Frostbite made his way downstairs, wondering what was specifically in the underground hanger when he heard faint gunshots nearby. This caused him to tense, he pulled his freeze gun from it's holster and pulling on the tube that connected it to his suit. When he turned a corner with his weapon raised, he noticed that the gunfire had been coming from the training room. Holstering his weapon, he approached the door, only for it to tell him that 'a session was in progress.' Frostbite looked around for a bit, figuring there must be some kind of observation room, which he found up a small flight of stairs. The observatory for the training room wasn't very big, lined on one side with chairs while on the other with a series of glass windows that overlooked the training room, along with a small desk that probably allowed one to speak into the room during a session.

Peering into the room below, Frostbite saw Sniper was in some kind of ruined, urban environment, fighting against what were probably holographic enemies. He crossed his arms as the 'living' targets fired upon the lone man who was hiding behind cover. Frostbite wasn't sure if the simulation hid the observation deck from those inside, hopefully not as it could be distracting to those using said room. It seemed the young man had chosen a moderate or difficult training program, as the holographic targets showed a kind of organization most gangs or low-grade mobsters would ever get on a battle field but the targets weren't moving like professional soldiers. Frostbite observed with interest, waiting to see what Sniper would do next.
If there are any issues with my post, let me know, I kinda finished it hastily...
With the meeting finished, Frostbite made his way to the front to retrieve his bed and install it into his room. As he was making his way there, he thought about those he had just observed.

Their leader, Titan, didn't seem overly thrilled about working for the mayor, as did some of the others. She seemed... Hostile, deceptive and possibly cruel, underneath that poorly concealed mask. He's seen, during his merc years, similar characters as ones who never play all their cards unless the worst actually comes into play, even then they still hold back some of their aces. He doesn't recognize her name from his researching, but he simply could have missed it. While he didn't have to like her, he would certainly respect her position.

Beauty Matthews, alias 'Kisses Galore', was certainly worst than he thought. He easily found info about her as she seems to love to be in the spot-light. His first actual impression? She was a spoiled rich brat who liked being a glorified stripper when working her 'day-job' or when 'subduing' criminals with her powers. Since her powers are based on 'love' and manipulation, he'd have to watch his back around her.

Then there was 'Toon Master', who was probably between 14-15 years of age. While the child had a lot of energy and was far more childlike and innocent for Frostbite's liking, he could not deny that this child's powers were dynamically useful. The child also didn't reveal his identity while doing 'hero' work, meaning he wasn't stupid either. Though hiding one's identity from the mayor was probably beyond any of their capabilities, the fact the child wanted to hide his actual life from people (also enemies) was wise enough. Irrelevant of what this child's abilities are, however, he was still a child who will most likely interfere or slow down the team due to his yet-to-be fully developed nature.

Also there was 'Sniper', real name (as given) is Skylar and his friend Evan. While Frostbite has seen the aftermath of his battles, Sniper's overall non-lethal methods would obviously make it harder at certain points in his conflicts, however, his constant success has proven his capability to deal with other 'supers' through his time. Despite his research though, Frostbite didn't know he had a friend who worked with him. It only made sense when some of the situations he was in seemed like a second pair of eyes watching him. They would have made great mercs if they wanted too. Sniper's duplication power, or at least it seems to be, might have some use, Frostbite will have to observe and see what downsides this may have.

There was the blond, bio-limbed man named Axle, alias 'AX-L'. While he was a lay-low, kind of take to the media as a hero, Frostbite managed to connect some of the reports of such a man beating up criminals of various descriptions. A man who gets straight too the point it seems, when dealing with information. This pleased Frostbite, meaning the man takes his job seriously and keeps it separate from his personal life-style.

Sophie, alias 'Rakshasi'. The name Rakshasi, from what Frostbite could find, was a female variant of a mythological Hindu spirits called Rakshasa. These creatures were, in short, brutish, bloodthirsty and vile, and from Sophie's track-record, it seemed to fit. However, when directly translated (from Indonesian or Malay), it can mean 'Monster', when used commonly. Whether or not she chose this name for that reason or on purpose is unknown to him however. Besides that, he knew little about her powers or her weaknesses but was not going to underestimate or openly insult her, as she has left most of those behind her nothing but puddles of blood and flesh.

By this time, Frostbite had managed to get to his door after dismantling the lid off of his bed to put it into his room. The door asked him emotionless-ly, "Daniel Heart. Frostbite. Set Password." Frostbite groaned inwardly, seems the mayor decided to let them know that he knows who they are. Ignoring this, Frostbite thought about what his password should be, it had to be something he didn't forget. The answer crossed his mind and he gave the soulless machine his answer, "Dead Cold." The machine responded shortly afterwords, "Accepted." and revealing the scanner he was to use. Frostbite again groaned inwardly, placing the bed's lid down, going through the 2 minute shutdown sequence with his battle-armour before he could get out and then exposed his hand by dismantling the glove on his Life Suit, which ended up with him basically taking off the entire arm of the suit, have the device scan his blue hand with black fingers, for it then to open the door and have him reverse the 6 minute adventure of putting everything back on again. When he had done so he spoke to the door, "Remain open." It responded with a 'Affirmative'. He then placed the lid into his room and continued back to the front for the rest of his stuff.

He was going to have to change the annoying scanning device with something else. Probably another password based system that would only work from his suit. While, on top of that, having this secondary password change every 10 minutes but only feed his suit the new password when within a certain range of his room. He had seen this stuff used on the market, though it still annoyed him that he had wasted about 10-15 minutes to get off his gear to simply put it back on again. With that mental thought locked away for later, Frostbite continued his personal review and opinion of the team so far.

Then there was the robot, called itself Mack with it's alias probably being it's second name 'Bladewolf'. Whether it was an actually independent machine or one controlled in the background, it made Frostbite partially nervous. Out of all these 'allies', this machine could be used as an informant for the mayor, besides Titan. He has seen reports to a robot dog helping people, which were all pretty much dismissed by the police. This didn't change Frostbite's mind, he would have to watch the machine and see what it does.

That was all of those that introduced themselves, those that remained silent were either completely cowardly, like the girl who didn't seem overly confident, or preferred not to reveal anything, like the one who hid behind the fox mask. This meant they had no experience or professional sense and probably will end up as dead-weight to the rest of the group. If there were others to come but haven't arrived yet, Frostbite already didn't like them as they have wasted time.

By this time he had finished moving all his stuff into his room and connecting the various water hoses to the bed that someone had put there on purpose, He would have to wait for 2 hours before the bed was ready to use, so he used this time to explore the mansion, to identify where he may spend his time as well as where he won't be spending his time.

I don't know, maybe the restart is not yet necessary, and perhaps for now we can have faith in a large [Recruiting] in the topic name. And thing that I liked is that it was not a typical fantasy with elves and dorfs (even if I have a huge love for dorfs), but a low-fantasy thing without any magic, but with struggling humans, and dragons who appear to be struggling even more.Anyways, the addition of the elves and dwarves will not diminish my interest in this, I am still a faithful supporter of this RP

I have to agree, the lack of Elves and 'dorfs' is kind of refreshing. If these were done without using their general tropes, maybe. If you do let them become part of this world, I wouldn't mind seeing orks or the like, cause they always seem to make things more interesting. Whatever floats your boat about that matter.

To be honest, if you want to open it for more people, even at the cost of restarting, I'm personally fine with that, though I can't speak for Enkas and Sheikarah.

Well you have 1 response from me.
The semi-trailer jolted from a bump, causing Frostbite to wobble a bit but he seemed unfazed as his battle-armour kept him stable. He was thinking back to about a week and a half ago, when he was 'hired' for this new team of sorts. It was a normal mission for him, he'd hear about a possible planned crime and would make his way there via the sewer system and arrive before the crime actually took place. It seemed someone had figured out he was doing this when his last mission ended up having SWAT and some other police officers waiting for him instead of surprised criminals. A man, who claimed he represented someone else, gave him an ultimatum, work for with a team who had similar methods of dealing with crime, or go to jail. Jail, for Frostbite anyway, would mean death as the prison warden probably wouldn't allow for an energy hog like his heatwave bed. Frostbite agreed to work with these 'heroes' and the police force stood down and backed off. He had then been spending the last week researching who might end up on this 'team'. He got some of the 'big' heroes as well as possible hints to the smaller ones who tried to keep themselves hidden. He honestly hoped these events would help him find Dr. Cold before she left this city as well.

Another thump from the semi-trailer drew Frostbite back to the present, making him think about making his own form of transportation. He also wondered if the group he would be working with would even have a dedicated transport for such a large city. He quickly pushed that thought away for later as he felt the cargo container come to a stop. Within a few moments, he heard the latch to the door of the cargo container click, with the door opening and the container being bathed in sunlight. The man who had been driving him had given up trying to make small talk with the man within the large suit when there were no responses given to him, at all. As the driver of the semi-truck got the lift ready, Frostbite wheeled his bed to said lift. While he can carry the separate parts to the bed with his battle-armour, the trolley he was using made life a lot easier. As the lift to the semi-trailer lowered slowly, Frostbite took a quick glance at the building he was to call his home for the next little while. While he has been in bases underground that were much bigger than this, it was probably the biggest building he'll ever actually live in himself. However, he wasn't pleased with it. It was not a protected area, it simply was an eye-sore to any strategist who was either trying to defend the place or attack it. Maybe the interior was much more formidable than all the glass walls.

When the lift finally made it to ground level, Frostbite pushed the trolley with his bed up the walkway, ignoring the driver of the semi as he expected thanks. The man drove off in a bad mood while Frostbite ignored all those he passed by on his way to the stairs and inwardly sighed as he realized he would have to carry up his bed manually from here on in. He set it to the side when he could hear voices inside the mansion, and made his way in to 'introduce' himself. He then glanced at those who were now around him. He saw a variety of characters, what peaked his interest the most was the dog and the man with robotic limbs, they stood out like sore-thumbs among the group, not that Frostbite didn't as well.

Frostbite gave his full attention to a woman who introduced herself as Titan and Sam, presumably first name Sam and alias 'Titan'. Since there seemed no one was speaking, Frostbite decided to 'introduce' himself first, ignoring the woman's, who he identified as Beauty, comment. He gave a quick nod of acknowledgment to Sam, "Frostbite." His voice was distorted, sounded like it had a robotic tone with a tiny bit of an echo like that of being in a hollow chamber. He got the feeling some of those around him expected more than that but that's all he cared to say, he wanted to get these introductions over with so he could go and install his bed, do what needs to be done for or with this team of probable misfits and find Dr. Cold.

Hey uh, is this still open?

Unfortunately no, they just closed it recently.
Updated my CS as requested. Here's a link to the post itself so you don't have to track it down again.

-Edit-
Just a side note, Monster's link to Asuras's character doesn't seem to work for me. Can someone else verify this or am I the only one with that issue?
Name: Daniel Heart (prefers his alias over his actual name, if his name is known by other people)

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Appearance: Blue eyes, an icy blue skin-tone with black-ish fingers & toes. When wearing his battle-armour, he weighs about the same as a full grown horse.
Total Battle-Armour Height: 7' 3"
Actual + Life Suit Height: 6' 1"

Personality: Cold, blunt, calculating, to the point and uncaring about people and their well being if the person is of little consequence to himself. Can have lethal reactions to annoyances. Can be highly inpatient or bored when in a conversation.

Skills: Weapon knowledge, general understanding of cryogenics, minor medical understanding, military training. Plays a good 'bad-cop' in interrogation situations.

Weaknesses: Not a people person, views allies as assets to further his own goals. Had an allergy of peanuts, however, he's never tested if he still has this allergy after his accident.

Relationship: Single

Alignment: Neutral Evil - While a man of his word, Frostbite is ultimately out for himself. He'll keep his 'friends' alive if he considers them useful to his goals or if he's given them a promise of sorts. While he won't simply kill for the sake of it, he won't hesitate to do so if killing said person is more of a benefit then a downside.

Alias: Frostbite

Origin of Powers: A mission with one of his previous contracts didn't go as planned, causing Frostbite to be doused in an experimental chemical. Dr. Cold had her science team do their best in keeping him alive as well as trying out different experiments and pieces of experimental technology. The science team had created him a specialized 'bed' for him to rest in as well as two suits, a 'life' suit and his battle-armour. The 'life' suit is worn at all times other than sleep, even within his battle-armour. His battle-armour is the most intimidating part about him, making him a foot or so taller than most opponents. He's also armed with a unique 'freeze gun', making it his most iconic piece of equipment, this large pistol is hooked up to his battle-armour and can't be used without it.

Role in the Media and Public Eye: Frostbite is partially feared by the public, as there have been rumors spreading that he tortures those he interrogates. On top of that, the media love to paint him a villain of sorts, some however believe he's not as bad as he seems. Frostbite ultimately cares little about these opinions.

Other: I Will Rise

OOC note, or more of a personal request to everyone, can swearing be kept down to a minimum in the RP? I'm not saying don't have your char swear, just don't type the actual words used. I ask this because the internet I have access to blocks access to specific web-pages with 'too much weighted phrases'. I hope that's not too much to ask.
