Exactly Dad. You sure know how to please!

The best part is when it gets desperate. Which it's already started sliding towards. Pulling out the alternate dimension card and everything. Great job.

Okay, time for me to unsubscribe now. Thanks for the fun guys. Gold star.

Nah, it doesn't get under my skin. I've seen way too much of this kind of stuff before, and it's never anything new. XD

But thanks. I can't wait to see what this rp has in store.

...And they've gone full retard.

Yup. I'm in favor of multiple PM posts or a private thread.

I don't know how to do it either. How does one do this thing?

Guys, let them play out their fantasy and we can leave them be. Why not make a new thread, and why not make it a private thread? I mean, it's better than having the IC spiral out of control and us unable to fix it.

And we can start this off with maybe the players first arriving to the labs? That way nobody would be confused on where they're starting, can play their character recieving their powers, and have these characters interacting before they start running simulation tests. It also helps us define what the place looks like (say they go on a tour of the facility), and plot ourselves just how the experimentation works, their plans and everything else we need within the plot to keep it going. :D

We can even make NPC scientists, recurring minor characters, show the technology they used and more.

Also if it's private, if they do happen to post we can contact somebody.

I'm just talking about being injected with animal DNA and physically changing into an animal would be a rather disorienting experience, would it not? That's a side-thing anyway, and I'm not arguing about that or questioning it. I was just assuming that they had time to get used to it and adapt, as humans are won't to do.

But as for escaping, that plan with the satellite seemed early and the method was insane - in a bad way. It came out of nowhere and I personally thought it was poorly excecuted, even in the realms of the story and its "lore".

That's my two cents, at any rate.

I did think they had been there for a while. Everyone seemed well adjusted when the topic started. On a first day, I would have expected them to be very much out of it and would have reacted negatively to their first change... But that's nitpicking.

Sending it off to space and suddenly being rebellious when participants volunteered for it was kind of ridiculous. Not to mention confusing for other players. It also is taking control away from the original poster, who's idea we all signed up to follow, right?

To be honest, Dad, you guys have kind of veered this story in a direction I don't think it was supposed to go. Whether I'd like this in less serious roleplays, I don't think this was meant to be shaken up so badly here.

His first impression had not gone so well. Deflated, the snake collected his clothing, quickly bringing it with him to a changing room before morphing back to his human self. It was an equally unpleasant experience - turning from a cold blooded reptile to a warm blooded mammal always brought about a few side effects, and he knew the Toxicologist would be calling him back for new tests before the day was done. He'd be lucky to crash in his own dorm tonight.

Pulling his hoodie back on he pushed the door closed and joined the others in the debriefing room. "Well, that went well." Sarcasm laced his words and he plopped down on a chair, ready for the worst of it. He realized then his vision had not turned back to color, and with a blink his irises fully changed and human vision returned.

And the Walrus-Man had done it. Again.

The viper slithered out from his spot near the guards, having been ready to strike for the leg of the guy while miss kitty had been distracting him so well. It took a few moments for him to shut his well extended out mouth, and he grimaced as the jaws locked into place. Sliding away from the scene, he reared up. Though it was hard to read on the scaly lack of expression that most snakes had, Caufman was watching this farce with appropriate complete and utter disbelief.

Does he want to be thrown back in the slammer or what? He had to wonder.

Having been sent the job of scout, Caufman immediately swung into action. "I'll look out ahead and keep them company. If they're caught or I find the data, then I'll alert you." He didn't wait for an answer. His vision was already sharper, the world suddenly devoid of color. His human's eyes were now mere slits, and he could feel his stomach lurch, his muscles tense up as he lost feeling in his arms and legs. Growing less and less humanoid by the second, he fell to the ground and his dried up skin hardened into scales, his body shrinking and his limbs rotting into useless nubs. They soon merged into the rest of him altogether. Caufman's head flattened out and venom pooled through his fangs, his tongue forked as he slid over his tumbled clothing and began sweeping over the floor, no longer a boy but a reptile; A snake.

The whole transformation hurt like hell with the bandage, which had thankfully fallen off with his clothing. Caufman could feel his left side burning much like his arm had before; A side effect from the injection earlier. A low hiss rattled from his throat, but he tried to ignore it, tried to feel nothing as the sore rubbed painfully over the solid ground.

Still, as he had promised, he moved quickly. He soon disappeared inside the simulation entrance, and winked out of sight.
