Just bumping this in case people think we aren't still accepting (we are).

Gender: Female
Age: 27
Alignment: Guild
Rank within Organization: Leader

Birthmark Shape:

Location of Birthmark: Left bicep, normally covered with clothing.
Magical Abilities: Rose is able to control the elements but has a particular affinity for water. She has become quite adept at making herself invisible, giving many members of the Guild (and others) the impression that she may always be watching or listening. While it is not confirmed to be an ability the illustrious has it is widely believed that she has the ability to read minds, a rumor she has not confirmed or denied.

Place of Birth: Byron Bay, Australia
Currently Residing: New York City, NY
Personality: Rose is very forgiving by nature but does have a bit of a temper if pushed too far. As the leader of the Guild she is very gregarious and charming. It takes people a while to notice that she doesn’t talk about herself, when asked personal questions the conversation is artfully turned back to something else, usually without the other person noticing.
History/Bio:

While born in Australia Rose moved to the United States when she was 12, after her parents died. She moved in with her Aunt who was only 21 at the time, the two have been inseparably close. When Rose turned 18 her Aunt told her the truth about herself and her parents. Her parents had not died in a car accident as she’d been led to believe. No, they were murdered by other magic users who followed the ideology of the Corpus. Rose’s strange attraction to the water and the strange occurrences that happened around her, her Aunt explained was because of her magic. The two had a falling out over the lie, after having been so close for all those years.

Rose moved from the southern part of the United States to New York, hoping to find someone who could teach her about her magic. She joined the Guild and was given her rightful place as Leader, learning that her Aunt had taken over this position when Rose was younger. She is a well-respected leader - often thought of as kind and genuine. She strongly believes in the laws that have been passed to help keep her kind hidden. She believes it is the Guild’s duty to protect the weak, non-magic and magic users alike. She doesn’t want magic users to control the world but she has no problem with the Guild ruling over magic users.

By day, Rose is a high-powered executive of a technology company but she spends a great deal of her time focused on the Guild. It is not unusual for her to take special interest in new recruits, especially those she feels may be teetering on the edge between loyalty to the Guild or the Dark Shadow.

Relationships
Name: Olivia Turner
Relationship: Co-Worker (Rose is her boss)
Characters opinion of them: Rose has seemed to have taken a special interest in Olivia’s career and from time to time her personal life. Rose likes Olivia but is trying to gently dissuade the girl from exposing her kind, without revealing that she herself is a magic user, let alone the most powerful one known to be.

Name: Aloysius Leighton
Relationship: Unknown
Characters opinion of them: Rose understands the feelings that bred the Dark Shadow to be formed but does not agree with it. It is not their methods necessarily that she disagrees with as she has been known to use a strong hand in the Guild but rather their end goal. She has never publicly denounced Aloysius personally, but she has denounced the Dark Shadow, likening them to rebelling teenagers. She is waiting and watching, to see if she can change Aloysius’ mind. If not, she will end his rebellion when it goes too far.

@Stormflyx I like her! If you would like for her to have more of a relationship with Rose, feel free to PM me and we can work on it. I imagine Rose would keep close tabs on her. We will just have to see if @jakeb1993 wants anything else out of your character sheet before moving it to the character tab. Speaking of, I need to go back and fix my character sheet.....
@Stormflyx I don't know how well that would work with the plot but I'll leave it up to @jakeb1993. Do you have an idea of how your character would fit into this plot of magic users? It might be easier to make a decision if we know how you plan on using your character.
@David Gorgon Who is the PB (played by and also commonly referred to as a face claim) for your character?
@solaris Go ahead, Shoot. I believe I am in a different timezone to all of you, so that is why I don't reply right away most of the time.

@codex Rose is looking really good! Two things though:

1. Aloysius created the Dark Shadow when he was in his late teens, bout 19/20 roughly. Being 24 now it makes the Dark Shadow 4/5 years old. If the Dark Shadow killed Roses parents at aged 12 it meant Aloysius would have had to have created the Dark Shadow at age 9. And while he was a spoilt evil brat, he wasn't that evil at that age!

2. The guild has been run as a dynasty pretty much for all of its existence. So her parents would have likely have been it's leaders before her. Rose to that point wouldn't have had to risen up the ranks as it would have been given to her upon her parents death.

3. As leader of the Guild you can have more than just elemental powers with a single affinty. The guild leader is supposed to pretty much be the strongest Magic User in the world due to many generations of breeding and inheritance. So splash out a little bit more and beef her up magic wise. She is supposed to the one that everyone listens to mainly out of fear of being destroyed. It just so happens that The Guild isn't evil.

Right that's it. Also it happens that was more than a couple of points.

In terms of Co-GM though @codex you are more than welcome to have the slot if you want it.

1) Lol, the intent was for people with similar ideologies as the Corpus or Dark Shadow to have murdered her parents. If that works, I can change the wording in the character sheet accordingly.

2) I can change that as well.

3) I didn't want to overdo it, especially not at first but can definitely beef her up.

And I'm happy to Co-GM as it seems I might be in a similar timezone to other users (EST)
I like this and will begin working on my CS, but I have a question for @codex and @jakeb1993

I'm happy to help in any way I can but as of yet have not heard on status of co-gming and do not want to step on @jakeb1993's toes.

@The Angry GoatPerhaps instead of mist you can have a cloud of angry goats? No? Okay then.....
@jakeb1993 I updated my character sheet, let me know if there is anything I need to change or if there is additional information you want.
@David Gorgon I'll see if I can figure out a workaround, that should have worked. In the meantime you can embed the link with the following tag:
