Savoring the second kiss, Gabriel was glad it lasted a bit longer. Sure, he wanted more. Who wouldn't? he thought, but he wasn't greedy or in a rush, so he felt like he could wait.
"Shall we go back home?" she said afterwards, and Gabriel nodded. The coolness of the air was starting to creep back after they had finished their embrace. "Yeah, that sounds good. Fresh air only gets so fresh when it's in the city." he joked, giving her a wink. While they headed back, the others from the pack talked about the situation.

"I can't believe we'll be moving into a house, guys!" Thomas says enthusiastically. "Calm down, kid." responded Conrad cooly. "We don't know if we're moving in anywhere yet, we're just visiting because she offered." Jaze put his hand on Conrad's shoulder. "Don't be so cold, Conrad." he said. "Vanessa seems like a really nice person. I'm sure we'll move in if she wants us to and if we think it's okay after we've been there." Conrad nodded in response. "Of course, I just mean nothing is set in stone yet."
Then they went quiet as the door opened and Gabriel and Vanessa returned.
When Vanessa leaned in close and put her hands and her head on his chest, Gabriel's heart skipped a beat. Indeed, they had said they were just friends but Gabriel knew they shared something special. Wether it was this strange connection or something more, he couldn't tell though.
She whispered to him. "I hope that you guys will like the other house.. I would really like it if you guys would stay with me there.."
"We haven't lived in a house for many years. I'm sure we will all love it." he responded softly, holding her close, his arms wrapping around her.
Then they stood there for a moment, and he saw she closed her eyes. After a short moment, she looked up again and he could feel the warmth in her eyes. She slowly got on her toes and gave him a light kiss, stunning him completely. They had only touched for a second, but he could still feel them, like a lingering sensation.
"It might sound crazy but I think that I am in love" she said softly. "In love.. with a very special person.. With brown hair, and half long, slight curling hair.. Who protected me without asking something back for it.." He smiled slightly. "That is pretty crazy." he said smoothly. "But I guess I'm going crazy as well, falling in love with a girl who took care of me when I was beaten and probably saved my life."
He kept holding her in his arms, looking into her eyes. He was quite confident, but he didn't have much experience in the ways of love. He didn't know wether or not to kiss her now, act smoothly and be all like "How about another kiss?" or if he should be the sensetive type and just keep looking into her eyes and let her make the move... Those eyes just paralyzed him with their beauty.
Gabriel smiled a bit when Vanessa hooked their arms together. It was nice walking with someone like this. "Gabriel?" she said. "I want you all to stay... I feel safer then." Gabriel opened his mouth to speak, possibly to object out of courtisy but Vanessa continued. "Please, let them just sleep on the couch or even on the ground but let them stay warm... It's autumn, it gets colder every night." she continued, almost begging him. He gave her a warm smile. "Of course. If you don't mind the crowd, we'll all stay the night." he said, reassuringly.
"We can pick up your beings tomorrow morning. Please... Stay with me." she said, looking up at him. He met her eyes and time froze around him. He didn't feel the autumn night's chill anymore. All he saw were those two brown(?) eyes looking at him and he didn't know what to say. He wanted to say Of course I'll stay with you, Vanessa. It was the least he could do. But the words disappeared on their way through his mind. Even in the dark of this dim-lit street, she looked stunning. She was actually quiet beautiful, Gabriel realized. Or rather, he had known it all along, but this moment was different.

He remained quiet, just looking back into her eyes.
ayyy thanks buddy :]
Gabriel could feel the others' eyes on him when Vanessa had told them of the big black wolf of her tale. Gabriel himself felt incredibly guilty.
He closed his eyes for a moment as Vanessa touched his hand. He said nothing while Vanessa spoke to the group about beds... Or even when Robyn spoke. Gabriel didn't want to intrude upon Vanessa's personal space with all his gang though, so at the end he voiced his opinion. "We'll go back to our camp and gather up a few things and we'll meet you here in the morning. I'll allow Robyn to stay if she wants to, but I really don't want to intrude and crowd your apartment. I wouldn't want to make you uncomfrotable, I mean." he said.
Then, Vanessa looked at him and nodded. "Will you.. Take a walk with me? I really would like some fresh air.." she said. Gabriel nodded, a bit surprised at first but it was no big deal. "Of course. I suppose... You guys get cozy or something." he said to the others. "We'll be back in a bit."
He then fetched Vanessa's and his own coats, handed her hers and put his on. "I'll be glad with some fresh air too..." he said quietly to Vanessa once they were in the hallway.

Once they were out, Thomas, Jaze, Conrad and Robyn sat quietly for a moment. Conrad spoke up. "I guess now we know why Gabriel told us that story earlier, and why he was so upset at the flowershop earlier." he said. Jaze nodded understandingly, and Thomas raised his voice in surprise; "This is so weird! This is why he's been acting so weird since he met her. It must be her scent or something! This is crazy, how he's met her after all these years!"
Conrad agreed, his face concerned. "Gabriel had the most violent turning of any werewolf I know... And he's also the strongest I've ever met. Not that I have met a lot of them, mind you, but I think we could all agree he's something special." he said. "I agree. I haven't seen anyone as powerful as Gabriel yet, except for one or two savage alphas. There aren't many of them in the big cities though..." said Jaze, having been quiet in thought for a while.
"Man, this is just so crazy..." Thomas said, leaning back on the couch, dumbfounded.

When they were outside, Gabriel found it hard to come up with any words. There was a lot he wanted to say to her about her story, but he didn't think she was ready to hear the truth just yet. They had just met a few days ago, so naturally you wouldn't trust someone like that with your deepest secret, but... Vanessa was different. They had a connection, something Gabriel realized they probably have had since he first turned that awful night, years ago. She could never know he was the one to...
He shook off the thought and found courage to speak. "You alright? Fresh air is nice and all but it's pretty chilly out."
No problem (13 days later).

I just wanted to let you know I'm right now also having insanely huge problems in my life. I'm dealing with is best I can and mostly this RP is a good way to relax and think about something else, but it may hinder me from posting. It hasn't yet, but there's a big posibility that it will.

Just to let you know!
(( I find this new background to be quite cool actually! Let's go with that! ))

At first, the group smiled and listened to Vanessa's story, thinking the "Miss Wolf Claw" thing would be some silly thing from her childhood. It turned out to be only half right of what they thought. Their expressions grew worried and grave as she continued the story, showing them her scar.
Now Gabriel realized why she had told him not to run away. He thought she was just teasing him back... But she must have noticed he saw the scars from earlier. Gabriel swallowed a lump in his throat.

She told them everything. Of why she had a house in the woods, about her mother, father and brother. About a big black wolf. About the killings. Gabriel stood still, unable to move. He was paralyzed with horror.
Tears started welling in her eyes. Gabriel was terrified. He was so ashamed, so guilt-grieved about what he had done, what he remembered as a haze, a blurr... Now he knew why her scent was so familiar. It was her, after all. The girl from the night of his first turning...

When she finished her story, the group was quiet for a moment. Everyone was uncomfortable. Thomas spoke up uncertainly. "I-I'm sure it was just some sort of dream your mind made up to explain the--" he started, but Gabriel raised his hand swiftly and gave Thomas a stern glance, silencing him. "It's alright. I'm truly sorry, I didn't realize... There was such a sad story to the name. That's quite a scar you have there." he put his hand on her shoulder gently, to comfort her. "It's... Getting late. Maybe we should all rest for the few hours remaining before we leave?"
"A good friend? Oh but Miss 'Wolf Claw'," Gabriel started, flattered but still teasing, "Such kind words you say! We only just met recently." he gave her a wink, wanting to hug her as well but decided to wait for a less awkward moment for that. Thomas raised a brow. "Yeah what the hell did he mean with that? Miss Wolf Claw?" he said, suspicious. The others were getting curious as well. They could feel by her scent that she wasn't one of them, but did she have a connection to their secret or was it just a stupid nickname?

Gabriel gave Thomas a wave. "Now, now, suspicion and distrust is no way to treat our hostess, am I right?" he said. Jaze and Conrad nodded, and Thomas' expression softened.
The others were just about to all stand up at once and fight over who gets to shower next (with Robyn being most successfull) when the doorbell rang. Everyone froze, including Gabriel, but seeing Vanessa walk quite calmly and fearlessly to the door they stayed where they were. Still, Gabriel was ready for the worst.
During the entire conversation, Gabriel was baffled with the exchange of words. First of all, he thought, Miss wolf claw? What the hell is that? The two by the door kept talking. Someone had seen them entering three hours ago. Then they started talking about rent, and Gabriel was surprised to hear how adamant Vanessa was. She took no crap from that man. "Is your rent late? Wont he be mad if he doesn't get his due before you move out? And.. I didn't even think you would be moving out completely." Gabriel said, stunned. "Also I didn't know you were such a badass. I thought you were all sunshine and flowers, peace and love?" he added with a playful sneer, teasing her.
For a moment, he was lost in her eyes... Not only were they mysterious, they were also beautiful. "My stupid landlord." she said and smiled softly. Gabriel snickered. "Let's hope he would bother you anymore. Quite a rude man to knock on your door in the middle of the night."

"Now about that shower..." Robyn spoke up, getting Gabriel's attention. "Vanessa, I wouldn't suppose you had clothes my size? Until I can wash these ones, I mean." she said. Thomas, Conrad and Jaze realized something. "Oh, right. Clothes. We'll wait with showering until we can wash out clothes, then." starts Conrad. "Sounds best. Gabriel was lucky she had clothes his size, but I doubt she has any for all of us. It's quite alright, we can wait another day." said Jaze and smiled. Thomas nodded agreeingly, but didn't feel 'wise' enough to speak.
"Sounds good to me." responded Gabriel. "Maybe we can scrape some money together for new clothes one day." he smiled. He turned back to Vanessa, meeting her eyes again...
Throughout the day, Julius was mostly excited to meet the new roommate of theirs and to finally have a cottage again. Nevermind that it would take a few days, he was excited. He even planned to help the carpenters, as he had found 'detention' to be quite fun. Perhaps the crafts teacher would be one of the carpenters? Maybe they are senior students?
Julius was starting to learn how things worked around Lauzurus. The students' well-being wasn't exactly the top priority, and instead learning was number one. No matter the cost. Weaklings were expelled (or died in incidents/accidents) regularly, and now and then Julius could see the occasionally injured junior. The senior wore scars, too, he had noted. This truly is a scary school.
So how did Lauzurus work? Well, Julius thought to himself, the students are expected to take care of themselves, much like in Northwrack. I suppose this is a step further towards the extreme, however.

Then came Trance Magic class. An interesting concept that Julius had heard some older students talking about, but in reality he had no clue whatsoever it was about. He simply had an open spot in his schedule for today and thought he would try out some different classes if he didn't find something fun.
Much to his astonishment however, Julius found that trance magic was so much more than fun. It was exciting. Who would have thought that dreaming and meditating would be exciting?
Losing himself to his dream, he drifted off into the north again. To his homeland. He wrapped a white cloak around Jenny Redoak, and the two shared a wonderous moment... Of course, when it was over Julius realized it had been a dream, but he felt strong. Confident. He had cleared his mind of most troubles and convinced himself he would pull through. Lauzurus wouldn't break him, like it had broken so many others. He accepted the fact that he will never know how and why his former room-mate Desmond, bless his soul, had died in such a way, and what really happened to him.

That post-girl sure had been mysterious, skulking around in the dark around their camp... Though she was kinda cute?
