Evangelin "eve" Marksie

Age: 14

Appearance:
Eve looks very much like a child though the gaurd uniform counteracts this. Her hair is short, shoulder length, and mouse brown complemented by light brown eyes. six white feathered wings sprout from her back making her look like an angel.

Personality:
Outwardly Eve seems really shallow, she likes princesses and sweets and acts like everything is some sort of screwed up game. Inwardly she is more calculating, she does honestly enjoy cute things but it has a duel purpose of tricking others into thinking she is stupid. She knows a lot of things as per her mind reading powers and chooses those who she allows to know her true self very carefully.

Class: Corrupted

Weapons/Abilities:
-Flight; she's got six wings, they can get her 14 year old body off the ground
-telepathy; no ones mind is private around her, she hears thoughts the same way she hears spoken words. She can't tune any of it out and it can become irritating to her and often results in headaches or migraines.

Other:
She joined the guards originally because it was a more comfortable task than being a patient or in solitary. She doesn't necessarily like being one of them, she's just trying to have the easiest life she can get.

The Drelmont School of Wizardry

Xavier "Zee" Zuzack

Age: 16

Personality:
Zee is used to being looked at as an outsider and a freak, any sort of affection or positive attention he takes with a grain of salt so to speak. He expects adults to treat him how his parents did and kids his own age to be frightened of him. Unexpected things frighten him though he won't show it outwardly. When he is alone, which is how he prefers to be, he doesn't mind breaking rules and enjoys exploring especially old buildings.
Zee is torn between feeling better than everyone and feeling worse. This stems from his childhood of being told that magic is wrong but being sanctimoniously enthralled and surrounded by it.

Appearance:
Zee is fairly short for his age and the amount of black he wears doesn't help. He almost always wears a black jacket over a t-shirt with jeans and sneakers. He looks a lot like his father with dark hair and thin features. All but his eyes look like his father. He has his mothers eyes, who had her fathers eyes.

Bio:
Xaviers bloodline begins with his grandmother, Jenifer Douglass. Jen happened to catch the eye of a young wizard one summer and fell in love at first sight. Her attraction was only skin deep and after the summer ended he left and she moved on. Early the next spring she had a daughter, Rebecca. Jen fared well as a single mother much to do with her parents help. Rebecca grew up fairly normally until she didn't. At about three strange things started happening around her, much like her mysterious father. She never got an invitation to Drelmont, a place she didn't even know of, she never learned how to control her magic properly. Throughout her life she never understood why she could do what others could not and kept it a secret for fer of chastisement.

She grew up, and went to college, and became a financial adviser, married a handsome Attorney Deshi Zuzack, and finally had a beautiful baby boy. Xavier was named after Rebecca's grandpa because of how much he had helped raise her. Ironically enough he helped with Xavier as well, being there when the two parents were busy with work. It was Xavier's great grandfather who noticed Xavier's ability first. The child did things much like his mother, though at a younger age. Finding out was detrimental for Rebecca who had hoped the oddness of it all had left her finally Deshi didn't like it either.

The couple tried their best to raise the child, and keep his magic secret. After his Great grandfathers death Rebecca started working from home and Xavier wasn't aloud out of the house. When he got to the age children start first grade Rebecca and Deshi paid for a private tutor and made sure Xavier knew not to do anything in front of guests. They hoped that if they discouraged it enough he wouldn't end up some sort of freak.

Xavier's parents discouragement backfired to say the least. By 10 his magic could do most of the things he wanted reliably, he snuck out constantly, and detested his parents. He didn't mind abusing his power to get out of trouble in any way he could. He didn't get along with other people when he met them, most people though of him as some sort of freak or else mental.

Getting his invitation to Drelmont was the best thing that could've happened for him, the hardest part about it was convincing his parents to let him go.

Just a few questions before I finalize this;
How old are kids when they get their invitation to Drelmont? How long do they stay there? Are there magic careers or do wizards just go on to do normal things but with the aid of their secret wizardyness? Is Drelmont still alive? Is this in a particular country or...? What kind of things can magic do? How does magic work (magic words, wands, scrolls, just does things sometimes, ect)?
