^Skype and Google Docs do miracles for RPing. It's nice to be able to do joint-posts with people. Makes conversations in RP form look so much more natural.

I've been RPing since 2008 and I still haven't been in a game that formerly finished. I've been in at least a hundred that have died out or have become so slow paced they've become comatose. Really depressing, actually. I still have fun with these games, I just never get that feeling of closure I'd like.

Been doing a couple games with a close knit group of friends. We're moving at an extremely slow pace, but I feel those RPs are the only ones that have a chance. When you actually know who you are RPing with, it definitely makes getting things done a lot easier. As good as anonymous people can be, it's impossible to expect any to be reliable.

Maybe I'll be able to gloat about one I've finished one day. Doubtful, but, hey, I'll try to remain optimistic.
Hello there, everyone. I signed up a long time ago to the site but never ended up posting anywhere important, so I figured it'd be okay to have a fresh introduction. I used to be a member of the old site (same username), and I've been wanting to get back into more role-playing for quite some time now.

I write a lot, it's kind of my thing. When I'm not working or being educated, I hope to get included in a game or two so I can get these rusty fingers working again. If there's any pointers or useful tips I should know, I'd appreciate the help. Not new at this, but the site is definitely way different than what I'm used to.

Anywho, I'll see you all around the forums (hopefully).
So I haven't drawn in years, but I recently got myself an art tablet and have been toiling away at actually producing something pretty. Most of the things I'm interesting in drawing are comic related, though I have a feeling I'll branch out over time. Last night I spent a couple hours recreating the cover art for volume two of American Vampire. It's all imitation artwork, but to start somewhere, right?

The original cover is here. I only ended up using the 'magic marker' tool from Manga Studio 4, so I'll imagine things will look even better once I start using the brushes and get used to them. What do you guys think?
I love Demon's Souls and I loved Dark Souls too. I'm very excited for it so I pre-ordered the collector's edition as well. Gotta have dat badass knight statue. o.o

From what I've seen from it so far, it looks like it's generally the same thing as the previous games, just with a boost in the graphics. Of course, the thing I'm most excited about is the new environments and such. I always found the lonely world of Dark Souls interesting and mysterious. All the vague explanations to the lore behind the game make it feel so fresh, as you can use your own imagination to fill in the blanks.

Hoping they continue to do that with the second one.
