Character Name:
Johnathan "Johnny" Storm
Character Alias:
The Human Torch
Character Allignment:
Hero
Character Appearance:
Johnny is about 6'0" tall, and 168 lbs. His hair is blonde and his eyes are blue. His body is well-built and slim, close to an athlete's body build. He is a young man, his age is 20. Johnny's hair is usually arched into a faux hawk. When he is on fire, his skin turns red and his eyes turn into yellow balls of flames, and a yellow aura of flames surrounds his body. His feet are turned into pure flames when he is flying as well.
Characters Abilities:
Pyrokinesis - Johnny can transform into flames, the reason he is known to the public as the Human Torch. From becoming light as oxygen when turning into this mode, he is able to fly in the air or throw fireballs as well. Unfortunately, if something cold like ice or if he's in the winter in this mode, he'd instantly shift back into human form if cold enough. He can also become as hot as the sun, which is called his 'Super Nova' mode. If he does this though, he could kill himself and the whole Earth.
Fire Resistance - Johnny can walk into flames without being hurt at all. This is because the radiation made him very durable towards fire. He can even walk into flame-related explosions, but he can only do these things when he is in Human Torch mode, because he is a fire when he does this.
Flying - Johnny can fly, as a result of being light as oxygen as a flame would be in Human Torch mode. He can fly as high and low anywhere, as long if there's oxygen. So if he gets too high, his flame would burn out and he'd turn back into a human.

Characters Skills:
Engineering Skills - Taking an interest into vehicles and other machines, Johnny broke things down and learned how they were build. Once learning how they were built, he could build it back with no problems in it. This taught him how to build, and he learned more about building things on his own. Johnny could build a motorcycle if he was given enough tools, or even a truck. It's a reason why his father, Franklin Storm had chose him to come to the Baxter Building, even though he wasn't as smart as the rest of the team.
Intelligence - He may not be as smart as Reed or his sister, Susan, but engineering his taught him a lot. He learned his way around things, as he wanted to be as smart as Susan and his dad. Johnny learned how things worked, and he was a decently fast learning person.
Piloting - When Johnny built his first (minature) airplane, he realized that he wanted to be a pilot. He went to an academy, read about flying, and became pretty good at it. He then started to get it into flying in space, and it's another reason he was chosen to come to the Baxter Building.

Origin Story:
Johnathan Storm was born in New York City, 1996, three years after his older sister, Susan Storm in a family of geniuses, not to mention, a very rich family at that. Franklin Storm, his father, was a scientist who made many important breakthroughs, and created one of the most famous buildings in NYC, the Baxter Building.
Franklin Storm was a very busy man, and never really spent any time with his family. This sometimes made Johnny a little sad and even more frustrated with his life. When Susan and Johnny's mother died, Johnny was completely devastated. It was clear their father was too, and their father started focusing way more on Johnny and Susan ever since.
Johnny grew to be an sarcastic, joker, and cocky person. Which annoyed his sister, a lot. It was another reason why he was different from his sister and father, and made him feel like an outcast.
Susan became a genius, just like their father, but unfortunately Johnny was not like either of them. Johnny wasn't a genius like they were, and his intelligence was definitely not as high as theirs. This frustrated him to the point of having jealousy for his sister, and irritation at his father. Johnny worked as hard as he could to be like them, until he learned of his own talents. He had an very, very wild imagination. Johnny learned he could build mini-creations, draw pretty decent concept arts for possible creations, he even knew how to make an actual airplane at age 15, even though he never build one, he just knew how. This may have been because of him reading magazines about these type of things in boredom.
Johnny became very interested in aerospace engineering, specifically for things in space. Reading about NASA and other sources for these things, he went to a school for these things at age 18, thanks to his dad. This helped Johnny learn how to actually fly a spacecraft and be an astronaut. Johnny was the youngest person every trained for spaceflight, the second being Tatyana Kuznetsova.
When Johnny learned about the funding problem and how the his father, Franklin Storm couldn't keep the Baxter Building running on his own, Johnny requested to put his spaceflight skills to the test and be the pilot for the mission they were planning. At first, his father didn't like the idea of it, as Johnny has never flied an real spacecraft, but after days of begging, Franklin finally let Johnny help as they were starting to get desperate at the Baxter Building.
Johnny started to become good friends with Reed Richards, at first Johnny didn't really like Reed, as Reed reminded Johnny how much of a black sheep he was in his family, or at least that's how he felt. But once he got to know Reed, he started to like him. The same thing with Jennifer Walters, she seemed like a pretty nice person as soon as he met her. Johnny was actually a pretty easy person to get along with once you get past his attitude,
Even though Johnny could barely comprehend the things that young geniuses, Reed Richards and Susan were created, he tried his best to help. Mostly working on the spacecraft with Reed than the 'engine' that Susan was creating.
Soon enough they were finished with it, and Reed believed it was going to be a breakthrough. It was, just not in the way they had planned...
Johnny and the rest of the group were hit by some sort of cosmic storm, at least that's what it seemed like, the spacecraft was practically almost done for. Johnny, fortunately, saved the group's lives by crash landing into the Atlantic Ocean. Johnny blacked out completely, until a few days later, he and the others finally woke up in a hospital. He did not expect, however, to instantly burst into flames once he found out that he was in a coma as the doctor calmly told him so.
Johnny started to grow to like his powers, and even though the rest of the group obviously wanted to get rid of them, he wanted to keep them and become a superhero of sorts. Not like there was a cure, as they couldn't find a single one for their new superhuman abilities.
The others soon learned to deal with their abilities once a gigantic monster started causing rampage around the Baxter Building. Reed figured they were the only four who could stop the giant. They were able to stop the thing and much to Johnny's disgust, Reed took a sample of it.
Johnny and Susan's father soon retired from the Baxter Building, and Reed named the organization the Future Foundation. All Johnny can really say about his new life is that it's something he'd never give up to be normal.

Johnny woke up with a sudden gasp, looking around the room he was in with heavy breaths. He looked down at his clothes to notice he was wearing a hospital gown, and slowly started to remember what happened. Storm... Crash... Ocean.... "Oh no..." He muttered, where were was Susan?
"Susan? Susan!" Johnny jumped out of his bed, and got up, but suddenly a nurse and doctor walked in the room. The nurse placed her hand on his chest, making him sit back down softly. "W-Where's my sister? Where's Reed?" Johnny gripped his head, starting to panic.
"Calm down, your friends and your sister are okay. They were brought here as well." The nurse said calmly, obviously trying to keep Johnny calm. Johnny bit his lip, and looked at the doctor with worried eyes. He swallowed.
"I need to see my sister, I-I..." Johnny's mind was racing, and his head started to hurt. All he needed to do right now, was see Susan.
"Sir, we're going to need you to stay calm for this..." The doctor said, rubbing his temple. It was obvious that the doctor was about to tell bad news to him. Oh God, did someone die? Johnny was about to tear up. Johnny had completely lost his usual cocky attitude, he was confused and scared.
"W-W... What is it? .... Just tell me already!" Johnny snapped, the doctor breathed nervously.
"You've been in a.. coma for about three days."
"What!?" Johnny, suddenly then ignited into a bright flame. Both the nurse and doctor were blown black, their eyes wild with fear. Johnny screamed. "Whats wrong....? Whoa... WHA?! I'M ON FIRE! SOMEONE HELP ME!" He started frantically running around.
The nurse and doctor ran out of the room, and seconds later, the nurse came back with a fire extinguisher and hosed Johnny down.
