That's one thing I never figured out about the show, the kid characters. Did they choose to be children when making characters for the game? Did the apocalypse make them kid sized (despite not affecting whatsherface's gender)?
[seinfeld voice] What's the deal with that? [/seinfeld voice]
Probably kids sized or actually kid-sized like Origami.
Aaron use's a weapon that is an 'ancient' concept, this weapon has seemingly not been used for over 200 hundred years and that is the bow. His skill in archery is fairly adept since most are uncommon with the practice of archery Aaron has to either find books about archery or teach himself, since archery is so uncommon the ammo for his bow is 'rare', he just make's them. Aaron's memories show that most forests have been untouched and the most common material usually used are leftover's from destroyed cities, etc. Wood is is not uncommon so Aaron can make as much arrow's as he pleases.
Repairing contributes mostly to his bow, perfecting how it's made and trying to replicate bow's before the war though the bow he currently uses's is not his creation he still takes note's from its design. Aaron can also repair some thing's other than his own weapon, but he is technically still considered a beginner.
For survival reasons, Aaron has learned to make a line between what is proved as disgusting and what is really disgusting. He trie's to do his best while cooking with the...food he does have and worries for any radiation within the meat.
| EQUIPMENT |
Aaron is equipped with a quiver and satchel. Within the satchel is purified water, elastic bandages, and various books that help him survive the wasteland. There are multiple maps he had created when he traveled, one of them was Las Vegas, though walking and adventuring so far he deems that map useless for now. The quiver hold's two different types of arrows, flammable and normal. The quiver only holds six arrows at a time, unlike traditional quiver's, Aaron has made a quiver that goes around his hips and when running or walking the arrows won't inevitably fall out as the arrows are strapped in against the quiver itself. There is also a bottle of oil that he use's to dip the arrowheads into to make flammable and! a lighter.

| WEAKNESSES AND LIMITATIONS |
Though, knowing how to fight he does not use his profession in archery as much. He cannot kill willingly without knowing if this person is truly deserving of death, basically a pacifist in the wasteland. Aaron cannot experience the emotion of aggression, without aggression he cannot derive the will to fight though he does have the ability to kill wasteland creatures but not the peaceful one's (the mutated deer). Learning from experience, Aaron know's that the world he currently live's in is extremely dangerous. He is always in the constant feeling of fear and cannot leave it without having the true sense of safety, thus he is bound to become timid around others and is less cooperative.
Aaron leaned against a dead tree, he watches the snow fall. The wind was blowing lightly, making a quiet tune. The heat of the fire radiated from the flame's. He stared, looking aimlessly at the ground. His eye's trying to look for something in the snow, but he didn't know what. As the fire crackled and time passing by, Aaron become's colder. He has no protection against the harsh cold, no blanket. Yet something kept him conscious, his pride and confidence most likely. Aaron had let himself down, trusting in nature instead of being the paranoid person he always once, he shouldn't of let his guard down and now he feels ashamed about himself. He'd have to start from point one again. His eye's began flickering, becoming weak in almost every second. His body weak and almost numb-like. His body was quitting, already took too much damage from the cold. His voice was shaky, attempting to call for help, but too late. His mind slipped into the land of unconscious and landed into what Aaron liked to call, The Sleeping Abyss.
The sheet is good, I just don't feel like the sheet seems. Designed for this particular setting? Like his character could just as well exist in the U.S and not in Japan. Maybe it's the lack of Backstory that's backfiring on me. He is sixteen, did he have time to travel through America before being sent to Japan? What was his credentials to join the NCR, did his father pay his trip to Japan? Elaborate on these things and I'll accept the sheet.
Aaron did not have time to travel though his memories were the mix of two people. A Brotherhood of Steel Squire and a boy with adept knowledge. Aaron's adventures are based off the dead squire, though in the sample post that is the dead squire's perspective. Though, Aaron thinks that he was saved after he was transported to a shack with a fire during his unconscious state.
His skill's in repairing and his knowledge. Though if needed Aaron could easily learn how to become a battle medic since he can quickly get on the top of things. That's how Aaron survive's in the wasteland, even with a pacifistic nature.
No, his father did not pay for the trip. Aaron thought that the trip was free and a synth spy basically had paid cap's for him.
Aaron gain's help of other synth's because he is the only one allowed to have free thinking. ( Aaron help's the Institute gain knowledge of the wasteland without actually knowing it. )
Load the arrow and fit it into the notch of the bow, do this before lifting your bow.
Lift your bow to shoulder height.
Pull the string back and make sure that your hand rests under your jawbone.
Aim with your dominate eye.
Relax your fingers whenever shooting the arrow.
Stay in position until the arrow is fired.
Can someone give me an example of all of these point's into a RP post? ( My character will rarely shoot his bow unless he was hunting for hostile animals. And if he does have the will to shoot somebody, I want it to be detailed as possible. XD )
Can my character find the group? I'd assume a bunch of older people wouldn't invite a 13-year-old boy without a desperate reason, before the catastrophe at least. o-o
@Chronothesis The synth would have matching weaknesses to the human it was modeled after. They are created to replicate and replace humans after all, he would have needed a 'base'. DNA to be created after. Besides, you said that he wasn't programmed to know how to fight, or to be aggressive, that's a weakness / limitation. Any weakness a human could have a synth would, too.
Oh, I thought synth's could be created without DNA. o-o
Background: Jaiden was born into a very optimistic family. His parent's were young, optimistic lovers of whom believed that everything would go right as long as they tried. Then the divine's decided to fuck up their life, by having one abortion and leaving the young mother by herself to take care of one child. Life was good. Now with a single mother Jaiden was now open to a woman of whom changed from an optimistic, cat loving woman into..." I AM AN INDEPENDENT WOMAN, NOW! YOU BETTER RESPECT THAT! " Kind of gal. Yes, Jaiden was able to understand that and throughout school, his mother had taught him to open up and become himself, but that just caused more damage to Jaiden. Light Bullying, name calling, and eventually...harassment online and offline. Jaiden became devastated and soon found what he needed...on Youtube. There he realized that all these people survived the parrel's of bullying, he just needed to be stronger. Somehow, through all these viewpoints of victims of whom supposedly had been bullied--, his life morphed into a strong shell that seemed to be impenetrable. Soon enough he found his own kind, emo-esque, weird, and the accepting type of people in his life. Through there he was introduced into the gaming ocean and somehow...just somehow he had found Elder Tales. The perfect nightmare.
Personality: Jaiden is the bubbly introvert, he's that kind of person that open's up once you've hanged out around him for a long time. He's that prepubescent friend that always make's up sex jokes, but knows his limits-- he's not the ultra otaku, just a low leveled otaku that might grow out of his perverted shell. Currently, both in and out of gaming he is really mute, rarely speaking. Jaiden is only a kid and when the situation get's tough...he might break. Let's just hope that through, optimism and clinging onto what we've called hope will save us and him...
IN GAME
In-Game Name: NEKOMANTA In-Game Gender: Female Race: Human
In-Game Appearance:
Class:Monk Class Level: 69 ( Huehuehuee.... ) Skills:
A movement skill that allows the user to weave in and out of battle. This skill also leaves behind images of the user that can be used to confuse the enemy.
The user punches the ground, unleashing a powerful shockwave that damages nearby enemies and sends them flying. Though, in NEKOMANTA's style, she basically ax kick's the ground.
The user jumps into the air and deals a powerful kick at the ground, creating a shockwave that damages nearby enemies.
Buffing-Type skill, the user becomes faster and there skill cooldown's are much shorter. The user cannot use any skills during the activation of Demon Speed as it can only be used with basic kicks and punches. After this skill's usage, the user becomes slower and cannot damage opponent's as hard.
Based on illusions, the user creates a copy of themselves standing idly, when the copy is touched it splits into four transparent copies of the player, circling around the opponent while hovering and then dealing damage in a single burst.
Subclass: Survivor Represents those "lucky ones" who can survive almost any crisis. Triggered by an adverse situation such as "my weapon broke,"under an abnormal state," or "subject to critical hits and ambushes." However, not many have this subclass because it's not very useful in normal circumstances, and getting into an adverse situation can be difficult, so it's effectiveness is debated. Subclass Level: 34 Sub Skills: Repair... This ability is only activated at night time when activated all broken item's and/or damaged item's are instantly refilled back to their half health. This does not include item's that cannot be repairable, though. This skill activate's only once a month and the activation for this skill is rare-- but not the rarest. Deny Any critical hit's affected on the user is instantly deflected and then damage's only half of what the critical damage did to the player onto the opponent. This last's for 3 seconds, so any critical hit within that very 3 second's is deflected. This skill activates's randomly when in battle. Reaper The user's weapon turns into a high damaging, one-shot kill weapon for 2 seconds-- within that two seconds the player has to deal at least one hit toward's the opponent in order to kill them-- though after the usage of this skill...the user is left in extreme fatigue and cannot run for two days.
(All of these skill's can be used only at the creator's wish, just PM me when you think I can use these. )
Equipment Head: - Namine's Winter Hat (Normal) Nothing special about this hat, the only part of the outfit that wasn't originally in the Winter Expansion. Her friend, Namine made this hat for her as a decoration to remember her. Body: - Winters Touch ( Artifact Class ) Jaiden's prize, after completing The Princess's Demise. This jacket is resistant to most magic damage, any AOE and direct spell attacks do not damage the jacket as much as physical damage. The jacket is extremely resistant towards magical damage though is weak against physical damage. Due to the jacket's light build it can also increase the user's speed. Arms: Elemental Disease (Magical-Class)
Left:
A pale-gray, fingerless glove that has padding within it. The glove is resistant towards, specifically fire and ice based damage though it has to be direct, the glove itself cannot reduce any AOE type damage.
Right:
Her right arm seem's to be covered by a black metal gauntlet, the gauntlet goes to her elbow to her wrist, this is basically her shield and protector of most damage, it may seem useless-- though due to her speed and acrobatic skill she definitely finds this useful. Accessories: Frozen Crystal (Phantasmal-Class) This is Jaiden's first Phantasmal-Class item, after a huge raid during the Winter Expansion only one Phantasmal-Class item was given out after the boss was killed, that lucky person was Jaiden. Most predicted that he had gotten the Phantasmal-Class because of his survivor subclass and/or that he is a hacker. But there was no proof of him tampering with the systems. The Necklace itself can freeze (basically stun) any opponent around her within a 20 radius and is under the health percentage of 10%. All damage caused toward's the frozen opponent is affected with more damage, after the ice breaks (break's after the first strike) the user is faced with slowness effects.
