I finally got around to watching A Silent Voice. Very nice to see some deaf culture representation in anime.

I wouldn't mind putting my interest down for the Fairy Tail RP. I also wouldn't mind being your slave co-gm.

Of coarse if the Naruto one wins, I'll be happy to join that though. Fair warning, it's been literal YEARS since I've even glimpsed at anything Naruto related. I did hear that it ended recently and there's a kid named Salad.

On the topic of Slayers, I've never really understood why other Rpers are so intimidated by Slayers. Granted, the anime does make them out to be literal Gods with no flaws whatsoever aside from really situational ones like motion sickness, but that's because Fairy Tail as an anime is kind of trash and falls into really typical anime tropes. No hate please. Just because it's bad doesn't mean we can't still love it.

However, from my initial understanding of Slayers, I always thought that whilst they're capable of using their respective element to a more destructive extent, their control over said element would be lacking compared to a normal elemental mage. Slayers use their elements to enhance their body to mimic the attacks of dragons, so they're mostly melee oriented fighters with a high resistance to a certain element.

Whereas a regular elemental mage is more of a conductor to an orchestra. They have much more finesse and control over their element and can use it in ways a Slayer could not. At least, that's always how I've viewed it. Feel free to correct me if you think it's incorrect.
@Lmpkio Would you be interested in this?
@Pudding Exactly. In the end, all of our characters are Avatar The Last Airbender style reincarnations of an original Cosmic Prince. The side they're on is not determined by their own personal philosophies, but rather the side their first life was on.

On that note, I should probably mention that our characters won't retain any memories of previous lives. At least not to begin with.

EDIT: Fate and Cycles play quite a big role in the story of this rp. Just so you know. Particularly challenging the very fate that binds all Magical Boys into the never ending cycle of death and reincarnation.
@Pudding I'm still deciding whether I want that to be the case. I don't want to restrain people's creativeness when it comes to their characters.

I'll get more into it in the OOC, but I was thinking that the Sun Prince's have more of an emphasis on personal power and status whilst the Moon Princes have principles steeped in justice and selflessness. The Sun Prince's are more interested in the hunt, destroying shadows as a means to prove their worth in battle. That is not to say that they do not have humanities best interests in mind, but the Moon Prince's are much more righteous; believing their purpose as Magical Boy's is to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the world.

This divide in ideals could relate to how each Magical Boy uses their powers. A Sun Prince might have abilities that increase their combat potential ten fold, allowing them to be more effective at destroying Shadows. A Moon Prince will still have the power to take on Shadows and other Princes, but their abilities might have a more selfless nature to them.

EDIT: But please don't think this is a black or white situation! There can be characters who are more selfish yet still belong to the Moon Princes just as their can be compassionate characters as Sun Princes.
Yes, hopefully! Be sure to tag anyone who might be interested.

Which reminds me,

@Empath and @Space Boyfriend, I'm putting Dreamscape aside so I can have a bit of a look at everything I've got planned and try and think of a new way of presenting it. In the meanwhile, I'd like to start up this much more relaxed project. It's very different from Dreamscape, but I'd love to have you in this RP if you're interested.
@Zarkun hope it all goes well!

@hatakekuro Aaw, I'm sorry :(

I miss our old doggy too.

@Uno I'm glad to have your potential interest!

A Magical Boy Roleplay GM'd by Leslie Hall

"We're Magical Boys; it's our destiny to protect the world from Shadows"

We remember them a little differently with each telling. The story ends the same, but the journey is always different. With each incarnation of new heroes, we watch them gather their hopes and fight against their fate. Our world has never been perfect. There is so much hate and pain that plagues the hearts of humans, causing all types of horrible malicious ailments such as depression, anxiety and anger. The power of these negative feelings is strong enough to give birth to horrible creatures of darkness; Shadows.

Left alone, Shadows will feast on the hearts of man; growing and festering until they eventually reproduce and continue to spread despair. That's where you come in. Thousands of years ago, a group of heroes rose against the Shadows and protected humanity from their own demons. These valiant warriors of light and love were known as the Cosmic Princes; young boys gifted with the power to fight Shadows. You are their descendant, a reincarnation of a Cosmic Prince who has inherited the great power of your respective Prince. You and your fellow Prince's alone are bound by fate to fight Shadows and keep the world safe for another generation.

Unfortunately, not all of the Prince's see eye to eye. There was a schism within the original Prince's that separated our heroes into two groups; The Sun Princes and the Moon Princes. This divide has remained even generations later, the rivalry becoming part of the nature of every reincarnated Prince. What caused the Prince's to divide? We no longer remember. Despite their differences, both groups hunt Shadows during the night and sometimes even each other. All the while, the enigmatic Chaos Witches lurk in the darkness. Just who are they? What connection do they have with the Shadows? What are their goals? All such interesting questions...

... I wonder what answers we'll find this time?

Greetings! I'm Leslie and welcome to 'Stardust Memory'. This is a Magical Boy roleplay primarily based off of Madoka Magica. As such you can expect similar dark themes to be present within this RP. Nothing too heavy, as this is all in good fun.

Our characters will be reincarnations of the first Cosmic Princes, destined to battle Shadows and protect the Earth. There are three different groups in this roleplay that people can be apart of. The Sun Princes, the Moon Princes and the Chaos Witches. That latter group is extremely limited and we won't be having more than 1-2 Witches to start with.

If you have any questions, I will do my best to explain what I can without spoiling anything. I'm looking for at least 3 Magical Boys per side and 2 Witches. If you have a preference, then let me know. I'm not sure how big I'd like this to be, but if we get quite a few members I wouldn't mind 1-2 volunteers to be GM's with me.

With that, I don't think I need to explain much more as this is just a general interest check. More details will come with the OOC if we get to that stage.
Pre 2011 Homestuck Fandom was pretty rad. It didn't last though. It seems a lot better now though that the webcomic has ended and there's less of a hype train surrounding it.

A fandom I've always disliked is that portion of the Undertale fandom that were all "If you don't play the game this way your playing it WRONG and you should feel BAD". I loved Undertale, and I would always recommend the Pacifist route, but if people want to play the Genocide route that just let them. They paid the 10 bucks, they can play the game how they want.
@Lunarlors34 I love my cat, but she's not really an affectionate animal. She chills out with the dog and then does her own thing. She'll meow when she's hungry and that's about as much contact as you'll get from her.

It's probably for the best, since I'm allergic to her.
