the projection, his brushed his fingers along the screen to scroll through the list.

He narrowed his eyes as he scanned for his name. D... why are there so many goddamn D's in the A-rank? Daichi rolled his eyes impatiently and resumed the tedious search. When he finally found his own label, he cocked a brow at the text. "Seems like there's no getting away from her." His lips curled into a slight smirk as he thought aloud, swiveling his head around to locate the succubus. To his surprise, she wasn't seated with the other A-Ranks- Nuna was found in the rows just below the elevated terrace. His face snapped from a goofy grin to a grimace, and he tapped aggressively on the transparent screen. "How come I'm not facing against another A?" Kuroda spoke at the hologram, which gave no satisfactory response. Frustrated, he strode towards the staircase that lead him back to the main floor. No point in getting all riled up... maybe it was a mistake in the system. He attempted to find any tangible explanation for the situation, all while he made his way down the steps. "After you have confirmed the opponent whom you will be facing, please make your way over to the designated training rooms. Be sure to have your identification necklaces ready- they will need to be scanned in order for you to proceed."

Following that announcement, Daichi joined the newly formed line of students as they waited for the the three doors in the back to open; above each door hovered the the letters A, B, and C. He was still hung over the fact that he had been set up with a lower rank- wouldn't that put him at an unfair advantage? While he pondered, the few students ahead of him finally stepped through the door. His vision was obscured from where he was standing, so he was unable to determine how anyone would get to their assigned rooms. Once he reached the front of the line, he peered through the entrance only to be greeted by a long hallway that seemed to stretch for miles. "What the-?" "Please swipe your identification card over the scanner." His mumbling was overlapped by the monotonous voice stemming from a kiosk that had materialized right before him in the middle of the doorway. Kuroda slid his necklace across the blank screen accordingly, and a student id picture (he didn't recall ever taking) appeared on the monitor, along with his basic credentials. "You may proceed, Kuroda Daichi." As this was stated, the register faded and the hallway transformed into a secluded room with thickly padded walls.

Daichi shrugged and eventually stepped into the room. When he glided past the doorway, a grid was projected across the passage. He walked through nonchalantly, seemingly unaware of the illustration. The door behind him disappeared as well, leaving him alone in the all-white training area. Another voice echoed from an unknown source, breaking the silence that lasted only a few seconds. "As you wait for your opponent, please note that an individual protective barrier has been activated upon entering the room. This shield will assure your safety during the match."

Speaking of winning or losing maybe ooc or private message we can discuss the structure of the fight and decide who wins before hand? Might help facilitate speed and fairness

I think PM is a better choice, that way the conclusion of each fight could come out to be a surprise for everyone else~
If I read these posts correctly... there's still a chance for me to apply for the Second Sibling, correct? :3
@Mivuli I was curious about the same thing, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem if there was a slight delay with the responses similar to the pacing we've been maintaining here, right?
