Great, thank you!

I don't know how the game decides it can't put a character into a color in canon, but I was thinking he might be Unknown because, along with the other-worldly nature of his avatar's body, he can fit into any color when looking at fighting style (like ADamnFiddle mentioned), and at the same time doesn't fit into any of them when going by Yuuma's desires. In fact, Yuuma's not even 100% sure himself why he wants to shut Brain Burst down, which is his only goal with installing the program (my first post will have more on his desires, but the gist is he goes around saying he's doing it to protect all of Brain Burst's users, but that there's probably definitely other, more selfish and petty reasons along with that one).

You guys definitely know better about the colors, though, and I'm fine with him being categorized as anything. Whatever fits him best works for me.
@ADamnFiddle
Sounds good, thank you ^^ I should be alright for now, at least.

Here's the first attempt at a sheet.

Edit:
@Undying Curiosity
Ah, okay, that makes sense. Would the avatar being made up of some weird space-age material make it Unknown? If not, then yeah, Black or White (or Red) would work just fine.
@sakurasan
I can't answer that one, but if we ever take a vote for this too, I say yes lol.
@Vocab
Ah okay, cool, thank you.

And yeah, I was looking over all the names to see, but I wasn't sure if Xero was Black or Unknown, since I thought 'Void' could fit both.
Hmm, would I maybe be able to make a character of Unknown color, to fit the ability of having limited shapeshifting and being made up of an unknown substance?

Unless there's already an Unknown character, in which case I won't go for it, since it's supposed to be really rare. I can't tell for sure, but it seems like Void Chrono might be Unknown?
@sakurasan
Nope, it's not. Character's only look like that when they're soul-linked with their guardian, and they only soul link when they're going to fight or something, I guess.
@Vocab
Oh, I didn't realize there was already a Mercury character. From how I understand, there can only be one character for each type of metal, which is fine, I can come up with something else. It was just a very early idea I was throwing out to see if it'd be worth spending more time on.
@Cenco Your stalking has not gone unnoticed.

You got me.

I'm super interested. Since I've never watched Accel World, though, I'm just making sure to re-read and understand everything as best as I can before beginning work on a character. Ya know, so I don't make you guys have to review my CS like 6 times before I get it right.

Oh, on that note, I've got a question about the metals. I'm thinking of having a mercury-based Duel Avatar. Under the 'Color-types/Fighting Styles' hider of the first post, it says:

Each metal color is taken from a metal on the periodic table, and the Duel Avatar's characteristics will be that of the metal.

I get the idea, but because it's kind of a vague guideline I want to ask directly: Would the ability to sort of shift the character's own shape fit mercury, due to it being liquid at room temperature? Basically, being able to shift any part of its body from solid to liquid and back again. Also being unusually fast and mobile, but without being able to take hits well for a metal avatar?
They can only go to unaware characters, who need a reason to get them... and some idea of how they're going to cope with having a bigass shield or two-handed sword around, because they're still complete (it's why they were so easily found).

Excalibur's requirements come from it being the wielder's second relic after the first was gone--so rather than simply affecting how it manifests, their experience (and additional power) imprinted something of themselves as a requirement. So... pretty much just an expectation of a chivalrous nature. Also being British.

Cool, thanks for the answers.

I'm not set on this outfit yet, but while I'm still deciding I may as well ask. Is it too magitechy for a SAGA girl?
If we're still taking votes, I'll say B too. Starts us closer to the action and all. Though really, either or works.
